Optimal setting and placement of FACTS devices using strength Pareto multi-objective evolutionary algorithm 被引量:2

This work proposes a novel approach for multi-type optimal placement of flexible AC transmission system(FACTS) devices so as to optimize multi-objective voltage stability problem. The current study discusses a way for locating and setting of thyristor controlled series capacitor(TCSC) and static var compensator(SVC) using the multi-objective optimization approach named strength pareto multi-objective evolutionary algorithm(SPMOEA). Maximization of the static voltage stability margin(SVSM) and minimizations of real power losses(RPL) and load voltage deviation(LVD) are taken as the goals or three objective functions, when optimally locating multi-type FACTS devices. The performance and effectiveness of the proposed approach has been validated by the simulation results of the IEEE 30-bus and IEEE 118-bus test systems. The proposed approach is compared with non-dominated sorting particle swarm optimization(NSPSO) algorithm. This comparison confirms the usefulness of the multi-objective proposed technique that makes it promising for determination of combinatorial problems of FACTS devices location and setting in large scale power systems. 展开更多

This study answers this question that to which members early to take collapse of double-layer space barrel vaults grids. A reliable analytical expression for the potential of plasma waves with phase velocities near the speed of light is derived.The presented spheroid cavity model is more consistent than the previous spherical and ellipsoidal models and it explains the mono-energetic electron trajectory more accurately,especially at the relativistic region.The maximum energy of electrons is calculated and it is shown that the maximum energy of the spheroid model is less than that of the spherical model.The electron energy spectrum is also calculated and it is found that the energy distribution ratio of electrons △E/E for the spheroid model under the conditions reported here is half that of the spherical model and it is in good agreement with the experimental value in the same conditions.As a result,the quasi-mono-energetic electron output beam interacting with the laser plasma can be more appropriately described with this model. 展开更多

Introduction:Innovation is the creation of new products,services,processes or systems that first begin with a thought and is put into operation after successful implementation.This research aims to investigate the mediating role of innovation capabilities in relationship between strategic orientation and market performance in Tabriz state hospitals.Methods:This study is an applied research in terms of the purpose and it is a descriptive-correlative research in terms of methodology.The statistical population involves the staff of Tabriz state hospitals consisting 362 individuals who were selected randomly.A questionnaire was used to collect data from statistical sample.The strategic orientation was operationally defined based on Laek Cannon et al.’s(2011)model,innovation capabilities were defined based on Jimens-Jimens and Sanz Vale’s(2010)model and market performance was defined based on Hajipour et al.’s model(2012).Results:The results showed that the value of CHI SQUAR/DF for the estimated model is 0.817 which indicates the proper fitness of the model.Considering the standardized factor loads and meaningfulness coefficient it can be suggested that strategic orientation affects market performance with the mediating role of innovation capabilities.Meanwhile,the effect of strategic orientation and innovation capabilities on the market performance was confirmed based on the linear regression results.Conclusion:Innovation capabilities play an active role in the relationship between strategic orientation and market performance.Therefore,senior management of organizations needs to work to improve their performance by supporting the ability to innovate and formulating and implementing strategic orientations. 展开更多

Objective:To investigate the ability of Pseudomonas sp.isolated from East Azarbaijan,Iran in bioremediation of resorcinol.Methods:Resorcinol biodegradation was evaluated using spectrophotometry and confirmed by gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy.Results:This isolate was able to remove up to 37.12%of resorcinol from contaminated water.Reusability experiments had confirmed the biodegradation process which produced seven intermediate compounds.These intermediates were characterized by gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy technique.The products of resorcinol biodegradation were apparently 1,4-cyclohexadiene,nonadecene,2-heptadecanone,1-isopropyl-2-methoxy-4-methylbenzene,hexadecanoic acid,9-octadecenoic acid,phenol and 5-methyl-2-(1-methylethyl).Conclusions:The findings revealed that Pseudomonas sp.is able to degrade resorcinol.Because of being an indigenous organism,this isolate is more compatible with the climate of the northwest region of Iran and possibly will be used for degradation of other similar aromatic compounds. 展开更多

Nano inhomogeneity effects on small Ag/n-Si Schottky diode parameters at high temperature

Schottky diodes with an Ag/n-Si/W/Cu structure and 100μm in diameter were studied.Analyzing the silver metal surface coating on the n-Si substrate using a scanning probe microscopy(SPM) device showed a large number of nano patches in the surface with dimensions of 0 to 100 nm.The potential distribution of the patches revealed that the potential of each patch with the neighboring patches was different.The electrical characteristics of the devices were studied between temperature ranges of 300 and 380 K.When the temperature ideality factor approximately increases,the potential barrier height decreases.The potential barrier height was calculated separately from theⅠ-Ⅴand C-V characteristics.The main reasons for the significant difference between room temperature and higher temperatures were the differences in patch distribution,the different potentials of each patch,and the interactions between them.The effective potential barrier height depended on the degree of inhomogeneity,and thus the operating potential barrier height in the contact surface was smaller than the average value,and the ideality factor was more than unitary.With the increase in the potential value,the ideality factor becomes close to unitary, and with increasing temperatures,the ideality factor is increased.In this case,the maximum potential barrier height accrues at a greater distance from the metal contact.For this reason,at high temperatures the average value of the potential barrier height is smaller.Moreover,with increasing temperature,the ideality factor is increased. 展开更多
