Alfvén ion cyclotron waves(ACWs)and kinetic Alfvén waves(KAWs)are found to exist at<0.3 au observed by Parker Solar Probe in Alfvénic slow solar winds.To examine the statistical properties of the bac...Alfvén ion cyclotron waves(ACWs)and kinetic Alfvén waves(KAWs)are found to exist at<0.3 au observed by Parker Solar Probe in Alfvénic slow solar winds.To examine the statistical properties of the background parameters for ACWs and KAWs and related wave disturbances,both wave events observed by Parker Solar Probe are selected and analyzed.The results show that there are obvious differences in the background and disturbance parameters between ACWs and KAWs.ACW events have a relatively higher occurrence rate but with a total duration slightly shorter than KAW events.The median background magnetic field magnitude and the related background solar wind speed of KAW events are larger than those of ACWs.The distributions of the relative disturbances of the proton velocity,proton temperature,the proton number density,andβcover wider ranges for ACW events than for KAW events.The results may be important for the understanding of the nature and characteristics of Alfvénic slow solar wind fluctuations at ion scales near the Sun,and provide the information of the background field and plasma parameters and the wave disturbances of ACWs and KAWs for further relevant theoretical modeling or numerical simulations.展开更多

Schiff<sup> </sup>base synthesis is usually acid catalyzed and it usually requires refluxing the mixture of aldehydes and amine in ethanolic solution. Synthesis and characterization of Schiff base ligands ...Schiff<sup> </sup>base synthesis is usually acid catalyzed and it usually requires refluxing the mixture of aldehydes and amine in ethanolic solution. Synthesis and characterization of Schiff base ligands derived from substituted amine and salicylaldehyde and their complexes (Cu<sup>2+</sup>, Co<sup>2+</sup>) are reported. The ligands and ligand-complexes were characterized by melting point, FTIR, CHN-elemental analysis and UV-Visible analysis. The UV-Visible and elemental analysis of complexes established (1:2) mole ratio (M:L). The stability constant and thermodynamic parameters (K, ΔG, ΔH, ΔS) were determined at different temperature (30 - 40)°C which established that the metal-complexes were very stable. The creation of 3D nanofibers offering desirable functions for bone regeneration is developed due to the latest improvisations to the electrospinning technique.Synthetic polymers are among the best choices for medical...The creation of 3D nanofibers offering desirable functions for bone regeneration is developed due to the latest improvisations to the electrospinning technique.Synthetic polymers are among the best choices for medical usage due to their lower costs,high tensile properties,and ease of spinnability compared to natural polymers.In this communication,we report a series of interventions to polymers modified with Mg-based fillers for ideal tissue engineering applications.The literature survey indicated that these filler materials(e.g.,nano-sized particles)enhanced biocompatibility,antibacterial activity,tensile strength,and anti-corrosive properties.This review discusses electrospinning parameters,properties,and applications of the poly(ε-caprolactone),poly(lactic acid),poly(3-hydroxybutyric acid-co-3-hydroxy valeric acid),polyurethane,and poly(vinyl pyrrolidone)nanofibers when modified with Mg-based fillers.This report encourages researchers to use synthetic polymers with Mg as fillers and validate them for tissue engineering applications.展开更多
