For power efficient authentication scheme which can provide reliability, efficiency, and security for a general T-MAC communication, a novel synchronization and authentication scheme using authentication masking code was proposed. Authentication data were repeated and masked by PN sequence. The simulation results show that the proposed approach can provide synchronization and authentication simultaneously for nodes in wireless sensor network (WSN). 63 bits AMC code gives above 99.97% synchronization detection and 93.98% authentication data detection probability in BER 0.031 7. 展开更多

The design and optimization of a self-complementary two-arm Archimedean spiral antenna backed by an absorptive cavity were presented. Parametric studies on the proposed antenna structure were carried out by using CST MWS. Simulation results show that the proper choice of spiral turns and cavity depth can miniaturize the dimensions of the cavity-backed spiral antenna presented here. According to simulation results, prototype antennas operating in the 6 12 GHz band are fabricated and the dimension of the proposed cavity-backed spiral antenna is 22 mm (diameter)×15 mm (height). The performance of the proposed antenna was measured and compared with the simulation results. It is shown that the experimental results are consistent with the theoretical predictions and the suggested antenna is good enough to adapt for various wideband applications. 展开更多

A novel technique called the bitmap lattice index(BLI) is proposed, which combines the advantages of a wireless broadcasting environment with a road network. Existing road networks are based on the on-demand method: a server's workload increases as the query request increases when a server sends a client information. To solve this problem, we propose the BLI. The BLI denotes an object and a node as 0 and 1 in the Hilbert curve(HC) map. The BLI can identify the position of a node and an object through bit information; it can also reduce the broadcasting frequency of a server by reducing the size of the index, thereby decreasing the access latency and query processing times. Moreover, the BLI is highly effective for data filtering, as it can identify the positions of both an object and a node. In a road network, if filtering is done via the Euclidean distance, it may result in an error. To prevent this, we add another validation procedure. The experiment is conducted by applying the BLI to kNN query, and the technique is assessed by a performance evaluation experiment. 展开更多

Physical Properties of Ophthalmic Copolymers Containing Vinylaniline and ZnO Nanoparticles

The mixture of vinylaniline and 2-hydroxyethyl mrthacrylate mixed according to the mixing ratio, was allowed to stir in order to add functionality. ZnO nanoparticles, dispersed for approximately 1 hr in an ultrasonic bench top cleaner, were added to the mixture of monomers. Then the mixture at a mould was thermally polymerized to prepare high-performance hydrogel ophthalmic lens. The produced ophthalmic hydrogel lens was then put in 0.9% NaCl (normal saline solution) for 24 hrs for hydration, and various measurements were carried out. The surface analysis of ZnO nanoparticles dispersed in the macromolecular polymer was conducted using AFM (XE-100, Parks System). The produced hydrogel lens generally exhibited yellowish color, transparent and hydrophilic characteristics. Also, the contact lenses hydrated in standard saline solution generally exhibited the characteristics of flexibility and softness. The physical properties of the ophthalmic hydrogel lens material were measured. The refractive indexes of 1.359-1.423, water content of 37%-43%, and visible transmittance of 74%-82% were obtained. 展开更多
