The random copolymer poly (1, 3-pentadiene-co-styrene) formed through cationic copolymerization using the ~ethylamine hydrochloride and hydrous aluminium chloride (Et3NHCl-AlCl3) room temperature ionic liquid as initiating agent in toluene was analyzed using IR spectra in conjunction with gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The melting points of the ionic liquids vary with the different content of IM while they still keep satisfactory conductivity and viscosity. According to the analysis of its phase diagram, the eutectic point is about 16.5C with the mass percentage of IM 29%. 展开更多

Ionic liquids possess a number of unique properties that make them ideal electrolytes. Electrochemical reduction of benzoylformic acid in room temperature ionic liquids as reaction media could be conducted with excellent performances without any additional supporting electrolyte. Electrolysis at glassy carbon electrode results in the formation of mandelic acid in 91% yield. And the electrochemical behavior of benzoylformic acid was investigated with the technique of cyclic voltammetry. 展开更多

In combination with sol-gel method, titania, subsequently dye molecules (or polymer) were successfully fabricated onto the inner wall of SBA-15. Reaction of ( S) α methylbenzylamine with Pd(OAc) 2 in anhydrous HOAc produced the chiral complex [Pd( μ O 2CMe)( S C 6H 4CHMeNH 2)] 2 (1). The complex was characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and a single crystal X ray analysis.
