In some sub-Saharan African countries, including Burundi, th...Road transport is currently one of the most important sectors affecting sustainable development and the improvement of the population’s standard of living. In some sub-Saharan African countries, including Burundi, the transport structure is vulnerable, under attack, or even damaged or destroyed. This is prompting decision-makers to look for every possible way to enable dynamic management of the road system, as well as the collection of tax revenues attributable to this sector. To reach this stage, we postulate that the introduction of the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) into the road tax and fee collection process would make a significant contribution (road safety, zero cash on silk Safety Officers, payment of a fine, eradication of road corruption etc.) to the digitization of the various transport sectors. As far as the city of Bujumbura is concerned (our field of intervention), the applicability of the present System could thus meet the expectations of the decision-maker, certain drivers and, by the same token, contribute to the promotion of Digital Technology in Burundi.展开更多

This test system aims at obtaining characteristic parameters of damage for chosen conducting sola to the selected insulator. Experimental results show that thickness and electric conductivity of pollutant layer over insulators are the main parameters in damage evaluation. The flashover voltage decreases with increase of thickness and/or conductivity. These results provide a better basis on further revealing the damaging nature of conducting sol materials.展开更多

Emphasis on the improvement of initiation system, experiments and three dimensional numerical investigations were carried out. Simulation results of side three initiation points fit experiments well. Objective: The present study aimed to analyze the association rules of Fufang Kushen injection in combination with other traditional Chinese medicine ( TCM) or modern medications in treating cervical cancer (CC) based...Objective: The present study aimed to analyze the association rules of Fufang Kushen injection in combination with other traditional Chinese medicine ( TCM) or modern medications in treating cervical cancer (CC) based on the electrical medical records extracted from real-world hospital information system. Methods: The clinicians’ prescriptions regarding to the combination of with TCM or modern medications were from hospital information system electronic medical data integration warehouse established by the Institute of Basic Medical Research of Chinese Medicine, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, which integrated the hospital information system data of 22 hospitals. The association rules of the drug characteristics were analyzed through Apriori algorithm. Results: A total of 839 patients with CC were included. We found that is often combined with prescriptions which could clear heat, remove toxicity, supplement Qi. also combined with chemotherapeutic drugs, immunomodulatory drugs, 5-HT receptor blockers, and glucocorticoids. The combination presents a specific law. Conclusion: Fufang Kushen injection combined with hepatoprotective drugs, immunomodulators and glucocorticoids is often used to treat cervical cancer.展开更多
Objective To provide reference for the relevant departments to train and manage online drug sellers.Methods A questionnaire was conducted among 124 grass-roots drug sellers from 13 online drug sales enterprises,includ...Objective To provide reference for the relevant departments to train and manage online drug sellers.Methods A questionnaire was conducted among 124 grass-roots drug sellers from 13 online drug sales enterprises,including Tmall Medical Center and JD Home Health Channel and 265 teachers and students from 33 pharmaceutical colleges and universities.The problems were analyzed in this paper and some specific suggestions were made.Results and Conclusion 389 questionnaires were sent out and 371 effective questionnaires were recovered.The effective recovery rate was 95.37%.The universities surveyed mainly recruited undergraduates,accounting for 66.7%of the total.Most of the employees in the online drug sales enterprises surveyed graduated from secondary school or universities,accounting for 91.9%.The number of graduates surveyed who were willing to work in the online drug sales enterprises was low,accounting for only 8.67%.Besides,it was difficult for online drug sellers to be promoted,71.7%of the respondents had no promotion opportunities.In view of the main problems such as the low professional quality of online drug sellers,their low willingness to engage in online drug sales,and few promotion opportunities,it is suggested the reform of licensed pharmacists should be deepened to improve the number and quality of online drug sellers.Meanwhile,we should learn the advanced experience from developed countries.In addition,the income and welfare of the online drug sellers should be improved.Lastly,a unified management platform must be set up for online drug sellers by technical means.展开更多
