贺兰山孔兹岩系的变质时代及其对华北克拉通西部陆块演化的制约 被引量:56

贺兰山孔兹岩系作为华北克拉通西部孔兹岩带的重要组成部分,其变质时代问题一直悬而未决。利用SHRIMP锆石U-Pb定年技术,对贺兰山孔兹岩系中3个代表性富铝片麻岩(石榴堇青钾长片麻岩、石榴堇青二长片麻岩与石榴黑云斜长片麻岩)样品进行... 贺兰山孔兹岩系作为华北克拉通西部孔兹岩带的重要组成部分,其变质时代问题一直悬而未决。利用SHRIMP锆石U-Pb定年技术,对贺兰山孔兹岩系中3个代表性富铝片麻岩(石榴堇青钾长片麻岩、石榴堇青二长片麻岩与石榴黑云斜长片麻岩)样品进行了精确定年。发现这3种岩石虽处不同层位,但其碎屑锆石年龄却非常集中,各测点^(207)Pb/^(206)Pb年龄总体变化在2.0~2.1Ga之间,加权平均年龄则在2017~2040Ma之间。这些碎屑锆石都具有岩浆结构特征,反映当时曾存在大规模花岗质岩浆活动,所成岩体为孔兹岩系沉积提供了充足物源。另有少量大于2.5Ga的碎屑锆石(2520~2949Ma),表明本区存在太古代岩浆活动记录。本区石榴堇青二长片麻岩中发育典型的变质增生锆石,其成因很可能与黑云母的脱水熔融反应有关。利用该锆石确定贺兰山孔兹岩系的变质时代为1950±8Ma。该时代与东部大青山、乌拉山孔兹岩系变质时代相同,表明华北克拉通西部的阴山地块与鄂尔多斯地块大体是以平行的方式正面拼贴到一起的。 展开更多

桐柏杂岩位于秦岭与大别造山带之间,南北两侧为NWW-SEE向延伸的含榴辉岩高压变质地体,其构造就位过程及其与高压变质地体的构造关系为地质学家们所关注。本文研究表明,所谓的桐柏杂岩实际上是一个早白垩世花岗质片麻岩杂岩体,其内包裹... 桐柏杂岩位于秦岭与大别造山带之间,南北两侧为NWW-SEE向延伸的含榴辉岩高压变质地体,其构造就位过程及其与高压变质地体的构造关系为地质学家们所关注。本文研究表明,所谓的桐柏杂岩实际上是一个早白垩世花岗质片麻岩杂岩体,其内包裹一定数量的三叠纪中高级变质岩石。桐柏杂岩南北两条边界韧性剪切带具有相反的运动学指向,分别为大型右行和左行韧性剪切带,其形成时代为131Ma。这两条韧性剪切带中的剪切面理分别朝SSW和NNE向倾斜,韧性剪切带及杂岩体内部发育的拉伸线理均稳定地朝SEE方向缓倾伏。而在杂岩体的东端发育低角度近南北向韧性剪切变形带,其糜棱面理朝SEE方向低角度缓倾斜,矿物拉伸线理也朝SEE方向低角度缓倾伏,运动学标志指示东侧地质体朝295°~310°的方向逆冲。因此,桐柏杂岩实际上被一个顺造山带的韧性剪切带所围限,这个韧性剪切带及杂岩体内部韧性变形运动学指示了一个早白垩世由东向西的低角度抬升过程,而这一过程直接导致了含榴辉岩高压变质地体沿着造山带的方向从地壳深部抬升到近地表。这一研究结果对理解和认识桐柏-大别-苏鲁地区高压-超高压变质地体的晚期抬升过程具有重要意义。 展开更多

东南极普里兹带是一条经受格林维尔期和泛非期高级构造热事件影响的多相变质带,其构造演化过程与罗迪尼亚和冈瓦纳超大陆的形成密切相关。新的岩石学和年代学资料表明,普里兹带中的格林维尔期高级变质作用是区域性的,并经历了>970Ma... 东南极普里兹带是一条经受格林维尔期和泛非期高级构造热事件影响的多相变质带,其构造演化过程与罗迪尼亚和冈瓦纳超大陆的形成密切相关。新的岩石学和年代学资料表明,普里兹带中的格林维尔期高级变质作用是区域性的,并经历了>970Ma和930~900Ma两个演化阶段(期),变质条件达到相对高温高压的麻粒岩相。格林维尔期造山作用起始于活动大陆边缘或岛弧环境下的岩浆增生,最后发展到陆陆碰撞,从而使印度、东南极西陆块和非洲的卡拉哈里克拉通拼合在一起,构成了罗迪尼亚超大陆的重要组成部分之一。普里兹带中的泛非期高级变质作用并不象前人认为的那样只发生在中低压麻粒岩相条件下,而是达到高压麻粒岩相,并具有近等温减压的顺时针P-T演化轨迹。格林维尔期变质先驱的普遍存在说明泛非期碰撞造山事件主要叠加在印度-南极陆块东缘的基底杂岩之上,所以其主缝合线的位置应该在现今普里兹带的东南方向,并可能向南极内陆延伸到甘布尔采夫冰下山脉。对不同类型岩石的精细定年揭示,普里兹带中泛非期造山作用过程从570Ma一直持续到490Ma,这与东非造山带的晚期碰撞阶段大致相吻合。因此,冈瓦纳超大陆的最后拼合可能是通过西冈瓦纳、印度-南极陆块和澳大利亚-南极陆块等三个陆块的近于同期碰撞来完成的。 展开更多

Three zircon ages from the diabase of the Aoyougou ophiolite previously put into Upper Lithologic Formation of the Zhulongguan Group are (1 840±2), (1 783±2) and (1 784±2) Ma respectively, whereas the zircon ages from the welded breccias in the Zhulongguan Group are (733±7), (738±4) and (604±6) Ma respectively. These results show that they should belong to the bottom of the middle Proterozoic and the upper part of upper Proterozoic respectively. 展开更多

Two-pyroxene-bearing granulites were discovered for the first time in the Hercynian-Indosinian metamorphic belt of the southern Qinling Mountains. The granulites occur in the lower part of the Fuping complex and are dominated by intermediate-acidic rocks intercalated with a small amount of bands and lenses of basic granulites. The main metamorphic minerals include orthopyroxene, clinopyroxene, biotite, plagioclase and quartz, and orthopyroxenes are often retrogressively transformed into amphiboles. The metamorphic conditions have been estimated to be %T%=720-780℃ and %P%=0.6 GPa. The granulite-bearing Fuping complex probably belongs to early Proterozoic in age. Whether it occurs as the crystalline basement of the southern Qinling Hercynian-Indosinian orogenic belt or as a thrusted slice in the collisional process needs further study. 展开更多

Ultrahigh pressure (UHP) metamorphism refers to metamorphism that has occurred at pressures for the stability of coesite. The polycrystalline quartz inclusions showing the characteristic texture within garnets of eclogites indicates the pre-existence of coesites under the peak meta-morphic condition. The unusual exsolution textures in om-pacites and apatites, and the pressure estimations of phengite-bearing eclogites have been taken to provide further proof of eclogite formation under the UHP conditions. Combined with the fact that coesites have been observed in country rocks of eclogites in North Qaidam Mountains, another UHP metamorphic belt cut by the large-scale strike-slip fault in the Altun-North Qaidam area of China is confirmed. 展开更多

In order to reveal the nature of deep crust fluids, the phase relations of NaCI-saturated solution at high temperatures and pressures in a hydrothermal diamond anvil cell (HDAC)are investigated. Salinity of the solutions observed is about 35%—50%. The temperatures for the observation range from 25 to 850℃ and the pressures from 1 atm to about 1 GPa. A supercritical single phase, liquid phase (L), vapor phase (V), solid phase (H), L + H, H + V + L and the near-critical phases L + V can be observed. A two-phase (L + V) immiscibility field for the NaCI solution has been discovered to lie in a wide range of temperatures and pressures:from 250( ± 3) to 721℃. Within this field there are two parts, where the upper high temperature part of the two-phase regions is very unstable in character. It is possible to observe a 'critical phenomenon'. In some of our experiments an 'explosion' almost constantly occurred at the interface between the liquid and vapor phases, making the interface obscure, and a 展开更多

Under the same conditions of external force, simulations on differences of deformational energy in structural zones, which have different deformational behavior, and that on the distribution of the differences have been carried out by means of finite-element method. Shear deformational energy U_w is higher than volume deformational energy U_T by about one order of magnitude, and deformationat energy U_B( = U_w + U_T) and U_w show a trend to be larger→largest→small in quantity in structural zones of different deformational properties, which correspond to compressive, shear, tensile zones, respectively, but U_T shows a trend to be large→small gradually. This has a considerable significance in the study of tectonic heat and mineral liquid migration in association with the research on tectonic additional hydrostatic pressure. 展开更多

The differences of thermal conduction and its temperature-varying track of the heat source body at various structural environments have been studied. Hypothetically, geologic heat source body is cut successively into several segregative bodies with a fixed cubage. With the segmented number increasing, the conductive surface area of heat source body begins to get larger, which separately is similar to the heat geologic body in different tectonic zones that has a various enclosed coefficient η(η=S<sub>0</sub>/sum from i=(1,n)(S<sub>i</sub>)). Finite-element simulation result shows that the thermal conduction speed of spreading from the heat source body to its wall rock is slow→higher→highest, when heat source bodies are situated respectively at compressive, shear and tensile deformation zones, corresponding rates of their temperature drop are low→higher→highest. New helium isotopic data of ores and rocks from the Altay orogenic zone, Xinjiang,China are reported, which show that the pegmatites from No. 3 vein in the Keketuohai area have high <sup>3</sup>He/<sup>4</sup>He ratios up to 1 .795 x 10<sup>-6</sup> and 2.54 x 10<sup>-6</sup>. Such a result suggests that the metallogenic process of rare metal deposits in the Altay orogenic zone might be related to mantle degassing. 展开更多

Eclogite was first discovered at the northern margin of the Qaidam Basin in this study. It occurs as pods in the gneiss sequence of Middle to Upper Proterozoic age and is mainly composed of garnet, omphacite, phengite and rutile. The garnets contain 44%-62% of almandine, 15%-33% of grossular and 12%-30% of pyrope molecules, and the omphacites contain 40%-46% of jadeite. Applying garnet_clinopyroxene thermometry and jadeite geobarometry, the peak conditions of eclogite facies metamorphism occurred at about (722±123)℃ and at the pressure of up to c. 22 ×10 8 Pa. 展开更多

The results demonstrate that all samples contain trace amount of structural OH. Clinopyroxenes from Nushan show four groups of absorption bands, in which, 3 472-3 506 cm -1 is the major characteristic one. It is suggested that the position of major band is probably related to Al content: the position of major characteristic band for high_Al samples is around 3 470 cm -1 , whereas that for low_Al samples around 3 620 cm -1 . 展开更多
