Li3V2(PO4)3 samples were synthesized by sol-gel route and high temperature solid-state reaction.The influence of Li3V2(PO4)3 as cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries on electrochemical performances was investigated.The structure of Li3V2(PO4)3 as cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries and morphology of Li3V2(PO4)3 were characterized by X-ray diffractometry(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).Electrochemical performances were characterized by charge/discharge and AC impedance measurements.Li3V2(PO4)3 with smaller grain size shows better performances in terms of the discharge capacity and cycle stability.The improved electrochemical properties of Li3V2(PO4)3 are attributed to the refined grains and enhanced electrical conductivity.AC impedance measurements also show that the Li3V2(PO4)3 synthesized by sol-gel route exhibits significantly decreased charge-transfer resistance and shortened migration distance of lithium ions. 展开更多

The thermodynamic properties of xanthone(XTH) and 135 polybrominated xanthones(PBXTHs) in the standard state have been calculated at the B3LYP/6-31G* level using Gaussian 03 program.The isodesmic reactions were designed to calculate the standard enthalpy of formation(△fHθ) and standard free energy of formation(△fGθ) of PBXTH congeners.The relations of these thermodynamic parameters with the number and position of Br atom substitution(NPBS) were discussed,and it was found that there exist high correlation between thermodynamic parameters(entropy(Sθ),△fHθ and △fGθ) and NPBS.According to the relative magnitude of their △fGθ,the relative stability order of PBXTH congeners was theoretically proposed.The relative rate constants of formation reactions of PBXTH congeners were calculated,Moreover,the values of molar heat capacity at constant pressure(Cp,m) from 200 to 1000 K for PBXTH congeners were also calculated,and the temperature dependence relation of them was obtained,suggesting very good relationships between Cp,m and temperature(T,T^1 and T^2) for almost all PBXTH congeners. 展开更多

Regression analysis of the experimental results shows that the average recovery of each component is all in the range from 98.9% to 110.3% , which means the partial least squares regression spectrophotometry can circumvent the overlappirtg of absorption spectrums of mlulti-components, so that sctisfactory results can be obtained without any scrapple pre-separation. 展开更多

Two stable transformed lines containing antisense LeERT1 or LeERT2 sequences and their hybridized line were investigated to determine the effect of LeERT1 and LeERT2 specificity in the ethylene receptor family in tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) on ethylene signaling. The transgenic line ale1 containing antisense LeERT1 displayed shorter length of seedling grown in the dark and adult plant in the light, severe epinastic petiole, and accelerated abscission of petiole explant and senescence of flower explant, compared with its wild type B1. The transgenic line ale2 containing antisense LeERT2 also exhibited shorter hypocotyls and slightly accelerated abscission. The phenotypes of cross line dale of LeERT1 and LeERT2 were close to ale1 in many aspects. These results suggested that LeERT1 probably plays a relatively important role in ethylene signaling of tomato growth and development. 展开更多

Th/s article deals with the determination of the adsorption properties of metal ions and humic acid in wa- ter on crosslinked chitosan derivatives (carboxymethylchitosan) which were formed using the irradiation technique without any additives.The solubility test of these crosslinked materials were investigated in acidic,alkaline media, distilled water,and certain organic solvents.Scanning electron microscopic (SEM) images showed that the crosslinked chitosan derivatives possessed a porous morphological structure.Charged characteristic analyses demon- strated typically pH-dependent properties of the crosslinked materials.The adsorption studies were carried out by the batch method at room temperature.Adsorption of heavy metal ions (such as Cu^(2+),Cd^(2+)) and humic acid onto crosslinked samples was found to be strongly pH-dependent.Adsorption kinetic studies indicated the rapid removal of metal ions,and humic acid from the aqueous solutions.Moreover,isothermal adsorption data revealed that Cu^(2+),Cd^(2+), and humic acid were removed by these crosslinked materials with high efficiency.Adsorption isothermal data were interpreted well by the Langmuir equation.These crosslinked carboxymethylated chitosan derivatives indicate favor- able adsorption of metal ions and humic acid. 展开更多

In order to improve the sensitivity, two online concentration techniques including cation-selective exhaustive injection (CSEI) and sweeping micellar electrokinetic chromatography (sweeping-MEKC) were used. Under the optimum conditions, the detection limits (S/N = 3) were 0.10 μg/L for ephedrine and 0.80 μg/L for codeine. This method was successfully applied to real urine sample analysis. 展开更多

Background:Hard mineral and acid salt deposits that clump together in concentrated urine are known as kidney stones.A complicated chain of physicochemical events,including hyper saturation,nucleation,growth,aggrega-tion,and retention in the urinary tract,leads to urolithiasis,the third most prevalent urinary tract issue.Numerous traditional medications and therapies are less successful in treating urolithiasis and frequently cause recurrences.Objective:The present study is focused on evaluating the anti-urolithiasis activities of the polyherbal formulation prepared from Spinacia oleracea L.and Coriandrum sativum L.seeds.Methods:To evaluating the anti-urolithiasis activities of the polyherbal formulation prepared from S.oleracea and C.sativum seeds against oxalate crystals by employing an in vitro inhibition,aggregation,and nucleation assay,employing a spectrophotometer followed by microscopic observation,and further monitored by egg semiperme-able membrane model,using cystone as a standard drug.Results:In the present work,the alkaloids,glycosides,flavonoids,glycosides,phenols,saponins,steroids,tannins,terpenoids,and triterpenoids were found in the extracts of S.oleracea and C.sativum.The in vitro assays in the present study clearly indicated that all the mixture extracts readily prevented crystal nucleation,growth and ag-gregation.The aqueous extract of the mixture inhibited significant inhibitory potential against the crystallization process.Conclusion:It can be said that the phyto-constituents enriched homemade preparation possibly will be used as a medication for the management of kidney stones by dissolving the oxalate stone in the kidney. 展开更多

A novel flow-injection irreversible biamperometric method is described for the direct determination of iodide. The method is based on electrochemical oxidation of iodide at the gold electrode and the reduction of permanganate at the platinum electrode to form an irreversible biamperometric detection system. Under the applied potential difference of 0 V, in the 0.05 mol/L sulfuric acid, iodidecan be determined over the range 4.00×10^-7-1.00×10^-5 mol/L with a sampling frequency of 120 samples per hour. The detection limit for I- is 3.0×10^-7 mol/L and the RSD for 40 replicate determinations of 4.0×10^-5 mol/L potassium iodide is 1.68%. The new method was applied to the analysis of iodide in table salt with satisfactory results. 展开更多

A flow injection irreversible biamperometric method for the determination of chlorogenic acid is described. The proposed method is based on the electrochemical oxidation of chlorogenic acid at pretreated platinum electrode and the reduction of permanganate at another electrode to form an irreversible biamperometric detection system. Under the external potential difference (z^v) of 0 V, in the 0.05 mol/L sulfuric acid, chlorogenic acid can be determined over the range 0.8-120 mg/L with a sample measurement frequency of 80 samples/h. The detection limit is 0.18 mg/L. The proposed method exhibits the satisfactory reproducibility with a relative standard derivation (R.S.D.) of 2.21% for 19 successive determinations of 40 mg/L. 展开更多

Based on the electrocatalytic oxidation of levodopa at gold electrode and the reduction of permanganate at platinum electrode, a novel flow injection irreversible biamperometric method is developed for the determination of levodopa under the potential difference of 0 V imposed between two electrodes. In H2SO4 solution, the linear relationships between currents and the concentrations of levodopa are obtained in the range from 0.04 mg/L to 20 mg/L with the detection limit of 0.012 mg/L. The characteristics of fruit ripening and expression of ripening-related genes were investigated in epi, an ethylene overproduction mutant of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.). The epi produces apparently more ethylene than its wild type VFN8 at every stage of vegetative and fruit growth and ripening; compared to VFN8, the epi fruit showed higher CO2 evolution, faster descending of chlorophyll, slightly quicker increase of carotenoid and lycopene, and faster reduction in pericarp firmness during maturation and ripening; and the mRNAs of three ripening-related genes including E8, pTOM5 and pTOM6 were at higher levels in epi. The ripening-related characteristics changing of the fruit are consistent with the increase of ethylene production and ripening-related genes expression. These results suggest that epi mutation possibly did not affect the ethylene perception and signaling during fruit ripening, and that the modified characteristics of fruit ripening possibly resulted from the ethylene over- production and increased expression of ripening-related genes. 展开更多

Microwave radiation was applied to the detection of metamizole sodium by cyclic voltammetry. The electrochemical characteristics of metamizole sodium were studied by cyclic voltammetry at GC electrode under microwave radiation and a considerable current enhancement was observed for metamizole sodium in aqueous 0.05 mol/L H2SO4. Under the optional conditions, metamizole sodium was determined in the absence and presence of microwave activation. In the absence of microwave activation cyclic voltammogram of metamizole sodium shows good linear relationship in a concentration range of 8.0×10^-5-1.0×10^-3 mol/L in aqueous 0.05 mol/L H2SO4 with a detection limit of 6.75× 10^-6 mol/L(S/N=3) and the equation of linear regression is Ip=12.973c-0.1905(R^2=0.9996, n=6); in the presence of 80 W microwave activation cyclic voltammogram of metamizole sodiumin shows good linear relationship in a concentration range of 4.0× 10^-5-1.0×10^-3 mol/L in aqueous 0.05 mol/L H2SO4 with a detection limit of 4,41 × 10^-6 mol/L(S/N=3) and the equation of linear regression is Ip=25.107c-0.1193(R^2=0.9973, n=7). The current in the presence of 80 W microwave activation increases to about 2 orders of magnitude compared with that in the absence of microwave activation. The proposed method in the presence of microwave activation showed high selectivity and sensitivity, and the sampling of the disposal method is simple. The method was verified by the determination of Metamizole Sodium tablet with satisfactory results. 展开更多

Study electrochemical characteristics of mitoxantrone in the CS-dispersed graphene modified electrode by cyclic voltammetry and other methods, by selecting and optimizing the various parameters to create a new electrochemical method for the determination of mitoxantrone. The linear range of the oxidation peak current is from 6×10–10 to 1 ×10–6 mol/l in this method, after 2.5 mins open-circuit accumulation, the limit of detection is 2×10–10 mol/l. After 10 parallel determinations, the relative standard deviation was 3.7% that the concentration of mitoxantrone was 1×10–8 mol/l. The modified electrode has been successfully applied for the assay of mitoxantrone in human urine samples. 展开更多

The procees uses the so-called powder-partlcle fluidized bed (PPFB) as the major reactor in which a coarse DeNOx catalyst, several hundrsd micrometers in size, is fluidized by flue gas as the fluidization medium particles while a contlnuogsly supplied fine DeSOx sorbent, several to tens of micrometers in dianteter, is entrained with the flue gas. Ammonin for NOx reduction is fed to the bottom of the bed, thus, SOx and NOx are simultaneously removed in the single reactor.By adopting a model gas, SO2-NO-HaO-N2-air, to simulate actual flue gas in a laboratory-scale PPFB, simultaneous SO2 and NO removals were explored with respect to various gas components of flue gas. It was found that the vaxlations of SO2 removal with concentrations (fractions) of oxygen, water vapor, SO2 and NO in flue gas are little affected by the simultaneous NOx reduction. However,the dependencles of NO removal upon such gas components are clveely related to the inter-actions between DeSOx sorbent and DeNOx catalyst. 展开更多

Geometry optimization and subsequent harmonic vibration calculations of prior synthesized (E)-3-(4-fluorophenyl)-N-[4-(phenyl-amino) quinazoline-7-yl] acrylamide were carried out by DFT/B3LYP method with both 6-31G and 6-311G basis sets.The Infrared (IR) spectrum of the title compound was recorded in the field of 400-4000 cm 1 and then assigned.The correlation analyses between the scaled theoretical vibration frequencies and the experimental ones indicate that there exist good linearity relationships since the correlation coefficients R 2 are larger than 0.999.The intramolecular interactions existed in the title molecule were confirmed by the Atoms in molecules (AIM) method,and their influences on the absorption frequency were also investigated. 展开更多

A new electrochemical method for the on-line determination of vitamin B1 is presented. Based on dead-stop endpoint biamperometry by using two platinum foil electrodes with an applied potential difference of 150 mV, vitamin B1 can be oxidized by hexacyanoferrate ( Ⅲ ) in a sodium hydroxide medium via a reversible indicating couple Fe( CN)6^4- /Fe(CN)6^3- The cell current is linear with the concentration of vitamin B1 in the concentration range of 4. 0 × 10^-6-1.0 × 10^ -3 mol/L with a detection limit of 8.0 ×10 ^-7 mol/L(0. 27 μg/mL). Most familiar excipients, ions and vitamins do not interfere with the determination of vitamin B1. The method displays the advantages of simplicity, high efficiency( 180 samples/h), and high selectivity, and is suitable for the determination of vitamin B1 in pharmaceutical preparations. 展开更多

The endangered Vatica mangachapoi,a longlived,tropical tree with economic and ecological importance found in Hainan,China,was used to assess the hypothesis that historical human activities in Hainan’s tropical rain forest could have negative effects on the genetic diversity of V.mangachapoi.Three hundred and twenty individuals from 11 natural populations—which were classified into three groups according to levels of disturbance—were sampled and analyzed with ISSRmarkers.Although genetic diversity of V.mangachapoi is high at the species level,it is relatively low within populations.A significant genetic differentiation occurs among different disturbance levels.Significant isolation-by-distance indicated relevant historical anthropogenic changes.Our findings showed that historical human disturbances significantly increase the genetic differentiation and slightly decrease the genetic diversity of long-lived tree V.mangachapoi.Relevant targeting conservation actions were recommended. 展开更多
