By using the device simulation software, the distributions and variations of the electric field, the current density and the temperature are analyzed. The simulation results show that there are three physical effects, i.e., the forward-biased effect of the gate Schottky junction, the avalanche breakdown, and the thermal breakdown of the barrier layer, which influence the device current in the damage process. It is found that the damage position of the device changes with the amplitude of the step voltage pulse. The damage appears under the gate near the drain when the amplitude of the pulse is low, and it also occurs under the gate near the source when the amplitude is sufficiently high, which is consistent with the experimental results.展开更多

These perturbations may develop into large-scale vertical movement of the whole column for the vertically elon- gated tokamak, eventually generating the hot vertical displacement event (VIDE,). It will cause considerable damage to the machine. In this work, the hot VDE process due to stored energy perturbations is investigated by a mature non-linear time-evolution code DINA. The influence on the vertical instability, the displacement direction and the electromagnetic loads on in-vessel components during the hot VDE are analyzed. It is shown that a larger perturbation leads to faster development of the vertical instability. Meanwhile the variation of the Shafranov shift, due to the energy change, is related to the VDE direction. The vertical electromagnetic force on the vacuum vessel and the halo current flowing in the divertor baffle become larger in the case of VDE moving towards the X point.展开更多

By comparing the untreated specimen with the thermal-treated one, it is found that the volume-average response of measured TATB grains remains nearly elastic during quasi-static uniaxial compression. The observed changes in TATB (002) lattice strains correlate tightly with the evolution of damage. A damage parameter defined by the macroscopically determined residual strain is further used to describe the damage degree of PBX, which suggests that the compressive behavior of TATB-based PBX is significantly influenced bv the damage evolution.展开更多

文摘During the tokamak operation, variation of the stored energy can cause internal perturbations of the plasma. The vertical electromagnetic force on the vacuum vessel and the halo current flowing in the divertor baffle become larger in the case of VDE moving towards the X point.

文摘We investigate the (002) lattice strain evolution of triaminotrinitrobenzene (TATB) grains inside one TATB-based plastic bonded explosive (PBX) through the in-situ neutron diffraction. By comparing the untreated specimen with the thermal-treated one, it is found that the volume-average response of measured TATB grains remains nearly elastic during quasi-static uniaxial compression. The observed changes in TATB (002) lattice strains correlate tightly with the evolution of damage. A damage parameter defined by the macroscopically determined residual strain is further used to describe the damage degree of PBX, which suggests that the compressive behavior of TATB-based PBX is significantly influenced bv the damage evolution.

文摘Attaining tritium self-sufficiency is indispensable in a Z-pinch-driven fusion–fission hybrid reactor(ZFFR).In this paper,a conceptual design is presented in which the Z-FFR tritium cycle system was divided into eight subsystems.A theoretical analysis of tritium inventory based on the mean residence time was performed to quantitatively obtain the tritium distribution in each subsystem.Tritium self-sufficiency judgment criteria were established using a tritium mass flow analysis method. The dependency relationships between the burning rate, tritium breeding ratio, extraction efficiency, and tritium self-sufficiency were also specified for the steady state.
文摘We present simulation results on evolution development of orbital motion of short-period comets with the revolution period not exceeding 6-7 years, namely comets 21P/Giacobini-Zinner, 26P/Grigg- Skjellerup and 7P/Pons-Winnecke. The calculations cover the range from the date of the object's discovery to 2100. Variations in the objects' orbital elements under the action of gravity disturbances, taking Earth's gravitational potential into account when the small body approaches, are analyzed. Corrected dates of peri- helion passages can be used for scheduling observations.
文摘We present a simplified version of an average-atom collisional-radiative model employing both local-thermodynamic-equilibrium averageatom and isolated-ion atomic data. The simplifications introduced do not lead to any substantial errors, and they significantly speed up calculations compared with the basic average-atom model involving direct solution of the self-consistent-field equations.Average ion charges, charge state distributions, and emission spectra of non-local-thermodynamic-equilibrium(NLTE)gold plasmas calculated using various modifications of the average-atom collisional-radiative model are compared with those obtained using the THERMOS model with the detailed configuration accounting approach. We also propose an efficient method to calculate thermodynamic functions of NLTE plasmas in the context of the simplified average-atom collisional-radiative model.
