Using Digital Twin to Diagnose Faults in Braiding Machinery Based on IoT

The digital twin(DT)includes real-time data analytics based on the actual product or manufacturing processing parameters.Data from digital twins can predict asset maintenance requirements ahead of time.This saves money by decreasing operating expenses and asset downtime,which improves company efficiency.In this paper,a digital twin in braiding machinery based on IoT(DTBM-IoT)used to diagnose faults.When an imbalance fault occurs,the system gathers experimental data.After that,the information is sent into a digital win model of the rotor system to see whether it can quantify and locate imbalance for defect detection.It is possible to anticipate asset maintenance requirements with DT technology by IoT(Internet of Things)sensors,XR(X-Ray)capabilities,and AI-powered analytics.A DT model’s appropriate design and flexibility remain difficult because of the nonlinear dynamics and unpre-dictability inherent in the degrading process of equipment.The results indicate that the DT in braiding machinery developed allows for precise diagnostic and dynamic deterioration analysis.At least there is 37%growth in efficiency over conventional approaches. 展开更多

An appropriate controller is designed such that this type of network can be synchronized within a finite time. By constructing a proper Lyapunov function and using the finite-time stability theory, the sufficient conditions for the network to achieve finite-time synchronization are given and the finite time is estimated. Finally, the conclusions obtained are extended to the case of homogeneous complex networks with time-varying delays and uncertain disturbance. 展开更多

The effects of weather conditions are ubiquitous in practical wireless quantum communication links.Here in this work,the performances of atmospheric continuous-variable measurement-device-independent quantum key distribution(CV-MDI-QKD)under diverse weather conditions are analyzed quantitatively.According to the Mie scattering theory and atmospheric CV-MDI-QKD model,we numerically simulate the relationship between performance of CV-MDI-QKD and the rainy and foggy conditions,aiming to get close to the actual combat environment in the future.The results show that both rain and fog will degrade the performance of the CV-MDI-QKD protocol.Under the rainy condition,the larger the raindrop diameter,the more obvious the extinction effect is and the lower the secret key rate accordingly.In addition,we find that the secret key rate decreases with the increase of spot deflection distance and the fluctuation of deflection.Under the foggy condition,the results illustrate that the transmittance decreases with the increase of droplet radius or deflection distance,which eventually yields the decrease in the secret key rate.Besides,in both weather conditions,the increase of transmission distance also leads the secret key rate to deteriorate.Our work can provide a foundation for evaluating the performance evaluation and successfully implementing the atmospheric CV-MDI-QKD in the future field operation environment under different weather conditions. 展开更多

Firstly, the design of the toll plaza is mainly through analyzing the daily traffic flow, different charging mode of construction cost and waiting time of the United States. Secondly, exploring traffic conditions is divided into two kinds, based on the traffic flow speed-density flow model. Then, a fuzzy-BP neural network model is constructed, with capacity, cost, and safety factor as the input layers and performance as the output layer. It is concluded that this scheme will reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents, so it is desirable. Considering that the increase in unmanned vehicles will lead to an increase in safety performance, we increase the number of electronic toll stations to improve security performance and reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents. 展开更多

High-performance and tensile-strained germanium(Ge) p-i-n photodetector is demonstrated on Si substrate. The epitaxial Ge layers were prepared in an ultrahigh vacuum chemical vapor deposition(UHV-CVD) system using low temperature Ge buffer technique. The devices were fabricated by in situ doping and using Si as passivation layer between Ge and metal, which can improve the ohmic contact and realize the high doping. The results show that the dark current of the photodetector with diameter of 24 μm is about 2.5×10^(-7) μA at the bias voltage of –1 V, and the optical responsivity is 0.1 A/W at wavelength of 1.55 μm. The 3 dB bandwidth(BW) of 4 GHz is obtained for the photodetector with diameter of 24 μm at reverse bias voltage of 1 V. The long diffusion time of minority carrier in n-type Ge and the large contact resistance in metal/Ge contacts both affect the performance of Ge photodetectors. 展开更多
