The rapid development of artificial intelligence(AI)technology has brought new opportunities and challenges to the field of education.As an important link in cultivating students’comprehensive quality and socialist core values,it is necessary to carry out continuous teaching reform and innovation in ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.Based on the concept of AI empowering the teaching reform of ideological and political courses,this study aims to explore how to use artificial intelligence technology to improve the teaching effect and learning experience of ideological and political courses.The research first analyzes the application status of artificial intelligence technology in education,and then discusses the application potential of artificial intelligence in ideological and political courses.Subsequently,the teaching reform strategy of ideological and political courses based on artificial intelligence is proposed,including the use of virtual reality technology,the application of intelligent auxiliary teaching tools to enhance personalized teaching,and the construction of an intelligent learning management system.Lastly,a case analysis is conducted to explore the implementation effect of the teaching reform of ideological and political courses in universities.The results showed that the application of artificial intelligence technology can effectively improve the teaching effect and learning experience of ideological and political courses,and provide new ideas and methods for the teaching reform of ideological and political courses in universities.

Exploring the role of L2 proficiency and foreign language anxiety in EMI course achievement in China

The purpose of this study is to find out how and to what extent students’L2 proficiency and English learning anxiety impact their EMI courses achievement at a Chinese state university.Quantitative research method was conducted.Questionnaire,CET-4 score and EMI exam score(n=94)were collected from undergraduate students from School of Economics who have attended or are attending International Finance course.English language proficiency and anxiety were explored as possible significant predictors of academic success in EMI.The results showed that the two predictors,English language proficiency and anxiety were significant predictors of academic success in EMI.This result highlights that students with a lower level of proficiency need supplementary linguistic support in order to fully succeed in their EMI studies.Also,code-switching to Chinese when necessary and make classes communicative and fun may help to release students’anxiety.This study helped us better understand the impact of students’English level and anxiety on EMI achievement,and it also provides pedagogical implications for teachers of EMI courses.

Endpoints of Multi-Valued Weak Contractions on the Metric Space of Partially Ordered Groups

The present work considers the endpoint in the abstract metric space. It firstly introduces the metric space of partially ordered groups and the metric space of partially ordered modules, respectively;and defines the convergence of sequences and the multi-valued weak contractions, etc., on the introduced space. And then, with the methods of functional analysis and abstract algebra, it successively establishes an endpoint theorem for the metric space of partially ordered groups and an endpoint theorem for the metric space of partially ordered modules. The contributions of this article extend the theory of cone metric space constructed by Huang and Zhang (2007) and some recent results on the fixed point and endpoint theory, such as the endpoint theorem given by Amini-Harandi (2010).

This paper discusses in depth the current situation of cultural communication of Chinese online micro-short dramas,the challenges they face,and the strategies for guiding values.With the rapid development of Internet technology,online micro-short dramas,as an emerging form of cultural communication,have rapidly risen to become an important force in the field of cultural communication in China with their short,concise,diversified contents and rapid dissemination.This paper first defines the definition and characteristics of online microshort dramas,and analyzes their current situation in cultural communication,including the significant improvement in quantity and quality,rich and diversified content themes,and a wide range of audience groups.However,the rapid development of online microshorts also faces challenges such as insufficient content innovation,serious homogenization,unsound regulatory mechanism,and ambiguous value orientation.To address these issues,this paper proposes value-oriented strategies including strengthening policy guidance and supervision,enhancing creators'quality and sense of responsibility,optimizing platform content ecology and recommendation mechanism,strengthening audience education and guidance,and promoting the deep integration of industry,academia,research and application.Through case studies and theoretical discussions,this paper aims to provide effective value guidance paths for the cultural dissemination of online micro-dramas,and to promote their development in a more healthy and positive direction.

For more than a thousand years since the formation of translation as a discipline,many translation theories and different translation schools have emerged.The exploration of translation theories has lasted for hundreds and thousands of years.Each translation school has proposed different translation theories.Throughout the development of translation theory,discussions have always centered on the relationship between the source text and the target text,encompassing translation strategies such as foreignization and domestication,as well as methods like literal translation and free translation.This relationship has been the main thread running through the history of translation theory development.In the 1970s,Reiss,a representative of the German functionalist school,put forward the text type theory.She linked the function of language with language type and text to study translation.She explored the different functions of various types of source texts from the perspective of text type.Therefore,in this paper,the functions and positions of the source text in translation are the central issues.This paper consists of two parts.In the first part,the history of Western translation development is divided into three periods:classical,modern,and contemporary.It uses time as a clue to analyze the changes in the position and function of the source text in translation.In the second part,it uses Reiss’s text type theory as a basis to analyze the extent to which the source text restricts the translator.
