ON THE EXISTENCE AND UNIQUENESS THEOREMS OF SOLUTIONS FOR THE SYSTEMS OF MIXED MONOTONE OPERATOR EQUATIONS WITH APPLICATIONS

The existence, uniqueness and non-symmetric iterative approximation of solutions for a class of systems of mixed monotone operator equations are discussed. As an application, we utilize, the results presented in this paper to study the existence and uniqueness problems of common solutions for a class of systems of functional equations arising in dynamic programming of multistage decision processes and a class of systems of nonlinear integral equation. The results obtained in this paper not only answer an open question suggested in [3] but also generalize the corresponding results of [1],[2].

ON THE ITERATIVE APPROXIMATION PROBLEM OF FIXED OINTS FOR ASYMPTOTICALLY NON-EXPANSIVE TYPE MAPPINGS IN BANACH SPACES

Some iterative approximation theorems of fixed points for asymptotically nonexpansive type mappings in Banach spaces are obtained.

ANALYTIC INVARIANT CURVES OF A NONLINEAR SECOND ORDER DIFFERENCE EQUATION

This article studies the existence of analytic invariant curves for a nonlinear second order difference equation which was modeled from macroeconomics of the business cycle. The author not only discusses the case of the eigenvalue off the unit circle S^1 and the case on S^1 with the Diophantine condition but also considers the case of the eigenvalue at a root of the unity, which obviously violates the Diophantine condition.

BLOW-UP AND GLOBAL EXISTENCE FOR A COUPLED SYSTEM OF DEGENERATE PARABOLIC EQUATIONS IN A BOUNDED DOMAIN

This article deals with the conditions that ensure the blow-up phenomenon or its absence for solutions of the system ut= △u^l ＋ u^p1v^q1 and vt = △v ^m ＋ u^p2 v^q2 with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. The results depend crucially on the sign of the difference p2q1 - （l -p1）（m- q2）, the initial data, and the domain Ω.

Asymptotical consensus of fractional-order multi-agent systems with current and delay states

In this paper,we study some new fractional-order multi-agent systems with current and delay states (FMASCD).Using the generalized Nyquist's stability criterion and Gerschgorin's circle theorem,we obtain the bounded input-bounded output (BIBO) stability and asymptotical consensus of the FMASCD under mild conditions.Moreover,we give some numerical examples to illustrate our main results.

CONVERGENCE OF ISHIKAWA TYPE ITERATIVE SEQUENCE WITH ERRORS FOR QUASI-CONTRACTIVE MAPPINGS IN CONVEX METRIC SPACES

Some convergence theorems of Ishikawa type iterative sequence with errors for nonlinear general quasi-contractive mapping in convex metric spaces are proved. The results not only extend and improve the corresponding results of L. B. Ciric, Q. H. Liu, H. E. Rhoades and H. K. Xu, et al., but also give an affirmative answer to the open question of Rhoades-Naimpally- Singh in convex metric spaces.

SYSTEM OF GENERALIZED VECTOR VARIATIONAL INEQUALITIES

In this paper, the authors introduce and study system of generalized vector variational inequalities. Under suitable conditions, the existence of solutions for system of generalized vector variational inequalities is presented by Kakutani-Fan-Glicksberg fixed point theorem.

A FIXED POINT APPROACH TO THE STABILITY OF A GENERALIZED APOLLONIUS TYPE QUADRATIC FUNCTIONAL EQUATION

Using the fixed point method, this article proves the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of a generalized Apollonius type quadratic functional equation in Banach spaces. The conditions of these results are demonstrated by the quadratic functional equation of Apollonius type.

DISAPPEARANCE OF INTERFACES FOR DEGENERATE PARABOLIC EQUATIONS WITH VARIABLE DENSITY AND ABSORPTION

In this article, the authors deal with the Cauchy problem of a nonlinear parabolic equation with variable density and absorption. By using energy methods, the authors prove that the interfaces can disappear in finite time under some assumptions on the density functions.

Unified analysis for stabilized methods of low-order mixed finite elements for stationary Navier-Stokes equations

A unified analysis is presented for the stabilized methods including the pres- sure projection method and the pressure gradient local projection method of conforming and nonconforming low-order mixed finite elements for the stationary Navier-Stokes equa- tions. The existence and uniqueness of the solution and the optimal error estimates are proved.

Finite-time consensus of multi-agent systems driven by hyperbolic partial differential equations via boundary control

The leaderless and leader-following finite-time consensus problems for multiagent systems(MASs)described by first-order linear hyperbolic partial differential equations(PDEs)are studied.The Lyapunov theorem and the unique solvability result for the first-order linear hyperbolic PDE are used to obtain some sufficient conditions for ensuring the finite-time consensus of the leaderless and leader-following MASs driven by first-order linear hyperbolic PDEs.Finally,two numerical examples are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Existence of solutions for implicit fuzzy differential inclusions

A class of implicit fuzzy differential inclusions （IFDIs） are introduced and studied. Some existence theorems under different conditions are proved with the selection theorems for the open situation and the closed situation, respectively. A viable solution for a closed IFDI is proved to exist under the tangential condition. As an application, an implicit fuzzy differential equation, which comes from the drilling dynamics in petroleum engineering, is analyzed numerically. The obtained results can improve and extend some known results for fuzzy differential inclusions （FDIs） and fuzzy differential equations （FDEs）, which might be helpful in the analysis of fuzzy dynamic systems.

Dynamic behavior of fractional order Duffing chaotic system and its synchronization via singly active control

With the increasingly deep studies in physics and technology, the dynamics of fractional order nonlinear systems and the synchronization of fractional order chaotic systems have become the focus in scientific research. In this paper, the dynamic behavior including the chaotic properties of fractional order Duffing systems is extensively inves- tigated. With the stability criterion of linear fractional systems, the synchronization of a fractional non-autonomous system is obtained. Specifically, an effective singly active control is proposed and used to synchronize a fractional order Duffing system. The nu- merical results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

BLOW-UP AND LIFE SPAN ESTIMATES FOR A CLASS OF NONLINEAR DEGENERATE PARABOLIC SYSTEM WITH TIME-DEPENDENT COEFFICIENTS

This paper deals with the singularity and global regularity tor a class oI nonlinear porous medium system with time-dependent coefficients under homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. First, by comparison principle, some global regularity results are established. Secondly, using some differential inequality technique, we investigate the blow-up solution to the initial-boundary value problem. Furthermore, upper and lower bounds for the maximum blow-up time under some appropriate hypotheses are derived as long as blow-up Occurs.

On Maximal Regularity and Semivariation of α-Times Resolvent Families

SOME CONVERGENCE PROBLEM OF ITERATIVE SEQUENCESFOR ACCRETIVE AND PSEUDO-CONTRACTIVETYPE MAPPING IN BANACH SPACES

Some necessary and sufficient conditions for convergence of Ishikawa Mann and steepest descent iterative sequence for accretive and pseudo-contractive type mapping in Banach spaces were obtained. The results improve, extend and include some recent results.

Characterizing Continuous dcpos by Liminf Convergence of Filters

It is proved in this note that,under a mild assumption,a dcpo L is continuous if and only if the liminf convergence on L is topological.

Existence and stability of solutions to inverse variational inequality problems

In this paper, two new existence and quasi-variational inequality problems are theorems of solutions to inverse variational proved using the Fan-Knaster-Kuratowski- Mazurkiewicz （KKM） theorem and the Kakutani-Fan-Glicksberg fixed point theorem. Upper semicontinuity and lower semicontinuity of the solution mapping and the approximate solution mapping to the parametric inverse variational inequality problem are also discussed under some suitable conditions. An application to a road pricing problem is given.

Eventually vanished solutions of a forced Liénard system

In this paper, we aim to find eventually vanished solutions, a special class of bounded solutions which tend to 0 as t → ±∞）, to a Lienard system with a time-dependent force. Since it is not a Hamiltonian system with small perturbations, the well-known Melnikov method is not applicable to the determination of the existence of eventually vanished solutions. We use a sequence of periodically forced systems to approximate the considered system, and find their periodic solutions. Difficulties caused by the non- Hamiltonian form are overcome by applying the Schauder＇s fixed point theorem. We show that the sequence of the periodic solutions has an accumulation giving an eventually vanished solution of the forced Lienard system.
