The trace amount of oxygen in Hb was reduced by an electrolytic method using hydrogen as an electron donor. The deoxygenated Hb(deoxyHb) was stable against heat treatment at 60 ℃ with little precipitant. This method is safe, fast, and would be of potential use for large scale purification of Hb. 展开更多
