To present the authors experience with the use of saphenous venofasciocutaneous flap to treat soft-tissue defect in pelvic limb.Methods The flap was designed according to the size,shape and site of the recipient along...To present the authors experience with the use of saphenous venofasciocutaneous flap to treat soft-tissue defect in pelvic limb.Methods The flap was designed according to the size,shape and site of the recipient along an axial line between the superior border of internal malleolus and the internal condyle of femoral bone.seven patients with pelvic limb soft-tissue defect were treated with the distally based sphenous venofasciocutaneous flap.Results Good coverage of the defects occurred except partial necrosis in one patient.Conclusion The major advantages of the distally based saphenous venofasciocutaneous flap are its easy dissection and its reliable blood supply.This flap can be effectively used in repair of pelvic limb soft-tissue defect.4 refs.展开更多
