Objective:To systematically evaluate the intervention effect of virtual reality technology on patients recovering from traumatic brain injury. Methods:The computer retrieved CNKI,VIP,Wan Fang,Embase,The Cochrane Library and PubMed database, and collected randomized controlled trials of virtual reality technology combined with routine rehabilitation training and simple routine rehabilitation training on patients recovering from traumatic brain injury. The retrieval period was from the establishment of the database to July 2019.Two researchers independently screened the literature, extracted the data and evaluated the risk of bias in the included studies.RevMan 5.3 software was used for analysis. Results:A total of 7 articles were included.Meta-analysis results showed that virtual reality technology could significantly improve balance function(mean difference(MD)=3.72,95%confidence interval(CI)(2.61,4.83),P<0.001),daily living ability(MD=11.87,95%CI(10.42,13.32),P<0.001),and exercise ability(MD=3.83,95%CI(2.30,5.36),P<0.001).In the aspect of posture control ability, the trajectory motion length, trajectory velocity and peripheral area were improved(standardised mean difference(SMD)=0.80,95%CI(1.19,0.41),P<0.0001),(SMD=0.95,95%CI(1.45,0.45),P=0.0002),(SMD=0.69,95%CI(1.11,0.26),P=0.001).Conclusion:Virtual reality technology can significantly improve the balance function, daily living ability, motor function and postural control ability of patients recovering from cerebral trauma.Limited by the quantity and quality of the included studies, the above conclusions need to be verified by more high-quality studies. 展开更多

Objective:This study aimed to evaluate the effects of progressive relaxation therapy on patients with maintenance hemodialysis. Methods:A literature search was performed using PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library,China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and Wanfang Data from inception to July 2020.Randomized controlled trials on the use of progressive muscle relaxation therapy in maintenance hemodialysis patients were selected. The primary outcomes were the depression and anxiety.Secondary outcomes included fatigue and sleep. Two reviewers proceeded study selection and quality assessment of included trials and performed heterogeneity of included studies before meta-analysis.Results:A total of 8 studies, which comprised a total of 668 participants were included in the final meta-analysis.The results showed that progressive muscle relaxation therapy could reduce the depression of patients(MD=-5.11,95%CI:-6.74 to-3.48,P<0.001),reduce the anxiety(SMD=-1.27,95%CI:-1.73 to-0.82,P<0.001),relieve fatigue symptoms(MD=-0.87,95%CI:-1.20 to-0.53,P<0.001),improve the sleep quality(MD=-1.69,95%CI:-1.95 to-1.42,P<0.001).Conclusion:Progressive muscle relaxation therapy has positive effects on depression, anxiety, fatigue and sleep quality in patients with maintenance hemodialysis. While concurrent evidence is insufficient, and further studies of high quality are needed to strengthen the conclusion. 展开更多

Total hip replacement(THR)is an artificial hip joint prosthesis that replaces the damaged femoral head. For the good therapeutic effects,it has been widely used, while also brings a great negative problems at same time, especially the psychological problems. After THR,the patient has obvious motility symptoms of fear of movement, and shows a series of manifestations such as fear of activity and fall. However, for people with high self-efficacy,the degree of activity and fear is lower, with a good mental state. The effects of self-efficacy on rehabilitation behavior and prognosis of patients with THR were discussed from the aspects of activity ability, psychological state and quality of life. This paper sorts out the current situation of intervention research on self-efficacy of THR patients, and provides theoretical basis for further improving the self-efficacy of THR patients.Through these studies to understand how to improve patients'self-efficacy and reduce the fear of activity, obtain postoperative activity related knowledge, finally promote the limb functional recovery. 展开更多

Background: To evaluate the effects of home versus centre-based pulmonary rehabilitation on exercise capacity, quality of life, and dyspnoea scores in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease by meta-analysis. Methods: We searched the Cochrane library, Embase, PubMed and CINAHL (EBSCO) up to April 2020 without language restriction to collect randomized controlled trials of home versus centre-based pulmonary rehabilitation for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Literatures screening, risk of bias assessment and data extraction for the included studies were conducted by two reviewers independently. The data analysis was carried out by RevMan 5.3 software. Results: A total of 9 studies, which comprised a total of 859 participants were included in the meta-analysis. Centre and home-based pulmonary rehabilitation were equally effective at improving exercise capacity (MD = 2.30, 95% CI: 12.02 to 7.42, P > 0.05) and dyspnoea scores (MD = 0.15, 95% CI: 0.46 to 0.17, P > 0.05). They were also equally effective at improving health-related quality of life on the chronic respiratory questionnaire (dyspnea: MD = 0.08, 95% CI: 0.30 to 0.13, P > 0.05;fatigue: MD = 0.19, 95% CI: 0.45 to 0.07, P > 0.05;emotional function: MD = 0.18, 95% CI, 0.40 to 0.40, P > 0.05 and mastery: MD = 0.13, 95% CI: 0.38 to 0.11, P > 0.05), and on the St George's respiratory questionnaire (MD = 1.77, 95% CI: 4.54 to 0.99, P > 0.05). Conclusion: Home and centre-based pulmonary rehabilitation has similar effects on exercise capacity, quality of life, and dyspnoea scores in individuals with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Home-based pulmonary rehabilitation has the potential to be an alternative to centre-based pulmonary rehabilitation. 展开更多
