NiFe2O4 nanorods have been successfully synthesized via thermal treatment of the rod-like precursor fabricated by Ni-doped (x-FeOOH, which was enwrapped by the complex of citric acid and Niz~. The morphology evolution during the calcination of the precursor nanorods was investigated with transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and the phase and the magnetic properties of samples were analyzed through X-ray diffraction (XRD) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The results indicated that the diameter of the NiFe204 nanorods obtained ranged between 30 and 50 nm, and the length ranged between 2 and 3 um. As the calcination temperature was up to 600℃, the coercivity, saturation magnetization, and remanent magnetization of the samples were 36.1 kA.m^-1, 27.2 A.m2.kg^-1, and 5.3 A.m2.kg^-1, respectively. The NiFe2O4 nanorods prepared have higher shape anisotropy and superior magnetic properties than those with irregular shapes. 展开更多

Objective: To discover new proteomic biomarkers of hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods: Surface enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight (SELDI-TOF) mass spectrometry was used to discover biomarkers for differentiating hepatocellular carcinoma and chronic liver disease. A population of 50 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma and 33 patients with chronic liver disease was studied. Results: Twelve proteomic biomarkers of hepatocellular carcinoma were detected in this study. Three proteomic biomarkers were highly expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma and nine proteomic biomarkers were highly expressed in chronic liver disease. The most valuable proteomic biomarker with m/z=11498 had no similar diagnostic value as α-fetoprotein. Conclusion: Some of the twelve proteomic biomarkers may become new biomarkers of hepatocellular carcinoma. 展开更多

Based on rpoB gene micro array as target gene, we are going to use gene chip technology to test 24 mycobacterium standard specimens, 8 non-mycobacterium specimens and 86 mycobacterium clinical isolated specimens. As a result, after mycobacterium and non-mycobacterium standard specimens were duplicated by PCR, mycobacterium standard specimens reproduced 360bp DNA fragments; on the other hand, non-mycobacterium specimens did not reproduce any fragments except for hemolytic streptococcus and corynebacterium pseudodiphtheriticum which had the same results as mycobacterium standard specimens. Sensitive test is able to detect lpg tuberculosis mycobacterium DNA. The probe test showed that, among 21 oligonucleotide probes, probe-M. fortuitum and M. marinum were cross-hybrid; the other probes were specific. We used the new method to identify 126 mycobacterium clinical isolated specimens. The test results of this new method matched with conventional method. In conclusion, compared to the traditional method, the use of rpob gene chip technology to identify mycobacterium species will be faster, more accurate and higher value in application. 展开更多

The Lower Limbs Exoskeleton jumping assisting Intelligence System (LLEIS) can be used to improve ma- neuverability of soldiers with key technologies of human motion characteristics recognition and design of an intelli- gence power assisting device. Data on the movement of human lower limbs has been collected by using three kinds of instruments to research the parameters of characteristics recognition. The results indicated that the optimal angle be- tween knee and ankle is 157° for jumping assistance, and the peak force on the arch is 80 N in upward jumping and much lower in forward jumping. The LLEIS simplified model is accomplished under UG and exported into AD- AMS for the kinematics and dynamics simulation. The research findings indicate that the LLEIS can be used to enhance carrying and hopping ability of lower limbs effectively and as a reference for the design of a real system. 展开更多
