An organic-inorganic hybrid sealing agent was fabricated and used in the plasma sprayed Al_(2)O_(3)-13 wt%TiO_(2)coating,and conventional silicone agent was also used for comparison.Protection performance of the coatings was comprehensively evaluated based on both anti-corrosion and anti-biofouling properties.The results reveal that the sealing treatment is remarkably useful to decrease the porosity of the coating,and the porosity of the coating sealed with the hybrid agent is only 0.035%.Immersion corrosion test and Tafel polarization test reveal that the sealed coating with the hybrid agent exhibits a better corrosion resistance by compared with the coating sealed with silicone agent.The corrosion current density i_(corr) of the hybrid agent sealed coating is only 0.7×10^(-6)A·cm^(-2).Moreover,anti-biofouling tests both in the outdoor analogue hydraulic environment and in the natural marine environment prove that the mentioned novel coating presents a better combination of corrosion resistance and anti-biofouling property by compared with the other coatings,and it could be used as a protection of metal components in the marine environment. 展开更多

The changes of the microstructure and the mechanical properties of FeCrMoCBY amorphous coatings prepared by plasma spraying after heat treatment were investigated.300,400,500 and 600℃were selected as the heat treatment temperature,and the crystallization phenomenon occurred after the heat treatment at 600℃.The crystallization products of the coating heat-treated at 600℃were a-Fe and Fe23(C,B)6.Heat treatment was beneficial to the microhardness and the bonding strength of the coatings.The microhardness of the coating heat-treated at 600℃increased obviously,and the strongest bonding strength occurred in the coating heat-treated at 500℃.The improvement of the wear resistance of the coatings could attribute to heat treatment as well,and the wear resistance of the coating heat-treated at 600℃was the optimum,compared with the coating heat-treated at 500℃. 展开更多

Negative Association between Seed Dormancy and Seed Longevity in Bread Wheat 被引量:1

Many organisms have dormant stages with an extension of their life span to increase longevity, and deeper dormancy is usually related to greater longevity. In cereal crops, seed dormancy is significantly associated with pre-harvest sprouting tolerance during seed development, as seed longevity is a valuable trait for seed banks and providing reliable crop seeds to farmers. In this study, we evaluated both seed dormancy and longevity in bread wheat based on germination and artificial aging tests. According to phenotypic clustering analysis, relative germination rate/potential and relative seedling vigor index were more effective to indicate seed longevity than relative electrical conductivity in wheat, while all the four investigated phenotypes of relative germination potential, relative germination rate, germination index and degree of seed dormancy fit well as a reflex of wheat seed dormancy. In the correlation analysis, the germination level of newly harvested grain negatively reflected its degree of seed dormancy, while the germination ability of grain after artificial aging reflected its seed longevity. However, in contrast to the current opinion in plant, seed dormancy was significantly negatively correlated to seed longevity in our study, and it was not an accidental phenomenon, for that the majority of accessions with high degree of seed dormancy had short seed longevity. To our knowledge, this is the first to report the negative association between seed dormancy and longevity in cereal crops. It would lead to further concerns about how to breed wheat with both prolonged seed longevity and deep dormancy to avoid pre-harvest sprouting. 展开更多

[Methods] The potato ro... [Objectives]The infection symptoms of cyst nematodes were found in Yuexi, Sichuan. In order to identify the pathogen, the isolated nematodes were identified by morphology and molecular biology. [Methods] The potato roots and soil around the roots were collected, the nematodes in the roots were stained and observed, and the cysts were separated by the simple floating method. The second-stage juveniles(J2 s), females and cysts were found, and they were photographed and morphologically measured. The DNA of cysts and J2 s were extracted and identified by species-specific PCR. The DNA sequences of 18 S gene, 28 S D2-D3 region and ITS region in ribosomal DNA were obtained. Sequences of some cyst nematode species were downloaded from GenBank for sequence alignment, and MrBayes 3.2.3 software was used to construct a Bayesian phylogenetic tree. [Results] The nematodes could invade hosts’ root system. The basal knobs of J2 s was nearly round and inclined backward;the average length of the stylet was shorter than 23 μm;the Granek ratio of cysts was greater than or equal to 3, which is highly consistent with that of Globodera rostochiensis. The DNA templates of three cysts and four J2 s were amplified by species-specific PCR, and a band of about 430 bp was obtained. After further sequencing, the length was 434 bp, which is consistent with G. rostochiensis. The evolutionary analysis of rDNA 18 S and 28 S showed that the cyst nematode population was a Globodera species, and further evolutionary analysis of ITS gene confirmed that the population was G. rostochiensis. [Conclusions] The nematodes are G. rostochiensis, which is a quarantine species of great concern to both domestic and import quarantine. Once introduced and colonized, it is hard to eradicate. It is necessary to establish a monitoring system as soon as possible, strengthen the quarantine, supervision and management, increase investment in G. rostochiensis research and development, and develop detection and control technologies, so as to escort the healthy and sustainable development of China’s potato industry. 展开更多

Meanwhile, the evolutionary of ST7 was also studied. Seed storability (SS), also called seed longevity, is a valuable trait for seed banks and providing reliable crop seeds to farmers, which is usually negatively correlated to lipoxygenase (LOX) activity. In this study, the seed storability of 60 accessions of CIMMYT core wheat germplasm panel (CIMCOG) was investigated through artificial aging (AA) test, including three parameters relative germination potential (RGP), relative germination rate (RGR) and relative seedling vigor index (RVI). Significant positive relationships were observed among RGP, RGR and RVI. And the genotypes at three LOX activity related QTLs/genes <em>QLpx.caas</em>-4<em>B</em>, <em>QLpx.caas</em>-1<em>AL</em> and <em>TaLOX</em>-<em>B</em>1 were also identified with published trait-associated molecular markers. For <em>QLpx.caas</em>-4<em>B</em>, a total of five alleles were detected at the locus of <em>Xgwm</em>251, and one marker-trait association was identified for RVI. Four and two alleles were detected at the loci of <em>QLpx.caas</em>-1<em>AL</em> and <em>TaLoxB</em>1 that were significantly associated with RGP, RGR and RVI, respectively. A total of 9 haplotypes were detected at three lipoxygenase activity related gene loci, and the haplotype of three lipoxygenase loci showed a significant association with RGP, RGR and RVI. The haplotype of <em>Xgwm</em>251<sub>-125<em>bp</em> </sub>+ <em>Xwmc</em>312<sub>-247<em>bp</em></sub> + <em>TaLox</em>-<em>B</em>1<em>b</em> produced seeds with the best storability in the CIMCOG, which could benefit the breeding for wheat with good seed storability. 展开更多

The development of full-spectrum photocatalysts active in the near-infrared(NIR)region has gained increasing attention for deleterious pollutant removal.The integration of plasmonic metals with semico nductors is an effective way to widen the light re sponse range of photocatalysts due to the strong light absorption and fast plasmonic energy transfer of the localized surface plasmon resonance(LSPR).In this work,the full-spectrum responsive Bi@SrTiO_(3) was prepared via facile solvothermal chemical reduction.The optimal Bi@SrTiO_(3) achieves exceptional photocatalytic Cr(VI)reduction efficiency and tetracycline degradation,realizing bi-directional promotion effects on redox reaction.According to density functional theory(DFT)simulations,the extraordinary photocatalytic performance is attributed to the tunable builtin electric field(IEF)of the Ohmic contact.The favorable adaptability in real water and high stability of BSTO-25 were proved by experime ntal results.And the po ssible photocatalytic mechanism was proposed based on theoretical calculation and experimental results.Furthermore,the non-toxicity of the BSTO-25 was evaluated by E.coli cultivation,which further proves the feasibility of treating wastewater with BSTO-25.This work provides a new perspective on constructing full-spectrum-driven photocatalysts for applications dealing with environmental remediation. 展开更多
