An adaptive blind watermarking scheme util...An important problem constraining the practical implementation of robust watermarking technology is the low robustness of existing algorithms against geometrical distortions. An adaptive blind watermarking scheme utilizing neural network for synchronization is proposed in this paper,which allows to recover watermark even if the image has been subjected to generalized geometrical transforms. Through classification of image’s brightness, texture and contrast sensitivity utilizing fuzzy clustering theory and human visual system, more robust watermark is adaptively embedded in DWT domain. In order to register rotation, scaling and translation parameters, feedforward neural network is utilized to learn image geometric pattern represented by six combined low order image moments. The distortion can be inverted after determining the affine distortion applied to the image and watermark can be extracted in a standard way without original image. It only needs a trained neural network. Experimental results demonstrate its advantages over previous method in terms of computational effectiveness and parameter estimation accuracy. It can embed more robust watermark under certain visual distance, and effectively resist JPEG compression, noise and geometric attacks.展开更多

Therefore, an approach of nonlinear principal component analysis (NLPCA) using radial basis function (RBF) neural network is developed in this paper. The orthogonal least squares (OLS) algorithm is used to train the RBF neural network. This method improves the training speed and prevents it from being trapped in local optimization. Results of two experiments show that this NLPCA method can effectively capture nonlinear correlation of nonlinear complex data, and improve the precision of the classification and the prediction.展开更多

The alignment was done by hierarchically identifying the multiple relationships and the result was recorded in a correspondence matrix, where the best match is defined and selected for localization. It is indicated that the searching algorithm of the best match can find the ambiguities and get rid of them. This method with less computational cost works well in occluded environment, and can correct the error in pose estimation without the need for the estimation itself. The efficiency, accuracy and robustness of this method were verified by experiments of localization in an occluded environment and a long-distance indoor navigation.展开更多

The workflow has to be continuous, implying that the no-wait conditions must be abided, which is typical in steel and plastic production. We discuss the three-machine no-wait flowshop scheduling problem where the setup times are considered as separated from processing times and sequence independent. The scheduling goal is to minimize the total flowtime. An optimal property and two heuristic algorithms for this problem are proposed. Evaluated over a large number of problems, the proposed heuristics are found that they can yield good solutions effectively with low computational complexity, and have more obvious advantage for the large size problem compared with the existing one.展开更多

In order to overcome the premature convergence of ACA (ant colony algorithms), the idea of mute operation is adopted in genetic algorithms and a PACA (parallel ant colony algorithms) is proposed for supply chain optimization. Finally, an illustrative example is given, and a comparison is made with standard BAB (Branch and Bound) and PACA approach. The result shows that the latter is more effective and promising.展开更多

Its property of global asymptotical convergence has been proved with Markov chains in this paper. CGA was applied to the optimization of complex benchmark functions and artificial neural network's (ANN) training. In solving the complex benchmark functions,CGA needs less iterative number than GA and other chaotic optimization algorithms and always finds the optima of these functions. In training ANN,CGA uses less iterative number and shows strong generalization. It is proved that CGA is an efficient and convenient chaotic optimization algorithm.展开更多

In this paper, input-output data and operating experiences will be used to establish PEMFC stack model and operating temperature control system. An adaptive learning algorithm and a nearest-neighbor clustering algorithm are applied to regulate the parameters and fuzzy rules so that the model and the control system are able to obtain higher accuracy. 文摘A robust H∞ approach to filtering for a class of uncertain linear systems with time-delayed measurement is investigated. The parameter uncertainties are described by real time-varying norm-bounded form. A methodology is developed for designing linear filters such that the filtering process remains robustly stable and the transfer function from the disturbance inputs to error state outputs meets the prescribed H∞-norm upper-bound constraints. The filter can be obtained and parameterized by solving two Riccati equations based on the lemma of robust stability for control system with delay. Simulation example proves the method to be effective and feasible.
