Because of the various excellent characteristics of cast basalt materials,such as,anti-corrosion,anti-wearing,good hardness,high chemical stability,of which steel may not possess,the steel-basalt composite pipes are used in severe environments for compensating the defects of steel.The limit of bending moment with which steel-basalt composite pipe may safely endure was calculated and the limit curvature of the composite pipe in the safe range was presented.The application temperature of steel-basalt pipe was examined due to a different coefficient among basalt,mortar and mild steel. 展开更多

Laser transformation hardening(LTH) is one of the laser surface modification processes.The surface hardening of rod-shaped carbon steel(SM45C) was performed by lathe-based laser composite processor with Gaussian-beam optical head.The LTH characteristics by dominant processes,longitudinal and depth directional hardness distributions and behaviors of phase transformation in hardened zones were examined.Especially,two concepts of circumferential speed and theoretical overlap rate were applied.When laser power increased or circumferential speed decreased,the surface hardening depth gradually increases due to the increased heat input.Moreover,the longitudinal hardness distribution particularly shows periodicity of repetitive increase and decrease,which results from tempering effect by overlap.Finally,the feasibility of laser transformation hardening is verified by using the beam with Gaussian intensity distribution. 展开更多

Al合金表层的缺陷常常会导致腐蚀发生。因此,采取保护措施以提高铝合金的抗腐蚀性能是非常重要的。从电化学的角度出发,对固溶、淬火和时效处理工艺进行优化,以提高铝合金的强度。在不同电位(-05~-1.8V)下进行慢应变速率拉伸实验。结果表明:与未经强化处理的铝合金相比,经固溶强化热处理的铝合金表现出高的最大拉伸强度、伸长率和断裂时间。由于经固溶强化处理的铝合金的伸长率增加,其拉伸断裂时间也随之增加。在电位-1.3~-0.7V范围内,样品具有优异的力学性能,因此,该电位范围被认为是该合金的腐蚀保护范围。 展开更多

Environmentally friendly hybrid coating prepared by electro-deposition method at various seawater conditions

The formation mechanism of calcareous deposit films in seawater involves an increase in pH at the metal/solution interface due to cathodic reactions, a raised carbonate ion concentration at the interface and precipitation of inorganic deposits such as CaCO3, Mg(OH)2. Environmentally friendly hybrid calcareous deposit films were formed by an electrochemical technique on steel substrates in various solution environments. And the influence of dissolved gas on formation of calcareous deposit films was investigated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) and X-ray diffractometry(XRD). Consequently, these results showed that formation of good overall calcareous deposited films by dissolved gas in seawater environments can be achieved by controlling the material composition and structure through effective use of electrochemical method. 展开更多
