The dust particles that were smaller than 100...Dust samples collected from the Beijing metropolitan area (China) were evaluated to determine the distribution and the concentration of platinum group elements (PGEs). The dust particles that were smaller than 100 mesh size fraction (150 μm) were analyzed after aqua regia digestion. Concentrations ofPt, Rh, and Pd were found to be between 3.96 and 356.3 ng/g, 2.76 and 97.11 ng/g, and 0.1 and 124.9 ng/g, respectively, in the urban areas of Beijing, whereas for the background samples collected from the suburbs of Beijing, the concentrations of Pt, Pd, and Rh were very low and ranged from 0.1 to 0.9 ng/g, 0.5 to 1.4 ng/g, and 0.8 to 2.2 rig/g, respectively. The distributions of PGEs in road dust were an accurate reflection of the levels of pollution and were found to match with the local traffic conditions. A strong positive correlation was established among all the dements found in road dust. This suggests that emissions of abraded fragments from vehicle exhausts may be the source of the high concentration of Pt, Rh, and Pd in road dust along the main roads of Beijing.展开更多
Due to long-term over-exploitation of groundwater in Beijing Municipality,regional groundwater funnels have formed and land subsidence has been induced.By combining a groundwater monitoring network,GPS monitor-ing net...Due to long-term over-exploitation of groundwater in Beijing Municipality,regional groundwater funnels have formed and land subsidence has been induced.By combining a groundwater monitoring network,GPS monitor-ing network data,radar satellite SAR data,GIS and other new technologies,a coupled process model based on the dy-namic variation of groundwater and the deformation response of land subsidence has been established.The dynamic variation of groundwater funnels and the land subsidence response process were analyzed systematically in Beijing.Study results indicate that current groundwater funnel areas are distributed mainly in the southwest of Shunyi District,the northeast of Chaoyang District and the northwest of Tongzhou District,with an average decline rate of groundwa-ter level of 2.66 m/yr and a maximum of 3.82 m/yr in the center of the funnels.Seasonal and interannual differences exist in the response model of land subsidence to groundwater funnels with uneven spatial and temporal distribution,where the maximum land subsidence rate was about-41.08 mm/yr and the area with a subsidence rate greater than 30 mm/yr was about 1637.29 km2.Although a consistency was revealed to exist between a groundwater funnel and the spatial distribution characteristics of the corresponding land subsidence funnel,this consistency was not perfect.The results showed that the response model of land subsidence to the dynamic variation of groundwater was more revealing when combining conventional technologies with InSAR,GIS,GPS,providing a new strategy for environmental and hydrogeological research and a scientific basis for regional land subsidence control.展开更多

Urban plants play an important role in reducing particulate pollution. Physicochemical characteristics of ambient particles settling upon leaf surfaces of eleven roadside plants at four sites of Beijing were studies. Results showed that density of particles on the leaf surfaces greatly varied with plant species and traffic condition. Fraxinus chiuensis, Sophora japonica Ailanthus altissima, Syringa oblata and Prunus persica, had larger densities of particles among the tall species. Due to resuspension of road dust, the densities of particles of Euonymus japonicns and Parthenocissus quinquefolia with low sampling height were 2-35 times to other taller tree species. For test plant species, micro-roughness of leaf surfaces and density of particles showed a close correlation. In general, the larger micro-roughness of leaf surfaces is, the larger density of particles is. Particles settling upon leaf surfaces were dominantly PM30 (particulate matter less than 10 μm in aerodynamic diameter; 98.4%) and PM2.5 (particulate matter less than 2.5 μm in aerodynamic diameter; 64.2%) which were closely relative to human health. Constant elements of particles were C, O, K, Ca, Si, Al, Mg, Na, Fe, S, Cl and minerals with higher content were SiO2, CaCO3, CaMg(CO3)2, NaCI and 2CASO4. H2O, SiO2. CaCO3 and CaMg(CO3)2 mainly came from resuspension of road dust. 2CaSO4. H2O was produced by the reaction between CaCO3 derived from earth dust or industrial emission and SO2, H2SO4 or sulfate. The watershed in Miyun County was selected as the study region with a total area of 1400 km\+2. Four typical monitoring catchments and two experimental units were used to monitor the precipitation, runoff, sediment yield and pollutant loading related to various land uses in the meantime. The results show that the total nutrient loss amounts of TN and TP are \{898.07\} t/a, and \{40.70\} t/a, respectively, in which nutrients N and P carried by runoff are \{91.3%\} and \{77.3%\}, respectively. There is relatively heavier soil erosion in the northern mountain area whereas the main nutrient loss occurs near the northeast edge of the reservoir. Different land uses would influence the loss amounts of non-point source pollutants. The amount of nutrient loss from the agricultural land per unit is highest, that from forestry comes next and that from grassland is lowest. However, due to the variability of land use areas, agricultural land contributes a lot to TP and forestry lands to TN.展开更多
Based on multi-source data,this paper evaluated the economic value of ecological services in the Yeyahu Wetland Nature Reserve,Beijing,China.The ecological services of wetland included gas regulation,water quality im-...Based on multi-source data,this paper evaluated the economic value of ecological services in the Yeyahu Wetland Nature Reserve,Beijing,China.The ecological services of wetland included gas regulation,water quality im-provement,biodiversity maintenance,erosion control,water supply,recreational opportunity,raw material supply and existence value.Multiple conventional evaluation methods were used to calculate the value of eight wetland services.The results showed that significant values came from biodiversity maintenance and recreational opportunity.The main reasons were as follows.Firstly,Yeyahu Wetland Nature Reserve was the habitat for migrant birds,and government had payed more efforts to protect precious birds.Secondly,the population is large in Beijing.People enjoyed going outside and enjoyed the natural and artificial wetland scenes.At the same time,most people were prepared to pay for wetland conservation.The decline of vegetation cover made the economic value of erosion control the lowest.While the shrink of water resource and the deteriorative water quality caused the economic value of water supply lower.The evaluation results could help decision-makers understand the present status of the Yeyahu Wetland Nature Reserve and provide a scientific basis for strategic decision.展开更多

Fully understanding the nature of the changes will play a significant role in a better understanding of global climate change. This work discussed the climate change of the last interglacial period and Holocene in Beijing area to discover the mechanism of local palaeo-climate change. The palaeo-vegetation of the last interglacial period in Xishan Mountain of Beijing was reconstructed by pollen analysis and thermo-luminescence dating to represent the change of palaeo-climate and palaeo-environment. Palaeo-vegetation indicators demonstrated that the climate change of the last interglacial period included 6 stages and was homologous to that reflected by the records from deep sea depositions and polar ice cores, respectively corresponding to Marine Isotope Stage (MIS) 5e, 5d, 5c, 5b, 5a and the interim from MIS5 to MIS4 from the early to the late. Millennial climate abrupt events occurred in MIS 5e, which had an agreement with the records of GRIP. In addition, a climate warming event appeared in the interim from MIS5 to MIS4 and it also was found in other regions of the world. Compared with the vegetation and environment indicators of Holocene in Beijing area, it was found that the vegetation, climate and environment of the last glacial period were better than those of Holocene. The climate abrupt events not only appeared in the last interglacial period and MIS 5e, but also occurred in Holocene, whose mechanism and pattern were analogical. After analyzing the records of millennial climate abrupt change events from this work, Ice Cores and others, it was concluded that climate was instability in the interglacial period.展开更多

Temporal and spatial va...Based on the characteristics of land use and drainage network of the upper watershed of the Miyun Reservoir, Beijing, 26 monitoring and sampling sites were selected in different sub-catchments. Temporal and spatial variations in nutrient loss were dealt with in this paper in terms of the monitoring data on the water quality of the main tributaries flowing into the Miyun Reservoir. In combination with the monitoring data on water quality, the impacts of watershed characteristics including land-use type, landscape pattern, and drainage density were assessed. The concentrations of nutrients in the rainy season are higher than those in other seasons, and the concentrations of NO3--N are linearly related to those of total N which is the main form of nitrogen present in the river water. The concentrations of nitrogen become higher toward the reservoir along the main rivers. The seasonal variation of nitrogen in the watershed affected by intensive human activities is very obvious; in the watershed with steady or low water flow, the seasonal variation of nitrogen is less obvious. Forest land and grassland can trap and filter nitrogen effectively. Land-use pattern also has important impacts on the loss of nitrogen. The concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorus in the water bodies show great temporal and spatial variations. On a temporal scale, the concentrations of TN and TP in the rainy reason are higher than those in other seasons. On a spatial scale, the concentrations of TN and NO3--N in the Qingshui River and Chaohe River are highest all the time. The spatial variation of TP is distinct, being obvious at sampling sites near villages. The form of nitrogen and phosphorus loss varies in different hydrological seasons. Dissolved nitrogen and phosphorus are the main forms in streams in non-rainy seasons, the dissolved nitrogen and total nitrogen decrease in percentage in the rainy season. Particulate nitrogen and phosphorus are the main forms in some rivers. The concentrations of TN and NO3--N from orchards and villages are high whereas those from forest land are lowest. Land-use pattern has impacts on TN and NO3--N losses, at the sampling sites near the source landscape,the concentrations are higher than those at the sampling sites near the sink landscape. Water quality of the rivers which flow into the Miyuan Reservior is influenced by the composition of adjacent soils.展开更多

It was usually ...The precipitation recharge coefficient(PRC), representing the amount of groundwater recharge from precipitation, is an important parameter for groundwater resources evaluation and numerical simulation. It was usually obtained from empirical knowledge and site experiments in the 1980 s. However, the environmental settings have been greatly modified from that time due to land use change and groundwater over-pumping, especially in the Beijing plain area(BPA). This paper aims to estimate and analyze PRC of BPA with the distributed hydrological model and GIS for the year 2011 with similar annual precipitation as long-term mean. It is found that the recharge from vertical(precipitation + irrigation) and precipitation is 291.0 mm/yr and 233.7 mm/yr, respectively, which accounts for 38.6% and 36.6% of corresponding input water. The regional mean PRC is 0.366, which is a little different from the traditional map. However, it has a spatial variation ranging from –7.0% to 17.5% for various sub-regions. Since the vadose zone is now much thicker than the evaporation extinction depth, the land cover is regarded as the major dynamic factor that causes the variation of PRC in this area due to the difference of evapotranspiration rates. It is suggested that the negative impact of reforestation on groundwater quantity within BPA should be well investigated, because the PRC beneath forestland is the smallest among all land cover types.展开更多

The combined-business structure and its distribution is influenced by geographical location, natural conditions and industrial investment and many other factors. Polarization is a basic characteristic of electromagnetic waves that conveys much optical information owing to its many states.The polarization state is manipulated and controlled for optical information security,opti...Polarization is a basic characteristic of electromagnetic waves that conveys much optical information owing to its many states.The polarization state is manipulated and controlled for optical information security,optical encryption,and optical communication.Metasurface devices provide a new way to manipulate wave-fronts of light.A single ultrathin metasurface device can generate and modulate several differently polarized light fields,and thus carries optical information in several different channels.Terahertz(THz)waves have become widely used as carrier waves for wireless communication.Compact and functional metasurface devices are in high demand for THz elements and systems.This paper proposes a tri-layer metallic THz metasurface for multi-channel polarization generation and phase modulation with a high efficiency of approximately 80%.An azimuthally polarized THz vectorial beam generator is realized and characterized for use as a THz polarization analyzer.The incident polarization angle can be observed graphically with high accuracy.Moreover,a vectorial hologram with eight channels for different linear polarization states is demonstrated experimentally.The information in different holograms can be hidden by choosing the polarization channel for detection.This work contributes to achieving multi-functional metasurface in the THz band and can benefit THz communication and optical information security.展开更多
The recharged zinc-air battery(ZAB) has drawn significant attention owing to increasing requirement for energy conversion and storage devices.Fabricating the efficient bifunctional oxygen catalyst using a convenient s...The recharged zinc-air battery(ZAB) has drawn significant attention owing to increasing requirement for energy conversion and storage devices.Fabricating the efficient bifunctional oxygen catalyst using a convenient strategy is vitally important for the rechargeable ZAB.In this study,the bimetallic ZIFs-containing electrospun(ES) carbon nanofibers membrane with hierarchically porous structure was prepared by coaxial electrospinning and carbonization process,which was expected to be a bifunctional electrocatalyst for ZABs.Owing to the formed dual single-atomic sites of Co-N_(4) and Zn-N_(4),the obtained ES-Co/ZnCNZIFexhibited the preferable performance toward oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) with E1/2of 0.857 V and JLof 5.52 mA cm^(-2),which were more than Pt/C.Meanwhile,it exhibited a marked oxygen evolution reaction(OER) property with overpotential of 462 mV due to the agglomerated metallic Co nanoparticles.Furthermore,the ZAB based on the ES-Co/Zn-CNZIFcarbon nanofibers membranes delivered peak power density of 215 mW cm^(-2),specific capacity of 802.6 mA h g^(-1),and exceptional cycling stability,far larger than Pt/C+RuO_(2)-based ZABs.A solid-state ZAB based on ES-Co/Zn-CNZIFshowed better flexibility and stability with different bending angles.展开更多
Li(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO) solid garnet-type electrolyte has been widely reported due to its outstanding safety and electrochemical stability.However,the inherent rigidity and brittleness of LLZTO lead...Li(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO) solid garnet-type electrolyte has been widely reported due to its outstanding safety and electrochemical stability.However,the inherent rigidity and brittleness of LLZTO lead to poor contact with anode/cathode and the operation failure of full cells.Herein,the dual-interlayers are constructed as the fast interfacial ion-migration channel by using Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)(MXene,Txis-O,-OH,-F) with trace ionic liquid(IL),which promote the intimate contact between LLZTO and anode/cathode and suppress Li-dendrites growth.Notably,IL can wet the cathode to promote intimate interface contact and be decomposed into some inorganic compounds(such as Li3N,LiF,and Li2Sx),resulting in reduced interfacial resistance and fast Li-ion transportation.Consequently,in the prepared Li-symmetric cell,the interfacial resistance on the anode side plunges to 33.1 Ω cm^(-2),and stably maintains over 1000 h without short circuit at 0.05 mA cm^(-2).The full cell of Li|LiFePO4delivers a high initial capacity of 158.52 mA h g^(-1)and outstanding retention of 90.18% after 100 cycles at 60℃ and 0.2 C.Our work provides an efficient strategy to design dual-interlayers between LLZTO and anode/cathode for the interfacial modification to enhance the performance of solid garnet batteries.展开更多

The automatic extraction of gullies from digital elevation models(DEMs)has great application value in GIS and hydrology.Many types of algorithms have been developed to address this problem,and the well-known D8(Determ...The automatic extraction of gullies from digital elevation models(DEMs)has great application value in GIS and hydrology.Many types of algorithms have been developed to address this problem,and the well-known D8(Deterministic eight-node)algorithm has been widely applied and implemented in some commercial GIS software such as ArcGIS.However,a key parameter called flow accumulation threshold(FAT)must be determined in this process.Numerous studies focus on how to determine an optimal value for this parameter but ignore that the optimal threshold varies for different gullies,so the universality of a different optimal threshold parameter determined by different methods is poor.To address this problem,this study designs a parameter called surface concavity index(SC-index)that can describe the shape of gullies from the perspective of surface morphology.Based on this index,the positions of different gullies'heads are identified,and then the flow accumulation matrix calculated by the D8 algorithm is used as auxiliary data to extract the gully network in the research area.In this study,six small watersheds in the Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi,China,were used as test areas to verify the validity of the proposed method in areas with various landform types.Experimental results show that gully heads in different test areas can be effectively identified by setting different SCindex thresholds that are related to the types of terrain in the test areas.Then,the entire gully network can be extracted in watersheds with the help of a D8 algorithm.The accuracy of the gully network extracted by the new method is better than the contrast method in all test areas.In test areas with a large area of flat land(e.g.,Chunhua),the difference between the total length of gullies extracted by the new method and the reference value is-2.77 km,while the corresponding value of the contrast method is 14.50 km.In test areas with large numbers of short gullies(e.g.,Jiuyuangou),the difference between the total length of gullies extracted by the new method and the reference value is-2.61 km while the corresponding value of the contrast method is-27.9km.It is pointed out that the new method can not only avoid the extraction of pseudo gullies,but also extract short gullies effectively.Further experimental analysis shows that the dependence of the new method on DEM resolution is significantly weaker than that of the contrast method.Taking Jiuyuangou test area as an example,when the DEM cell size increases from 5 m to 30 m,the total length of gullies extracted by the new method changes only about 1km,while the corresponding value of the contrast method exceeds 20 km.展开更多
Background Internet gaming disorder(IGD)is a mental health issue that affects individuals worldwide.However,the lack of knowledge about the biomarkers associated with the development of IGD has restricted the diagnosi...Background Internet gaming disorder(IGD)is a mental health issue that affects individuals worldwide.However,the lack of knowledge about the biomarkers associated with the development of IGD has restricted the diagnosis and treatment of this disorder.Aims We aimed to reveal the biomarkers associated with the development of IGD through resting-state brain network analysis and provide clues for the diagnosis and treatment of IGD.Methods Twenty-six patients with IGD,23 excessive internet game users(EIUs)who recurrently played internet games but were not diagnosed with IGD and 29 healthy controls(HCs)performed delay discounting task(DDT)and Iowa gambling task(IGT).Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)data were also collected.Results Patients with IGD exhibited significantly lower hubness in the right medial orbital part of the superior frontal gyrus(ORBsupmed)than both the EIU and the HC groups.Additionally,the hubness of the right ORBsupmed was found to be positively correlated with the highest excessive internet gaming degree during the past year in the EIU group but not the IGD group;this might be the protective mechanism that prevents EIUs from becoming addicted to internet games.Moreover,the hubness of the right ORBsupmed was found to be related to the treatment outcome of patients with IGD,with higher hubness of this region indicating better recovery when undergoing forced abstinence.Further modelling analysis of the DDT and IGT showed that patients with IGD displayed higher impulsivity during the decision-making process,and impulsivity-related parameters were negatively correlated with the hubness of right ORBsupmed.Conclusions Our findings revealed that the impulsivity-related right ORBsupmed hubness could serve as a potential biomarker of IGD and provide clues for the diagnosis and treatment of IGD.展开更多

文摘Novel electron states stabilized by Coulomb interactions attract tremendous interests in condensed matter physics.These states are studied by corresponding phase transitions occurring at extreme conditions such as mK temperatures and high magnetic field.In this work,we introduce a magneto-optical Kerr effect measurement system to comprehensively explore these phases in addition to conventional transport measurement.This system,composed of an all-fiber zero-loop Sagnac interferometer and in situ piezo-scanner inside a dilution refrigerator,operates below 100 m K,with a maximum field of 12 Tesla and has a resolution as small as 0.2μrad.As a demonstration,we investigate TbMn_(6)Sn_(6),where the manganese atoms form Kagome lattice that hosts topological non-trivial Dirac cones.We observed two types of Kerr signals,stemming from its fully polarized ferromagnetic ground state and positive charged carriers within the Dirac-like dispersion.

文摘Dust samples collected from the Beijing metropolitan area (China) were evaluated to determine the distribution and the concentration of platinum group elements (PGEs). The dust particles that were smaller than 100 mesh size fraction (150 μm) were analyzed after aqua regia digestion. Concentrations ofPt, Rh, and Pd were found to be between 3.96 and 356.3 ng/g, 2.76 and 97.11 ng/g, and 0.1 and 124.9 ng/g, respectively, in the urban areas of Beijing, whereas for the background samples collected from the suburbs of Beijing, the concentrations of Pt, Pd, and Rh were very low and ranged from 0.1 to 0.9 ng/g, 0.5 to 1.4 ng/g, and 0.8 to 2.2 rig/g, respectively. The distributions of PGEs in road dust were an accurate reflection of the levels of pollution and were found to match with the local traffic conditions. A strong positive correlation was established among all the dements found in road dust. This suggests that emissions of abraded fragments from vehicle exhausts may be the source of the high concentration of Pt, Rh, and Pd in road dust along the main roads of Beijing.

文摘Due to long-term over-exploitation of groundwater in Beijing Municipality,regional groundwater funnels have formed and land subsidence has been induced.By combining a groundwater monitoring network,GPS monitor-ing network data,radar satellite SAR data,GIS and other new technologies,a coupled process model based on the dy-namic variation of groundwater and the deformation response of land subsidence has been established.The dynamic variation of groundwater funnels and the land subsidence response process were analyzed systematically in Beijing.Study results indicate that current groundwater funnel areas are distributed mainly in the southwest of Shunyi District,the northeast of Chaoyang District and the northwest of Tongzhou District,with an average decline rate of groundwa-ter level of 2.66 m/yr and a maximum of 3.82 m/yr in the center of the funnels.Seasonal and interannual differences exist in the response model of land subsidence to groundwater funnels with uneven spatial and temporal distribution,where the maximum land subsidence rate was about-41.08 mm/yr and the area with a subsidence rate greater than 30 mm/yr was about 1637.29 km2.Although a consistency was revealed to exist between a groundwater funnel and the spatial distribution characteristics of the corresponding land subsidence funnel,this consistency was not perfect.The results showed that the response model of land subsidence to the dynamic variation of groundwater was more revealing when combining conventional technologies with InSAR,GIS,GPS,providing a new strategy for environmental and hydrogeological research and a scientific basis for regional land subsidence control.

文摘Particulate pollution is a serious health problem throughout the world, exacerbating a wide range of respiratory and vascular illnesses in urban areas. Urban plants play an important role in reducing particulate pollution. Physicochemical characteristics of ambient particles settling upon leaf surfaces of eleven roadside plants at four sites of Beijing were studies. Results showed that density of particles on the leaf surfaces greatly varied with plant species and traffic condition. Fraxinus chiuensis, Sophora japonica Ailanthus altissima, Syringa oblata and Prunus persica, had larger densities of particles among the tall species. Due to resuspension of road dust, the densities of particles of Euonymus japonicns and Parthenocissus quinquefolia with low sampling height were 2-35 times to other taller tree species. For test plant species, micro-roughness of leaf surfaces and density of particles showed a close correlation. In general, the larger micro-roughness of leaf surfaces is, the larger density of particles is. Particles settling upon leaf surfaces were dominantly PM30 (particulate matter less than 10 μm in aerodynamic diameter; 98.4%) and PM2.5 (particulate matter less than 2.5 μm in aerodynamic diameter; 64.2%) which were closely relative to human health. Constant elements of particles were C, O, K, Ca, Si, Al, Mg, Na, Fe, S, Cl and minerals with higher content were SiO2, CaCO3, CaMg(CO3)2, NaCI and 2CASO4. H2O, SiO2. CaCO3 and CaMg(CO3)2 mainly came from resuspension of road dust. 2CaSO4. H2O was produced by the reaction between CaCO3 derived from earth dust or industrial emission and SO2, H2SO4 or sulfate. NaCl was derived from sea salt.
文摘Nitrogen and phosphorus are the major nutrients to cause eutrophication to degrade water quality of the Miyun Reservoir, a very important drinking water source of Beijing, China, and they are mainly from non-point sources. The watershed in Miyun County was selected as the study region with a total area of 1400 km\+2. Four typical monitoring catchments and two experimental units were used to monitor the precipitation, runoff, sediment yield and pollutant loading related to various land uses in the meantime. The results show that the total nutrient loss amounts of TN and TP are \{898.07\} t/a, and \{40.70\} t/a, respectively, in which nutrients N and P carried by runoff are \{91.3%\} and \{77.3%\}, respectively. There is relatively heavier soil erosion in the northern mountain area whereas the main nutrient loss occurs near the northeast edge of the reservoir. Different land uses would influence the loss amounts of non-point source pollutants. The amount of nutrient loss from the agricultural land per unit is highest, that from forestry comes next and that from grassland is lowest. However, due to the variability of land use areas, agricultural land contributes a lot to TP and forestry lands to TN.

文摘Based on multi-source data,this paper evaluated the economic value of ecological services in the Yeyahu Wetland Nature Reserve,Beijing,China.The ecological services of wetland included gas regulation,water quality im-provement,biodiversity maintenance,erosion control,water supply,recreational opportunity,raw material supply and existence value.Multiple conventional evaluation methods were used to calculate the value of eight wetland services.The results showed that significant values came from biodiversity maintenance and recreational opportunity.The main reasons were as follows.Firstly,Yeyahu Wetland Nature Reserve was the habitat for migrant birds,and government had payed more efforts to protect precious birds.Secondly,the population is large in Beijing.People enjoyed going outside and enjoyed the natural and artificial wetland scenes.At the same time,most people were prepared to pay for wetland conservation.The decline of vegetation cover made the economic value of erosion control the lowest.While the shrink of water resource and the deteriorative water quality caused the economic value of water supply lower.The evaluation results could help decision-makers understand the present status of the Yeyahu Wetland Nature Reserve and provide a scientific basis for strategic decision.
文摘Research on climate changes between the last interglacial period and Holocene renders a speculation on the tendency of present climate. Fully understanding the nature of the changes will play a significant role in a better understanding of global climate change. This work discussed the climate change of the last interglacial period and Holocene in Beijing area to discover the mechanism of local palaeo-climate change. The palaeo-vegetation of the last interglacial period in Xishan Mountain of Beijing was reconstructed by pollen analysis and thermo-luminescence dating to represent the change of palaeo-climate and palaeo-environment. Palaeo-vegetation indicators demonstrated that the climate change of the last interglacial period included 6 stages and was homologous to that reflected by the records from deep sea depositions and polar ice cores, respectively corresponding to Marine Isotope Stage (MIS) 5e, 5d, 5c, 5b, 5a and the interim from MIS5 to MIS4 from the early to the late. Millennial climate abrupt events occurred in MIS 5e, which had an agreement with the records of GRIP. In addition, a climate warming event appeared in the interim from MIS5 to MIS4 and it also was found in other regions of the world. Compared with the vegetation and environment indicators of Holocene in Beijing area, it was found that the vegetation, climate and environment of the last glacial period were better than those of Holocene. The climate abrupt events not only appeared in the last interglacial period and MIS 5e, but also occurred in Holocene, whose mechanism and pattern were analogical. After analyzing the records of millennial climate abrupt change events from this work, Ice Cores and others, it was concluded that climate was instability in the interglacial period.

文摘The five central cities-Beijing,Tianjin,Shanghai,Guangzhou and Shenzhen-of the three most important strategic regions in China,namely Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei metropolitan region,the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta,are taken as a comparative analysis on urban producer services' competitiveness,especially focusing on the comparative advantages and disadvantages of producer services in Beijing.Firstly,based on an integrated indicator system including one objective hierarchy,four standard hierarchies and 35 indicator hierarchies,the study applies factor analysis model and analytic hierarchy process model reformed by entropy technology to measure the comprehensive competitiveness of producer services in the above five cities.Secondly,Beijing has comparative advantages of capital resource,industrial base,scientific research resource and market scale,since it takes the first place of the five cities in the comprehensive competitiveness of producer services,the competitiveness of industrial development,business environment and living environment,only inferior to Shanghai in the competitiveness of talent capital.Thirdly,Beijing has comparative disadvantages in the level of producer services development,urban innovation capability and living environment.Finally,five proposals are put forth to enhance the competitiveness of producer services in Beijing,namely perfecting the system of laws and statutes,supporting the development of industry association,implementing scientific development planning,introducing preferential fiscal and taxation policies and strengthening human capital reserve.

文摘Based on the characteristics of land use and drainage network of the upper watershed of the Miyun Reservoir, Beijing, 26 monitoring and sampling sites were selected in different sub-catchments. Temporal and spatial variations in nutrient loss were dealt with in this paper in terms of the monitoring data on the water quality of the main tributaries flowing into the Miyun Reservoir. In combination with the monitoring data on water quality, the impacts of watershed characteristics including land-use type, landscape pattern, and drainage density were assessed. The concentrations of nutrients in the rainy season are higher than those in other seasons, and the concentrations of NO3--N are linearly related to those of total N which is the main form of nitrogen present in the river water. The concentrations of nitrogen become higher toward the reservoir along the main rivers. The seasonal variation of nitrogen in the watershed affected by intensive human activities is very obvious; in the watershed with steady or low water flow, the seasonal variation of nitrogen is less obvious. Forest land and grassland can trap and filter nitrogen effectively. Land-use pattern also has important impacts on the loss of nitrogen. The concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorus in the water bodies show great temporal and spatial variations. On a temporal scale, the concentrations of TN and TP in the rainy reason are higher than those in other seasons. On a spatial scale, the concentrations of TN and NO3--N in the Qingshui River and Chaohe River are highest all the time. The spatial variation of TP is distinct, being obvious at sampling sites near villages. The form of nitrogen and phosphorus loss varies in different hydrological seasons. Dissolved nitrogen and phosphorus are the main forms in streams in non-rainy seasons, the dissolved nitrogen and total nitrogen decrease in percentage in the rainy season. Particulate nitrogen and phosphorus are the main forms in some rivers. The concentrations of TN and NO3--N from orchards and villages are high whereas those from forest land are lowest. Land-use pattern has impacts on TN and NO3--N losses, at the sampling sites near the source landscape,the concentrations are higher than those at the sampling sites near the sink landscape. Water quality of the rivers which flow into the Miyuan Reservior is influenced by the composition of adjacent soils.

文摘The precipitation recharge coefficient(PRC), representing the amount of groundwater recharge from precipitation, is an important parameter for groundwater resources evaluation and numerical simulation. It was usually obtained from empirical knowledge and site experiments in the 1980 s. However, the environmental settings have been greatly modified from that time due to land use change and groundwater over-pumping, especially in the Beijing plain area(BPA). This paper aims to estimate and analyze PRC of BPA with the distributed hydrological model and GIS for the year 2011 with similar annual precipitation as long-term mean. It is found that the recharge from vertical(precipitation + irrigation) and precipitation is 291.0 mm/yr and 233.7 mm/yr, respectively, which accounts for 38.6% and 36.6% of corresponding input water. The regional mean PRC is 0.366, which is a little different from the traditional map. However, it has a spatial variation ranging from –7.0% to 17.5% for various sub-regions. Since the vadose zone is now much thicker than the evaporation extinction depth, the land cover is regarded as the major dynamic factor that causes the variation of PRC in this area due to the difference of evapotranspiration rates. It is suggested that the negative impact of reforestation on groundwater quantity within BPA should be well investigated, because the PRC beneath forestland is the smallest among all land cover types.

文摘Taking 140 administrative villages for tourism expert diagnostic training as the object, using the minimum variance method and spatial analysis method, this paper studied leading types of rural tourism industry in Beijing based on a comprehensive analysis of the tourism business types in the villages. The results showed that rural tourism businesses are mostly the combination of many types, dominated by picking gardens and leisure farms, and the second dominant type is the combination of leisure farm and natural village household, with the clear regional distribution. The combined-business structure and its distribution is influenced by geographical location, natural conditions and industrial investment and many other factors. Water element is an important symbol of rural tourism in the suburbs of Beijing. The newly-emerging operation modes should be concluded in the scope of new format.

文摘Snacks are an important part of the catering industry,whose spatial pattern distribution will directly affect the behavior of residents and tourists decision-making.Therefore,this paper chose 'Shaxian snacks' and 'Chengdu snacks' outlets in the downtown area of Beijing as the research object,taking POI data and GIS spatial data as data sources,using GIS spatial analysis and nuclear density estimation method,to make a comparative analysis of the spatial distribution characteristics of snack outlets in downtown of Beijing.The results showed that(1) distribution characteristics of snacks outlets in each district varied greatly.(2) Distribution differences of both snacks outlets in each circle was in significant.(3) Distribution of snacks outlets from the center to the periphery along the ring roads took on the "pyramid type".(4) Distribution of snacks outlet show stronger proximity to road than to subway.Distribution characteristics of the snack outlets included(1) Spatial distribution of the snacks outlets showed weak centrality.(2) The snacks outlets showed significant characteristics of spatial aggregation with great differences in internal structure.According to the above conclusions,combined with municipal planning,this paper according to the classification of the city,put forward suggestions on the distribution of snack outlets in Beijing,(1) Recombine the snack outlets in old urban districts.(2) According to the city functional orientation,redistribute the snack outlets in new urban districts.
文摘<div style="text-align:justify;"> Precipitation is an important part of the global hydrological cycle. The large- scale, high-precision continuous precipitation data obtained by satellite remote sensing detection technology has become an important source of spatial precipitation data. However, because the spatial resolution of remote sensing precipitation data is still low, it is difficult to meet the needs of hydrological research, which restricts their application in drought and flood analysis, hydrological simulation, etc. In response to this problem, this paper takes the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as the research area, downscaling the TRMM data and the GPM data space of the continuation plan, and increasing the spatial resolution of the data to 1 km. Compared with the original data, spatial downscaling data not only greatly improves the spatial resolution, but also increases the accuracy of the data, which has better applicability. </div>

文摘Polarization is a basic characteristic of electromagnetic waves that conveys much optical information owing to its many states.The polarization state is manipulated and controlled for optical information security,optical encryption,and optical communication.Metasurface devices provide a new way to manipulate wave-fronts of light.A single ultrathin metasurface device can generate and modulate several differently polarized light fields,and thus carries optical information in several different channels.Terahertz(THz)waves have become widely used as carrier waves for wireless communication.Compact and functional metasurface devices are in high demand for THz elements and systems.This paper proposes a tri-layer metallic THz metasurface for multi-channel polarization generation and phase modulation with a high efficiency of approximately 80%.An azimuthally polarized THz vectorial beam generator is realized and characterized for use as a THz polarization analyzer.The incident polarization angle can be observed graphically with high accuracy.Moreover,a vectorial hologram with eight channels for different linear polarization states is demonstrated experimentally.The information in different holograms can be hidden by choosing the polarization channel for detection.This work contributes to achieving multi-functional metasurface in the THz band and can benefit THz communication and optical information security.

文摘The recharged zinc-air battery(ZAB) has drawn significant attention owing to increasing requirement for energy conversion and storage devices.Fabricating the efficient bifunctional oxygen catalyst using a convenient strategy is vitally important for the rechargeable ZAB.In this study,the bimetallic ZIFs-containing electrospun(ES) carbon nanofibers membrane with hierarchically porous structure was prepared by coaxial electrospinning and carbonization process,which was expected to be a bifunctional electrocatalyst for ZABs.Owing to the formed dual single-atomic sites of Co-N_(4) and Zn-N_(4),the obtained ES-Co/ZnCNZIFexhibited the preferable performance toward oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) with E1/2of 0.857 V and JLof 5.52 mA cm^(-2),which were more than Pt/C.Meanwhile,it exhibited a marked oxygen evolution reaction(OER) property with overpotential of 462 mV due to the agglomerated metallic Co nanoparticles.Furthermore,the ZAB based on the ES-Co/Zn-CNZIFcarbon nanofibers membranes delivered peak power density of 215 mW cm^(-2),specific capacity of 802.6 mA h g^(-1),and exceptional cycling stability,far larger than Pt/C+RuO_(2)-based ZABs.A solid-state ZAB based on ES-Co/Zn-CNZIFshowed better flexibility and stability with different bending angles.

文摘Li(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO) solid garnet-type electrolyte has been widely reported due to its outstanding safety and electrochemical stability.However,the inherent rigidity and brittleness of LLZTO lead to poor contact with anode/cathode and the operation failure of full cells.Herein,the dual-interlayers are constructed as the fast interfacial ion-migration channel by using Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)(MXene,Txis-O,-OH,-F) with trace ionic liquid(IL),which promote the intimate contact between LLZTO and anode/cathode and suppress Li-dendrites growth.Notably,IL can wet the cathode to promote intimate interface contact and be decomposed into some inorganic compounds(such as Li3N,LiF,and Li2Sx),resulting in reduced interfacial resistance and fast Li-ion transportation.Consequently,in the prepared Li-symmetric cell,the interfacial resistance on the anode side plunges to 33.1 Ω cm^(-2),and stably maintains over 1000 h without short circuit at 0.05 mA cm^(-2).The full cell of Li|LiFePO4delivers a high initial capacity of 158.52 mA h g^(-1)and outstanding retention of 90.18% after 100 cycles at 60℃ and 0.2 C.Our work provides an efficient strategy to design dual-interlayers between LLZTO and anode/cathode for the interfacial modification to enhance the performance of solid garnet batteries.

文摘The Ru-catalyzed carbonylation of alkenes with CO_(2)as a C1 surrogate and imidazole chlorides as the promotor is investigated by a combination of computational and experimental study.The conversion rate of CO_(2)to CO is positively correlated with the efficiency of both hydroesterification and hydroformylation,which is found facilitated in the presence of chloride additives with a decreasing order of BmimCl~B3MimCl>BmmimCl~LiCl.Taking the hydroesterification with MeOH as a representative example,BmimCl bearing C-H functionality at the C^(2)site of the cation assists the reduction of CO_(2)to CO as a hydrogen donor medium,with the anion and cation acting in a synergistic fashion.Subsequent insertion of CO_(2)into the formed Ru-H bond with the assistance of chloride anion produces the Ru-COOH species,which ultimately accelerates the activation of CO_(2).

文摘The automatic extraction of gullies from digital elevation models(DEMs)has great application value in GIS and hydrology.Many types of algorithms have been developed to address this problem,and the well-known D8(Deterministic eight-node)algorithm has been widely applied and implemented in some commercial GIS software such as ArcGIS.However,a key parameter called flow accumulation threshold(FAT)must be determined in this process.Numerous studies focus on how to determine an optimal value for this parameter but ignore that the optimal threshold varies for different gullies,so the universality of a different optimal threshold parameter determined by different methods is poor.To address this problem,this study designs a parameter called surface concavity index(SC-index)that can describe the shape of gullies from the perspective of surface morphology.Based on this index,the positions of different gullies'heads are identified,and then the flow accumulation matrix calculated by the D8 algorithm is used as auxiliary data to extract the gully network in the research area.In this study,six small watersheds in the Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi,China,were used as test areas to verify the validity of the proposed method in areas with various landform types.Experimental results show that gully heads in different test areas can be effectively identified by setting different SCindex thresholds that are related to the types of terrain in the test areas.Then,the entire gully network can be extracted in watersheds with the help of a D8 algorithm.The accuracy of the gully network extracted by the new method is better than the contrast method in all test areas.In test areas with a large area of flat land(e.g.,Chunhua),the difference between the total length of gullies extracted by the new method and the reference value is-2.77 km,while the corresponding value of the contrast method is 14.50 km.In test areas with large numbers of short gullies(e.g.,Jiuyuangou),the difference between the total length of gullies extracted by the new method and the reference value is-2.61 km while the corresponding value of the contrast method is-27.9km.It is pointed out that the new method can not only avoid the extraction of pseudo gullies,but also extract short gullies effectively.Further experimental analysis shows that the dependence of the new method on DEM resolution is significantly weaker than that of the contrast method.Taking Jiuyuangou test area as an example,when the DEM cell size increases from 5 m to 30 m,the total length of gullies extracted by the new method changes only about 1km,while the corresponding value of the contrast method exceeds 20 km.

文摘Background Internet gaming disorder(IGD)is a mental health issue that affects individuals worldwide.However,the lack of knowledge about the biomarkers associated with the development of IGD has restricted the diagnosis and treatment of this disorder.Aims We aimed to reveal the biomarkers associated with the development of IGD through resting-state brain network analysis and provide clues for the diagnosis and treatment of IGD.Methods Twenty-six patients with IGD,23 excessive internet game users(EIUs)who recurrently played internet games but were not diagnosed with IGD and 29 healthy controls(HCs)performed delay discounting task(DDT)and Iowa gambling task(IGT).Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)data were also collected.Results Patients with IGD exhibited significantly lower hubness in the right medial orbital part of the superior frontal gyrus(ORBsupmed)than both the EIU and the HC groups.Additionally,the hubness of the right ORBsupmed was found to be positively correlated with the highest excessive internet gaming degree during the past year in the EIU group but not the IGD group;this might be the protective mechanism that prevents EIUs from becoming addicted to internet games.Moreover,the hubness of the right ORBsupmed was found to be related to the treatment outcome of patients with IGD,with higher hubness of this region indicating better recovery when undergoing forced abstinence.Further modelling analysis of the DDT and IGT showed that patients with IGD displayed higher impulsivity during the decision-making process,and impulsivity-related parameters were negatively correlated with the hubness of right ORBsupmed.Conclusions Our findings revealed that the impulsivity-related right ORBsupmed hubness could serve as a potential biomarker of IGD and provide clues for the diagnosis and treatment of IGD.
