At the sametime, there are divergent views of how IP routers interact with optical core networks to achieveend-to-end connectivity. This paper describes the strategies of optical communication s futuredevelopment towards next generation IP over Optical Networks. The desirable extent of networktransparency in advanced all-optical network architecture is studied. Architectural alternatives forinterconnecting IP routers over optical networks, and the concerned routing and signaling issuesare described.展开更多

It consists of a coaxial optical fiber, bounded by dielectric, multilayer and omnidirectional reflecting mirrors. Jones matrix method is used to analyze the influence of the layer number of one Dimensional (1D) photonic crystals on their reflectivity. The numerical results show that this type of fiber can be used to guide light around sharp bends whose radius of curvature can be as small as the wavelength of light without significant scattering losses.展开更多

The authors present an example of such CGH by which a section multiple-phase-shiftefiber Bragg grating with twoπ/2 phase shifts and grating length L = 21.2 μm was produced. Theauthors describe the production process and finally give an example of a reconstructed fiber gratingwith two phase-shifts.展开更多
