[Objective]The paper was to study the effects of lactobacillus microecologics on production performance, immune function and intestinal microflora of egg chicks.[Method]Totally 18001-day-old chicks of Hyline brown were randomly divided into three groups, four repeats each group and 150 chicks each repeat. The chicks in control group were supplied with basic diet, and those in experimental groups I and II were supplied with the basic diet added with 100 and 150 g/t microecologics, respectively.[Result]Compared with the control group, the daily gain of egg chicks in experimental group II after 7 weeks was increased by 3.67%(P<0.05),and the feed conversion ratio was significantly reduced by 0.05(P<0.05);the thymus indexes in experimental groups I and II were significantly improved by 4.95%and 5.94%(P<0.05),and the spleen indexes were significantly improved by 3.32% and 4.36% compared with the control group(P<0.05).The index of bursa of fabricius in experimental group II was extremely improved by 9.66%compared with the control group(P<0.01).Meantime,experimental group II extremely improved the number of living lactobacillus in caecum of egg chicks(P<0.01),and extremely reduced the number of Escherichia coli in caecum(P<0.01).[Conclusion]Lactobacillus microecologics are beneficial to the improvement of production performance, immune function and intestinal flora of egg chicks. The optimal addition amount in the feed of chicks is 150 g/t. 展开更多

[Objectives]To explore the saponins resources in fibrous roots of Pseudostellaria heterophylla and optimize the SEP technology for extracting saponins.[Methods]Saponins contents in fibrous roots and root tubers of P.heterophylla were compared;with the fibrous roots as host materials, this experiment applied Box-Behnken design to analyze the influence of steam pressure, maintenance pressure time, moisture content of host materials on the content of saponins extracts.[Results]Saponins content was higher in fibrous roots than in tuberous roots of P.heterophylla;the response surface optimization showed that SEP(steam explosion pretreatment)promoted the contents of saponins and extracts in fibrous roots, and the optimal extracting conditions were stream pressure 1.50 Mpa,maintenance pressure time 54 s,and moisture content of host materials 30%.Under this extracting conditions, the verification value of saponins content experiment was 0.441%,36.53%higher than the untreated control group.[Conclusions]This research offered a new method of exploring saponins resources from fibrous roots of P.heterophylla, and provided a reference for developing new medicinal parts of P.heterophylla. 展开更多

Traditional Chinese medicine Pseudostellaria heterophylla fibrous roots have been widely studied and applied in non-antibiotic clinical breeding of livestock and poultry. In vitro probiotic effect of P. heterophylla fibrous roots extract on feed probiotics Bacillus subtilis BD-K010 was studied, and the feasibility of solid fermentation of P. heterophylla fibrous roots was preliminarily evaluated. For in vitro probiotic effect, the increased concentration of P. heterophylla fibrous roots extract dependently increased the total biomass of B. subtilis BD-K010;1.0% P. heterophylla fibrous roots extract received the best effect, and the final p H of 1.0% experimental group was closer to neutral. Meantime, B. subtilis BD-K010 with optimum concentration of P. heterophylla fibrous roots showed significantly higher in vitro antibacterial effect than the control group(P<0.01),and the antibacterial effects on Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus were improved by 51.99% and 63.16%, but it was ineffective to Salmonella. For solid fermentation, the profile of substrate complex and appendage flocculent structure on substrate surface at the end of fermenta-tion in experimental groups added with B. subtilis BD-K010 and cellulase plus BD-K010 were more complex;the live bacteria number, polysaccharide content and saponin content at fermentation end-point in two experimental groups were extremely higher than those in the control group(P<0.01).P. heterophylla fibrous roots extract had good in vitro probiotic effect on B. subtilis BD-K010 and promoted its antibacterial effect, and it is feasible to use probiotics for solid fermentation of P. heterophylla fibrous roots and to improve effective components. It is of great significance to further de-velop and utilize P. heterophylla fibrous roots resources in modern animal husbandry. 展开更多

[Objective] The paper was to explore the immunoprotection effects of Radix Pseudostellariae fibrous root extraction(RPFRE) on experi-mental mice and its relationship with antioxidant function. [Method] KM male mice were randomly divided into 4 groups based on RPFRE gradient concentration, and the immune function indexes and antioxidant indexes of mice were determined at 14 d post intragastric administration of RPFRE.The remaining mice in the experimental group were intraperitoneally injected with cyclophosphamide(CY) from the 15^(th) to 17^(th) day, and samples were collected to determine the above indexes on the 18^(th) day. [Result] Intragastric administration of RPFRE for 14 d improved the spleen index, thymus index, T/B cell stimulation index and total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC) of normal mice, and extremely increased the thymus index and TAOC(P<0.01). The T-AOC had extremely positive correlation with the spleen index, thymus index and B cell stimulation index( P<0.01), and had significantly positive correlation with the T cell stimulation index(P<0.05). From the 15^(th) to 17^(th) day of the experiment, the immune function indexes and antioxidant indexes of mice decreased and the malondialdehyde(MDA) content increased. The experimental groups of 0.1, 0.2 and 0.4 g/kg RPFRE promoted the immunoprotection and antioxidant effect of mice. RPFRE concentration had extremely positive correlation with 4 indexes of immune function and antioxidant indexes T-AOC and SOD(P<0.01), but had extremely negative correlation with MDA(P<0.01). There was a significantly positive correlation between immune function indexes and antioxidant indexes of mice after CY intervention( P<0.05 or P<0.01). [Conclusion] RPFRE can improve the immune function indexes and antioxidant indexes of normal mice and immunosuppressed mice and has immunopro-tection effect on immunosuppressed mice, and there is a significant correlation between immune function indexes and antioxidant indexes of mice. 展开更多

[Objectives] The paper was to study the effects of probiotics on breeding environment of livestock and poultry and intestinal microorgan-isms of breeding animals. [Method] Chicken houses and hog houses were selected as the research objects. The breeding house supplemented with basal diet was used as the control group;the breeding house sprayed with probiotics product 1 was experimental group 1(exogenous treatment);the basal diet mixed with probiotics product 2 and drinking water mixed with product 3 was experimental group 2(endogenous treatment);and the com-bination of the two experimental groups was experimental group 3. [Results] Experimental groups 1 and 2 reduced the concentration of ammonia in hog houses and chicken houses, and the effect of experimental group 2 was better than that of experimental group 1. Experimental group 3 had the best effect, which significantly reduced the ammonia concentration in hog houses and chicken houses by 28.67% and 34.09%, respectively, and the average ammonia concentration outside the house within the range of 100-300 m was less than 2 mg/m^(3). Moreover, it significantly increased the number of intestinal lactobacillus and reduced the number of Escherichia coli. [Conclusions] Probiotics can effectively reduce the ammonia concentration in livestock and poultry breeding environment, and improve the intestinal microbial structure of breeding animals. The technology of spraying exogenous probiotics combined with the use of content-derived probiotics has great potential for popularization and application. 展开更多
