When the two opposite needle tips are twirled to a certain degree, the soreness, warm, numbness, and distending needling sensation tends be connected in a line, forming a rather strong needling sensation. After such manipulation for some time, the needles are retained for 30 min., during which the needle manipulation is given 3-5 times at intervals. This needling treatment is given once daily.
