Exploration of the “Four-Three-Four” Internship and Training Mode in Higher Vocational Colleges Under the Modern Vocational Education System

This article mainly introduces the innovative internship and training model of vocational colleges,including five aspects such as“four-party collaboration,three-stage progression,four-way integration,value-added evaluation,and double selection and promotion.”The model aims to improve students’practical skills and professional quality to better adapt to market demand and social development.The article also presents the prospects of the future internship and training model,including strengthening cooperation and communication with industry enterprises,focusing on students’personalized development and practical skill cultivation,and establishing a scientific and objective evaluation and feedback mechanism.

The Influence of Body Investment on Depression in Chinese College Students:A Moderated Mediating Effect

An individual’s perception,attitude,feeling and behavior about their body are important factors for mental health(depression).This study aims to explore the impact of body investment on depression,and the role of self-efficacy and self-esteem in this connection.A hypothetical model about the relationship between body investment,selfefficacy,self-esteem and depression was tested.Using convenient sampling methods,a self-rated cross-sectional survey comprised of paper-based and online modes was conducted among 1,164 college students in Yunnan Province,China from July 2021 to August 2021.The data collection used the body investment scale,self-efficacy scale,self-esteem scale and depression scale.The results show that there is a low to moderate positive correlation(ranging between-0.11 and-0.59)between the research variables.The body investment of college students has a negative predictive effect(B=16.23,SE=0.65)on depression.This connection is also regulated by the mediating role of self-esteem and self-efficacy.All these factors explain 37.83%variability of research participation.These findings show how body investment affects the depressive state of college students.Further,these results help to demonstrate that self-efficacy and self-esteem are academically important for optimizing students’depression,so as to promote a good mental state.

Protective Factors for Loneliness among Adolescents during COVID-19: Role of the Interpersonal Relationships and Sibling Status

This study examined the moderating effects of parent-child,same-sex,opposite-sex and teacher-student relation-ships between sibling status and loneliness during COVID-19.A total of 1,591 adolescents in China completed the study questionnaires which assessed the aforementioned variables.The results showed that same-sex and teacher-student relationships moderated the association between sibling status and loneliness.The results indicated that among participants with good same-sex relationships during COVID-19,compared to non-only-children parti-cipants,the only-children participants were more likely to experience a lower level of loneliness.However,parti-cipants with poor same-sex relationships experienced similar level of loneliness regardless of whether they had siblings.Thesefindings would be helpful for parents,teachers,and other stakeholders to take effective measures to reduce loneliness feelings among Chinese adolescents.

Intension, Current Implementation and Improvement Path of Instructional Leadership: A school Case of Hong Kong

This paper aims to analyze the implementation status of instructional leadership of a HK primary school that benefits in mid-ranking and mainly uses instructional leadership to develop their curriculums.Instructional leadership is the result of introducing leadership concepts into the teaching field,and it reflects the changing trend of school management to a certain extent.At present,the research on instructional leadership is limited to the principal's leadership,which limits the overall function of instructional leadership.By investigating the actuality of school and the implementation of school policies and programs,the paper deeply analyzes the existed problems in a Hong Kong school and offers optimization suggestions:strengthen the school distributive leadership construction,promote the professional development of teachers and curriculums,establish a diversified evaluation system,develop an organizational culture of democratic cooperation and improve the curriculum leadership of principals.

gscaLCA in R: Fitting Fuzzy Clustering Analysis Incorporated with Generalized Structured Component Analysis

Clustering analysis identifying unknown heterogenous subgroups of a population(or a sample)has become increasingly popular along with the popularity of machine learning techniques.Although there are many software packages running clustering analysis,there is a lack of packages conducting clustering analysis within a structural equation modeling framework.The package,gscaLCA which is implemented in the R statistical computing environment,was developed for conducting clustering analysis and has been extended to a latent variable modeling.More specifically,by applying both fuzzy clustering(FC)algorithm and generalized structured component analysis(GSCA),the package gscaLCA computes membership prevalence and item response probabilities as posterior probabilities,which is applicable in mixture modeling such as latent class analysis in statistics.As a hybrid model between data clustering in classifications and model-based mixture modeling approach,fuzzy clusterwise GSCA,denoted as gscaLCA,encompasses many advantages from both methods:(1)soft partitioning from FC and(2)efficiency in estimating model parameters with bootstrap method via resolution of global optimization problem from GSCA.The main function,gscaLCA,works for both binary and ordered categorical variables.In addition,gscaLCA can be used for latent class regression as well.Visualization of profiles of latent classes based on the posterior probabilities is also available in the package gscaLCA.This paper contributes to providing a methodological tool,gscaLCA that applied researchers such as social scientists and medical researchers can apply clustering analysis in their research.

Clinical Experience on Treatment of Cervical Spondylosis with Combined Acupuncture, Tuina and Psychotherapy

Cervical spondylosis is common in the middle-aged or senile population and can greatly affect theirbody-mind health. The common treatmentmethods include traction, tuina, acupuncture andmedication. However, psychological factors, suchas anxiety, depression or fear are often neglectedduring the treatment. The authors investigated theeffect of combined psycho- therapy, acupunctureand tuina on the cervical spondylosis.

A Study on Human-Computer Interaction Mechanism in an Intelligent Tutoring System

Discussion is a common and important learning process.Involvement of a virtual agent can provide adaptive support for the discussion process.Argumen-tative knowledge construction is beneficial to learners’acquisition of knowledge,but the effectiveness of argumentative scaffolding in existing studies is not consistent.Based on an intelligent discussion system,a total of 47 undergraduate students took part in the experiment and they were assigned to three different conditions:content-related plus content-independent scaffolding condition,content-related scaffolding condition,and the control condition.Under the content-related and content-independent scaffolding condition,the computer agent provided an idea from semantically different categories(content-related scaffolding)according to the automatic categorization of the current contributions,and further inquired the participants about their attitudes and reasons(content-independent scaffolding).Under the condition of content-related scaffolding condition,the virtual agent only provided semantically different viewpoints.Under the control condition,the subjects expressed their opinion independently without the participation of the virtual agent.Findings revealed that compared with the control group,when the virtual agent provided semantically different ideas(content-related scaffolding),the discussion breadth(number of categories)was improved and the subjects felt that they had a more comprehensive understanding of the problem.Compared with the content-related scaffolding condition,when the virtual agent provided semantically different ideas and further asked about the attitudes and reasons,the subjects expressed more agreement with these views,but mentioned fewer categories during the discussion.This study suggests that the content-related scaffolding can facilitate the cognitive processing effect relevant to the topic of discussion.When the content independent scaffolding is added,it can promote the argumentative processing,but may have a negative effect on the cognitive processing related to the topic discussed.
