From clinical practice,the authors concluded that the principal pathogenic factor in allergicrhinitis is deficient resistance of the the body surface,and the patient is exposed to invasionof wind-evil.495 cases of the allergic rhinitis have been treated with the method of invigo-rating vital energy and strengthening the body surface resistance (Bu Qi Gu Biao 补气固表);the total effective rate was 84%,and the recurrence rate was 13.2% in a follow-up of 2years.The changes in plasma cyclic nucleotides of the patients,and the ultrastructure of na-sal mucosa of patients and animal models were also observed before and after treatment.The results showed that the TCM therapy tended to normalize the plasma cyclic nucleotidelevel,to improve the morphology and function of cells and organelles,to restore the functionof mucosal cilia,to reduce the infiltration of eosinophils and their degranulation,to reducetissue edema,and to eliminate the deposit of immune complexes. 展开更多

This paper presents a novel augmented reality(AR)-based neurosurgical training simulator which provides a very natural way for surgeons to learn neurosurgical skills.Surgical simulation with bimanual haptic interaction is integrated in this work to provide a simulated environment for users to achieve holographic guidance for pre-operative training.To achieve the AR guidance,the simulator should precisely overlay the 3D anatomical information of the hidden target organs in the patients in real surgery.In this regard,the patient-specific anatomy structures are reconstructed from segmented brain magnetic resonance imaging.We propose a registration method for precise mapping of the virtual and real information.In addition,the simulator provides bimanual haptic interaction in a holographic environment to mimic real brain tumor resection.In this study,we conduct AR-based guidance validation and a user study on the developed simulator,which demonstrate the high accuracy of our AR-based neurosurgery simulator,as well as the AR guidance mode’s potential to improve neurosurgery by simplifying the operation,reducing the difficulty of the operation,shortening the operation time,and increasing the precision of the operation. 展开更多

Objective:To study the ZEB2, AnnexinA2 and latent membrane protein 2A (LMP2A) expression in nasopharyngeal carcinoma and their correlation with prognosis and malignant molecules.Methods: Patients who underwent local tissue biopsy under nasopharyngeal fiberscope in Xuhui Dahua Hospital between March 2015 and February 2018 were selected as the research subjects, and the pathological results of biopsy were referred to enroll the patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma into nasopharyngeal carcinoma group and enroll those with nasal mucosal inflammation into control group of the research. The biopsy tissue was collected to detect the mRNA expression of ZEB2, AnnexinA2, LMP2A and malignant molecules related to proliferation and invasion.Results: ZEB2, AnnexinA2, LMP2A,β-catenin, CyclinD1, iASPP, N-cadherin, PARP-1 and MMP9 mRNA expression in tumor tissue of nasopharyngeal carcinoma group were significantly higher than those in rhinitis mucosa tissue of control group whereas RASSF1A, p21WAF1, E-cadherin, IFR5 and TIMP1 mRNA expression were significantly lower than those in rhinitis mucosa tissue of control group;ZEB2, AnnexinA2 and LMP2A mRNA expression in tumor tissue of nasopharyngeal carcinoma group were positively correlated withβ-catenin, CyclinD1, iASPP, N-cadherin, PARP-1 and MMP9, and negatively correlated with RASSF1A, p21WAF1, E-cadherin, IFR5 and TIMP1.Conclusion:The high expression of ZEB2, AnnexinA2 and LMP2A in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue is closely related to the changes of tumor staging and malignant molecule expression. 展开更多

Correlation of Six1, MTDH and TKTL1 expression in laryngeal cancer tissue with serum tumor marker levels and cell proliferation activity

Objective:To study the correlation of Six1, MTDH and TKTL1 expression in laryngeal cancer tissue with serum tumor marker levels and cell proliferation activity.Methods:A total of 48 patients who were diagnosed with primary laryngeal cancer in our hospital between June 2013 and December 2016 were collected as observation group, and 50 patients with vocal cord polyp who received laryngoscopy in our hospital during the same period were selected as control group. Fluorescence quantitative PCR was used to determine the expression of Six1, MTDH and TKTL1 as well as and the expression of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes in lesion tissue of two groups of patients, and the contents of tumor markers in serum were detected. Pearson test was used to evaluate the correlation of Six1, MTDH and TKTL1 expression in laryngeal cancer tissue with serum tumor marker levels and cell proliferation activity.Results: Six1, MTDH, TKTL1, c-myc, STAT3 and ras mRNA expression in lesion tissue as well as tumor markers CA72-4, CA19-9, CYFRA21-1, SCC-Ag and TK1 levels in serum of observation group were higher than those of control group while LKB1, CDKN2 and PTEN mRNA expression were lower than those of control group;Six1, MTDH and TKTL1 expression in laryngeal cancer tissue were positively correlated with serum CA72-4, CA19-9, CYFRA21-1, SCC-Ag and TK1 levels as well as c-myc, STAT3 and ras mRNA expression, and negatively correlated with LKB1, CDKN2 and PTEN mRNA expression.Conclusion:Six1, MTDH and TKTL1 expression increase in laryngeal cancer tissue, and their specific expression are directly correlated with tumor malignancy. 展开更多

Correlation of serum YKL-40 content with eosinophil function as well as Th1/Th2 and Treg/Th17 immunity in patients with allergic rhinitis

Objective: To discuss the correlation of serum YKL-40 content with eosinophil function as well as Th1/Th2 and Treg/Th17 immunity in patients with allergic rhinitis. Methods: A total of 310 patients with allergic rhinitis who were treated in the hospital between January 2015 and May 2017 were selected as allergic rhinitis group and 100 healthy volunteers who received physical examination in the hospital during the same period were selected as normal control group. The differences in serum YKL-40 content, eosinophil function as well as Th1/Th2 and Treg/Th17 cytokine contents were compared between the two groups. Pearson test was used to assess the correlation between serum YKL-40 content and disease severity in patients with allergic rhinitis. Results: Serum YKL-40 content of allergic rhinitis group was higher than that of normal control group;serum eosinophil function IgE and Eotaxin-2 contents of allergic rhinitis group were higher than those of normal control group;serum Th1 cytokines IFN-γand IL-12 contents were lower than those of normal control group while Th2 cytokines IL-4 and IL-13 contents were higher than those of normal control group;serum Treg cytokine TGF-β content was lower than that of normal control group while Th17 cytokine IL-17 content was higher than that of normal control group. Pearson test showed that serum YKL-40 content in patients with allergic rhinitis was directly correlated with the eosinophil function as well as Th1/Th2 and Treg/Th17 immunity. Conclusion: Serum YKL-40 content is abnormally high in patients with allergic rhinitis, and the specific expression is positively correlated with the disease severity. 展开更多

Objective: To investigate the effect of budesonide combined with cetirizine hydrochloride on neurotrophic factor, airway function and chemokines CCL17 and CCL12 in patients with allergic rhinitis. Methods: A total of 123 patients with Allergic Rhinitis were randomly divided into three groups, A group treated with budesonide nasal spray, B group treated with cetirizine hydrochloride, C group treated with budesonide combined with cetirizine hydrochloride, then the Neurotrophic factors, airway function indexes and chemokines CCL17 and CCL12 levels in three groups were compared. Results: Before the treatments, the three groups of patients in neurotrophic factor, airway function index and chemokines CCL17, CCL22 have no differences, Compared with before the treatments, after receiving different treatments, the three groups of patients in all indicators were Showed significant differences. In the indexes of neurotrophic factor (NGF, BDNF, NT-3mRNA expression), there was no significant difference between group A and group B, and group C was lower than group A and B. In airway function indexes (FVC, FEV1 and PEF), A group was significantly higher than B group, C group was significantly higher than A group;In the chemokines CCL17 and CCL22 indicators, C group was lower than A group, A group was lower than B group, the difference was significant. Conclusions: Budesonide combined with cetirizine hydrochloride in the treatment of Allergic Rhinitis, can effectively control the patients' neurotrophic factor, pulmonary ventilation and chemokine CC17, CCL22 indicators, the effect is better than Budesonide alone or Cetirizine hydrochloride. 展开更多
