Deviation model is an important model for through-flow analysis in axial compressors.Theoretical analysis in classical deviation models is developed under the assumption of onedimensional flow, which is controlled by the continuity equation. To consider three-dimensional characteristics in transonic flow, this study proposes an improved theoretical analysis method combining force analysis of the blade-to-blade flow with conventional analysis of the continuity equation.Influences of shock structures on transverse force, streamwise velocity and streamline curvature in the blade-to-blade flow are analyzed, and support the analytical modelling of density flow ratio between inlet and outlet conditions. Thus,a novel deviation model for transonic stages in axial compressors is proposed in this paper. The empirical coefficients are corrected based on the experimental data of a linear cascade, and the prediction accuracy is validated with the experimental data of a three-stage transonic compressor. The novel model provides accurate predictions for meridional flow fields at the design point and performance curves at design speed, and shows obvious improvements on classical models by Carter and C¸etin. 展开更多

Although rare earth zirconates(RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7))have garnered attention as viable candidates for thermal barrier coatings(TBCs),they suffer from low fracture toughness and accelerated calcium–magnesium–alumina–silicate(CMAS)melt corrosion at high service temperatures, which impedes their practical application. In this work,we developed a series of REAlO_(3)/RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)(RE=La,Nd,Sm,Eu,Gd,and Dy)composites with a eutectic composition that not only significantly enhanced the fracture toughness by more than 40%relative to that of RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)but also exhibited improved resistance to CMAS corrosion. The increase in toughness arises from multiple mechanisms, such as ferroelastic toughening,fine-grain strengthening, and residual stress toughening, all of which trigger more crack defects and energy consumption.Additionally, the CMAS penetration depth of the REAlO_(3)/RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)composites is approximately 36%lower than that of RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7).Al–O constituents in composites can capture CaO,SiO_(2),and MgO in CMAS melts and increase their viscosity, resulting in enhanced CMAS corrosion resistance. The thermophysical properties of the REAlO_(3)/RE_(2)Zr_(2)O_(7)composites were also investigated, and their coefficient of thermal expansion and thermal conductivity are comparable to those of 7–8 wt%Y_(2)O_(3)partially stabilized ZrO2(YSZ),indicating their potential as TBC materials. 展开更多

The interface healing mechanism of fine-grained Ni-Co-based superalloy during hot-compression bonding(HCB)is investigated.During HCB,the incompatibility of deformation between theγand the primary γ′leads to a large number of dislocation pairs(DP),stacking faults(SF),and micro-twins(MT)in the primary γ′.These defects act as fast channels for elemental diffusion, leading to supersaturation of the primary γ′and promoting the growth of the γ-shell.On the one hand, the primary γ′with a γ-shell moves towards the bonding interface due to anomalous yielding phenomena of the primary γ′and plastic flow during HCB process. The increase in the number of defects leads to the growth of γ-γ′heterogeneous epitaxial recrystallization(HERX)grain with coherent structure at the bonding interface, which promotes the bulge of the interface grain boundaries(IGBs).On the other hand, the nucleation and growth of a necklace-like distribution of discontinuous dynamic recrystallization(DDRX)grain at the interface lead to the healing of IGBs.With the synergistic action of DDRX and HERX,the mechanical properties of Ni-Co-based superalloy joints through HCB achieve the same level as the base material. This finding further enriches the theory of interface healing in HCB. 展开更多

Axial Fuel Staging(AFS)technology is an advanced low-emission combustion method in modem gas turbine, which divides the combustor into two axially arranged combustion zones. For revealing the characteristics of axial staged combustion,an industrial-grade combustor was designed and built. The distribution of temperature and velocity field in the combustor was presented with numerical simulation. And an Atmospheric Combustor Test Rig for axial staged combustion was built. The flow resistance characteristics of the combustor were measured at first. Then the effects of the equivalent ratio and the preheating temperature on the pollutant emission and combustion instability were investigated. The results show that the total pressure recovery coefficient in cold state is always above 98%;starting the secondary combustion at low load can reduce NO emissions by 50%,and can suppress the combustion oscillation amplitude of the combustor. At the design point with φ=0.62 and preheating temperature=400°C,NO emission and CO emission are 15.68 and 4.22 mg/m^(3)(@15%O_(2)). 展开更多
