A compound annual growth rate of data services is almost 100% in the past several years. This paper forecasts the demands of the mobile broadband development and estimates the needs for spectrum resources for next decade in the Asia-Pacific region. As a complementary to terrestrial mobile communication systems, mobile satellite communication system can fill the gaps that cannot be covered by terrestrial network, and provides an irreplaceable solution for emergency communication in disaster. To pave the road for future satellite/terrestrial integrated communication networks, ITU-R invited proposals for candidate Radio Interface Technology(RIT) for the satellite component of International Mobile Telecommunications(IMT)-Advanced. China proposed the RIT of Long Term Evolution(LTE)-satellite as a candidate to be considered as IMT-Advanced satellite technology. The submitted LTE-satellite candidate RIT is specified based on terrestrial LTEAdvanced FDD standards that are developed in 3GPP. Considering satellite requirements, a number of modifications to LTE-Advanced are made to adapt to satellite radio transmission environments. In this paper, we propose a non-cooperative differential game theory based resource allocation approach for the network security risk assessment. For the risk assessment, the resource will be used for risk assess, including response cost and response negative cost. The whole assessment process is considered as a differential game for optimal resource control. The proposed scheme can be obtained through the Nash Equilibrium. It is proved that the game theory based algorithm is applicable and the optimal resource level can be achieved based on the proposed algorithm. 展开更多

A technique using artificial neural networks trained with parameters derived from delay tap plots for optical performance monitoring in 40 Gbit/s duobinary system is demonstrated. Firstly, the optical signal is delay tap sampled to obtain two-dimensional histogram, known as delay tap plots. Secondly, the features of delay tap plots are extracted to train the feed forward, three-layer preceptor structure artificial neural networks. Finally, the outputs of trained neural network are used to monitor optical duobinary signal impairments. Simulation of optical signal noise ratio ( OSNR), chromatic dispersion (CD), and differential group delay (DGD) monitoring in 40 Gbit/s optical duo- binary system is presented. The proposed monitoring scheme can accurately identify simultaneous impairments without requiring synchronous sampling or data clock recovery. The proposed technique is simple, cost-effective and suitable for in-service distributed OPM. 展开更多

Cloud storage has the characteristics of distributed and virtual, and it makes the ownership rights and management rights of users data separated. The master-slave architecture of cloud storage has a problem of single point failure. In this paper, we provide a cloud storage architecture model based on Semantic equivalence. According to semantic matching degree, this architecture divides the nodes into node cluster by creating semantic tree and maintains system routing through semantic hypergraph. Through simulation experiments show that dividing network into semantic can enhance scalability and flexibility of the system, and it can improve the efficiency of network organization and the security of cloud storage system, at the same time, it can also reduce the cloud data storage and the delay of reading time. 展开更多

Inter-networking Mobile Number Portability(MNP) is an important way to promote the development of new telecom services.For the congestion that always occurs on the MNP query nodes,this paper proposes a Q-learning-based inter-networking mobile number portability congestion control mechanism,taking the node queue delay and query service stability as the control targets,based on the optimal decision which is made over mobile user number portability query through self-adaptive connection admission control.The simulation and analysis show that,compared with tail-drop,random early detection and other mechanisms,this mechanism realizes a smoother and more regular queue size when the load is relatively light;and maintains a relatively low and stable queue size with relatively small loss when the load is relatively heavy,thus improving QoS and increasing network throughput at lower cost. 展开更多
