Let P(s,δ) be a sphere plant family described by the transfer function set where the coefficients of the denominator and numerator polynomials are affine in a real uncertain parameter vector δ satisfying the Euclidean norm constraint ||δ||<δ.The concept of stabilizability radius of P(s,δ) is introduced which is the norm bound δs for δ such that every member plant of P(s,δ) is stabilizable if and only if ||δ||<δs.The stabilizability radius can be simply interpreted as the 'largest sphere' around the nominal plant P(s,0) such that P(s,δ) is stabilizable.The numerical method and the analytical method are presented to solve the stabilizability radius calculation problem of the sphere plants. 展开更多

The purpose of this paper is to develop an analytic way for designing optimal PI-controllers for the interval plant family. Optimality means that the coefficient intervals of the plant stabilized by a PI-controller is maximized. It will be shown that the optimization problem can be formulated in terms of an eigenvalue minimization problem of matrix pairs of the form (H(h0, g0), H(δ1,k, δ2,k)), where k= 1, 2, 3, 4 and both H(h0, g0) and H(δ1,k,δ2,k) are frequency independent Hurwitz-like matrices. A numerical example is provided to illustrate that optimal controller parameters can be successfully obtained by a two-dimensional search. 展开更多

Snow Cover Detection Based on Visible Red and Blue Channel from MODIS Imagery Data

In the present work, a new snow cover detection method based on visible red and blue bands from MODIS imagery data is proposed for Akita prefecture under the sunny cloud-free conditions. Before the snow cover detection, the MODIS imagery of the study area is pre-processed by geographic correction, clipping, atmospheric correction and topographic correction. Snow cover detection is carried out by applying the reflectance similarities of snow and other substances in the visible red band 1 and blue band 3. Then, the threshold values are confirmed to distinguish snow pixels from other substances by analyzing the composited true color images and 2-dimensional scatter plots. The MOD10_L2 products and?in-situ?snow depth data from 31 observation stations across the whole study area are chosen to compare and validate the effectivity of proposed method for snow cover detection. We calculate the overall accuracy, over-estimation error and under-estimation error of snow cover detection during the snowy season from May 2012 to April 2014, and the results are compared by classifying all of the observation stations into forest areas, basin areas and plain areas. It proves that the snow cover can be detected effectively in Akita prefecture by the proposed method. And the average overall accuracy of proposed method is higher than MOD10_L2 product, improved by 26.27%. BACKGROUND After an esophagectomy, the stomach is most commonly used to restore continuity of the upper gastrointestinal tract. These esophago-gastric anastomoses are prone to serious complications such as leakage associated with high morbidity and mortality. Graft perfusion is considered to be an important predictor for anastomotic integrity. Based on the current literature we believe Indocyanine green fluorescence angiography(ICGA) is an easy assessment tool for gastric tube(GT) perfusion, and it might predict anastomotic leakage(AL).AIM To evaluate feasibility and effectiveness of ICGA in GT perfusion assessment and as a predictor of AL.METHODS This study was designed according to the PRISMA guidelines and registered in the PROSPERO database. PubMed and EMBASE were independently searched by 2 reviewers for studies presenting data on intraoperative ICGA GT perfusion assessment during esophago-gastric reconstruction after esophagectomy.Relevant outcomes such as feasibility, complications, intraoperative surgical changes based on ICGA findings, quantification attempts, anatomical data and the impact of ICGA on postoperative anastomotic complications, were collected by 2 independent researchers. The quality of the included articles was assessed based on the Methodological Index for Non-Randomized Studies. The 19 included studies presented data on 1192 esophagectomy patients, in 758 patients ICGA was used perioperative to guide esophageal reconstruction.RESULTS The 19 included studies for qualitative analyses all described ICGA as a safe and easy method to evaluate gastric graft perfusion. AL occurred in 13.8% of the entire cohort, 10% in the ICG guided group and 20.6% in the control group(P <0.001). When poorly perfused cases are excluded from the analyses, the difference in AL was even larger(AL well-perfused group 6.3% vs control group 20.5%, P <0.001). The AL rate in the group with an altered surgical plan based on the ICG image was 6.5%, similar to the well perfused group(6.3%) and significantly less than the poorly perfused group(47.8%)(P < 0.001), suggesting that the technique is able to identify and alter a potential bad outcome.CONCLUSION ICGA is a safe, feasible and promising method for perfusion assessment. The lower AL rate in the well perfused group suggest that a good fluorescent signal predicts a good outcome. 展开更多

This paper is concerned with the robust H ∞ filter problem for networked environments, which are subject to both transmission delay and packet dropouts randomly. By employing random series which have Bernoulli distributions taking value of 0 or 1, the data transmission model is obtained. Based on state augmentation and stochastic theory, the sufficient condition for robust stability with H ∞ constraints is derived for the filtering error system. The robust filter is designed in terms of feasibility of one certain linear matrix inequality (LMI), which is formed by adopting matrix congruence transformations. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed filtering method. 展开更多
