By using the layer on layer debonding technology of glow discharge spectrum, the contents of C and O at the boundary of alloy layer and black plate were analyzed. And the corrosion characteristic of cavity of tinplate alloy layer was studied on-line and in-situ by means of electrochemical atomic force microscope. The corrosion depth of cavity of alloy layer in-situ after different corrosion time was measured. The results show that the cavity of alloy layer is a critical factor causing rapid decline of corrosion resistance of tinplate, and the formation of cavity of alloy layer is due to incorrect pretreatment of black plate before electrotinning. The cavity of alloy layer is the internal factor causing pitting corrosion of tinplate when the tinplate is applied to food packaging material. And the dynamic equation of pitting corrosion generated in the cavity of alloy layer conforms to logarithm law.展开更多

At present, the researches on the vibration of rolling mill are mainly the vertical vibration and torsional vibration of single stand mill, the study on the vibration of tandem rolling mill is rare. For the vibration of tandem rolling mill, the key problem is the vibration of the moving strip between stands. In this paper, considering the dynamic of moving strip and rolling theory, the vertical vibration of moving strip in the rolling process was proposed. Take the moving strip between the two mills of tandem rolling mill in the rolling process as subject investigated, according to the theory of moving beam, the vertical vibration model of moving strip in the rolling process was established. The partial differential equation was discretized by Galerkin truncation method. The natural frequency and stability of the moving strip were investigated and the numerical simulation in time domain was made. Simulation results show that, the natural frequency was strongly influenced by the rolling velocity and tension. With increasing of the rolling velocity, the first three natural frequencies decrease, the fourth natural frequency increases; with increasing of the unit tension, when the rolling velocity is high and low, respectively, the low order dimensionless natural frequency gradually decreases and increases, respectively. According to the stability of moving strip, the critical speed was determined, and the matching relationship of the tension and rolling velocity was also determined. This model can be used to study the stability of moving strip, improve the quality of strip and develop new rolling technology from the aspect of dynamics.展开更多

The results show that the wear resistances of graphite-containing composite are much better than those of the matrix under the test conditions. The anti-wear ability of magnesium alloy composite is improved substantially with the increase of the graphite content from 5% to 20%, and both wear mass loss and coefficient of friction are decreased to low level. Different wear mechanisms operate at different sliding stages. A continuous black lubricating film forms progressively on the worn surface along sliding, which effectively limits the direct interaction between the composite tribosurface and the counterpart, and also remarkably delays the transition from mild wear to severe wear for magnesium alloy composite.展开更多

When welded at higher heat inputs (100-60 kJ/cm), impact toughness values of the steel without Nb are much higher than those of the steel with Nb, and the lowest span is 153 J at 60 kJ/cm. But only a little higher values are observed at lower heat inputs (40-30 kJ/cm), and the highest span is 68 J at 30 kJ/cm. Dilatation studies indicate that continuous cooling transformation starting temperatures (Ts) of CGHAZ for the steel with Nb are approximately 15-30℃ which are lower than those of the steel without Nb at all heat inputs. For higher heat inputs, Nb in solid solution suppresses ferrite transformation and promotes the formation of granular bainite which has detrimental effect on impact toughness. For lower heat inputs higher Charpy impact energy values in the steel with Nb are associated with the formation of low carbon self-tempered martensite.展开更多

The software has an obvious style of object-oriented programming, and the modules were integrated in the simulation system. The system can optimize pass design, and it can automatically classify pass series according to the product syllabus, formulate the rolling table and simulate the rolling parameters in stretch reducing process. The simulation results were compared with the detailed technical data (used as experimental data) provided by Baotou Iron and Steel Company, and the comparison gave a clear proof of the precision of the models.展开更多

The temperature distribution and the macrosegregation together with the eutectic lamellar spacing during solidification were measured under different magnetic fields. The results indicate that the compositions in the top and bottom portions of the sample are nearly the same and the segregation phenomenon is basically eliminated by SMF at an exciting current of 125 A. The morphology of the primary phase transforms from coarse dendrite to rosette or ellipsoidal equiaxed crystal and the spacing of the eutectic lamellar increases from 1.6 to 3.9 μm when the exciting current increases from 0 to 125 A. Moreover, if the exciting current is high enough, the forced fluid flow caused by SMF will enhance the process of transition from lamellar eutectic structure to anomalous rod-like one.展开更多
