MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a novel class of-22-nt, .non-coding, short single-stranded RNAs producedfrom endogenous genes by the sequential action of the RNase III enzymes Drosha and Dicer. Increasing evidence shows that miRNAs play a critical role in regulating inflammatory and innate immunity.1,2 However, whether miRNAs are involved in the altered function of innate immune cells and ultimately contribute to the development of acute lung injury (ALl) remains largely unknown. It is worth studying the expression profiles of miRNAs in mouse lungs stimulated by lipopolysaccharide (LPS), which may be very important in the regulation of inflammatory mediators during ALI. In the present study, we investigated the expression profiles of miRNAs in LPS-induced ALI in mice. 展开更多
