Theywere found to be effective ingredients capable of resining lipid peroxidation. The componentsand linkages of the two homogeneous polysaccharides were studied by means of complete acidhydrolysis, periodate oxidation. Smith degradation enzyme hydrolysis, IR, GC and aminoacid analysis. Homogeneous polysaccharide LBPC2 was found to be a β(1→4)(1→6) peptidoglycanwith MW of 1.2×104, composed of Xyl, Rha. Man in a molar ratio of8.8:2.3;1, LBPC4 was foundto be a a(1→4)(1→6) peptidoglycan with MW of 1.0×104, composed of glucans.展开更多
Synthesis of the protected tetrasaccharide II is reported as the key intermediate of tetrasaccharide from laminin that is an important glycoprotein on the basement membrane.
Spin labeled PNAT(10) was synthesized by solid phase method with Boc strategy. The product was characterized by ESR and TOF MS analysis revealing a facile spin labeling of PNA by in situ solid phase synthesis.

Results from angiography show that the transfer of VEGF gene into the rat with experimental limb ischemia can stimulate the formation of neovessel, establish collateral circulation, augment blood perfusion, and ameliorate distal limb necrosis. These findings reveal that intramuscular electro acupuncture-mediated VEGF gene transfer may present a new therapeutic modality for treating tissue ischemia.展开更多

The unhydrolyzed phosphatidylinositol in membranes was also determined. The results indicate that the hydrolysis of phosphatidylinositol can be promoted by lanthanides (La3+, Ce3+, Y3+, Tb3+) and the effects of La3+ and Ce3+ are stronger than those of Y3+ and Tb3+.展开更多

The amplified cDNA fragments of the chemokines have been identified by nucleotide sequencing and Northern blot analysis. The results demonstrate that there are two different splicing forms of SDF-1 mRNA existing in MTEC1. The concentrated culture supernatant of MTEC1 shows an intermediate level of chemotaxis to CD4-CD8- thymocytes, which conforms to the biological function of SDF-1.展开更多

Cell adhesion receptors are recognized as the molecular basis of cell adhesion. Cadherin and lntegrin are widely expressed adhesion receptors in most tissues. They are transmembrane glycoproteins which, through their cytoplasmic domain, bind to many proteins at the inner surface of cell membrane to form molecule-linkage complexes and then connect with the cytoskeleton. Through cell adhesion receptors a network functioning as cell adhesion and signal transduction is organized between tissue cells and cellECM. In this regard cell adhesion receptors play an important role in regulation of morphogenesis, cellcell recognition, cell migration, cell sorting and the determination of cell’s fate in development.展开更多

The content of cholecystokinin octapeptide like immunoreactivity (CCK-8-ir) in the spinal perfusate of highresponder (HR) and low-responder (LR) rats was measured with radioimmunoassay. The result showed that the CCK-8-ir content in LR rats was significantly lower than that in HR rats. There exists a negative correlation between the EA effect and the CCK-8-ir content during EA stimulation. It is concluded that the spinal release of CCK-8 may be one of the key factors determining the effect of EA analgesia.展开更多
