THE ASYMPTOTIC BEHAVIOR AND OSCILLATION FOR A CLASS OF THIRD-ORDER NONLINEAR DELAY DYNAMIC EQUATIONS

In this paper,we consider a class of third-order nonlinear delay dynamic equations.First,we establish a Kiguradze-type lemma and some useful estimates.Second,we give a sufficient and necessary condition for the existence of eventually positive solutions having upper bounds and tending to zero.Third,we obtain new oscillation criteria by employing the Potzsche chain rule.Then,using the generalized Riccati transformation technique and averaging method,we establish the Philos-type oscillation criteria.Surprisingly,the integral value of the Philos-type oscillation criteria,which guarantees that all unbounded solutions oscillate,is greater than θ_(4)(t_(1),T).The results of Theorem 3.5 and Remark 3.6 are novel.Finally,we offer four examples to illustrate our results.

The Civilization Consciousness and Imagination Landscape of Guangdong in the Late Ch’ing Dynasty and the Early Republic of China:A Case Study of Guangdong Education Museum

After the“restoration”of Guangdong Province in 1912,the government has been working hard to construct an advanced and civilized city image of Guangdong Province.In October of the same year,the Guangdong Education Museum,which is located in the Department of Education of Guangdong Province,opened in a hurry,trying to inspire a new chapter in the understanding of Chinese civilization with educational models.This paper attempts to explore the cultural relationship between the exhibition mode,exhibition logic,social activities,human cognition,and urban space through a case study of the development of the regional museum.On the one hand,the development of its form paradigm has gone through the superposition of the texts and practical experience of the construction of the Oriental Learning and Education Museum,the exhibition of educational products in 1904,the Nanyang Business Association in 1910,the Guangdong Education Conference,etc.,and various related museum experience and cultural behaviors have been highlighted,forming a standardized exhibition of Educational Museum;on the other hand,Zhong Rongguang and others have created an exhibition of Educational Museum in the social activities of“model province”,Guangdong Education Museum,as an important cultural index of Guangzhou,the capital city of Guangdong Province,constituted an important landscape of the metropolis in the early Republic of China,thus shaping and influencing the social and cultural space tone of Guangzhou after the 1920s.

Endogenous Trypsin Triggers Free Fluoride Release from Antarctic Krill(Euphausia superba)Cuticle

During postmortem storage,fluoride in Antarctic krill can be enriched in the muscle.Trypsin,as the most important digestive enzyme in Antarctic krill with a high activity in low temperature,plays a potential role in this process.In this study,endogenous trypsin was purified and its properties were investigated.The involvement of trypsin in the generation of free fluoride from Antarctic krill cuticle was explored.Cuticle microstructure before and after hydrolysis was compared with scanning electron microscopy,and the ash samples of the hydrolyzed Antarctic krill cuticle were analyzed with X-ray diffraction,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,and electron dispersive spectroscopy,respectively.Mass spectrometry analysis and inhibition tests confirmed that the purified enzyme was endogenous trypsin.Results of the present study indicated that trypsin digestion caused the increases of the concentrations of both fluoride ions and free amino N simultaneously,while the protein coated on the cuticle surface was dissolved too.However,no compositional change was detected in the cuticle inorganic salts.These findings suggest that trypsin triggered free fluoride release from Antarctic krill cuticle.In addition,the kinetics of free fluoride release could be described by the equation C_(W)=(1-0.97^(-0.006t)-0.03e^(0.0558t))×337.53+10.50.The present study improved the understanding of the role of trypsin in free fluoride release from Antarctic krill cuticle,facilitating future studies aimed at reducing the fluoride content in krill protein during Antarctic krill processing.

Ecological influence of exotic plants of Sonneratia apetala on understory macrofauna

The study aims to compare the differences of macrofauna communities of wetlands at 3-year-forest- age, 5-year-forest-age Sonneratia apetala artificial mangroves, 5-year-forest-age Kandelia candel ar- tificial mangroves with the same restoration background, and the naked tidal flat in the Qi’ao Island Mangrove Nature Reserve of Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. The results show that there were signif- icant structural differences in macrofauna communities among four kinds of habitats. The increase of biomass and species diversity of macrofauna at 3-year-forest-age S. apetala artificial mangroves was obviously faster than that at 5-year-forest-age K. candel artificial mangroves whose average tree height was close to that of 3-year-forest-age S. apetala artificial mangroves. The BIOENV analysis shows that it was related to the rapid growth of S. apetala, which rapidly changed the light level and shading conditions in the forests. The 5-year-forest-age S. apetala artificial mangroves had lower macrofauna species diversity but higher density and biomass than K. candel artificial mangroves with the same forest age. This was due to the rapid changes of physical and chemical properties of habitat soil by the ecological restoration of S. apetala artificial mangroves as well as the changed food sources possibly caused by the leaf-litter of such non-indigenous mangrove species S. apetala. However, further survey should be conducted on whether there are any negative ecological impacts of large-scale cultivation of S. apetala on macrofauna communities, so as to evaluate correctly S. apetala’s role in the restoration of coastal mangrove ecosystems.

ON MEROMORPHIC SOLUTIONS OF RICCATI AND LINEAR DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS

In this paper, meromorphic solutions of Riccati and linear difference equations are investigated. The growth and Borel exceptional values of these solutions are discussed, and the growth, zeros and poles of differences of these solutions are also investigated. Furthermore, several examples are given showing that our results are best possible in certain senses.

Synthesis,Crystal Structure and Iodine Capture of a Yttrium(Ⅲ) Coordination Polymer with 5-Aminonicotinic Acid

A new coordination polymer, [（C（18）H（16）N4O（18）Y2）（H2O）]n, has been hydrothermally synthesized by reacting yttrium（Ⅲ） nitrate with 5-aminonicotinic acid and ammonium oxalate at a molar ratio of 1：1：1, and its structure was determined by X-ray crystallography with the following data： monoclinic system, space group C2/c, a = 13.4507（10）, b = 11.5829（9）, c = 16.3448（9） ？, a= 89.983（6）, β = 109.056（6）, g = 90.047（6）°, Z = 4, V = 2406.92（14） ？~3, F（000） = 1536, Dc = 2.13079 g/cm^3, R = 0.0284（1695） and w R = 0.0787（2014）. In the asymmetric unit of the compound, each Y（Ⅲ） ion is bonded to eight oxygen atoms from 5-aminonicotinic acid and oxalate groups and terminal-coordinated water molecule, resembling a highly distorted tricapped trigonal geometry. Adjacent three yttrium atoms are bridged by three identically independent oxalate groups in a side-by-side manner to form brickwall-like 2D sheets, and these sheets are further linked through π-π stacking interactions to generate a 3D supramolecular network. The photoluminescent property of the complex was investigated and the iodine capture studies show that the porous frameworks have reversible absorption ability for iodine molecule.

Ecological indicators showing the succession of macrofauna communities in Sonneratia apetala artificial mangrove wetlands on Qi'ao Island at Zhuhai, South China

The Sonneratia apetala artificial mangroves in the intertidal zone of Da Wei Bay at Qi’ao Island of Zhu-hai, South China were chosen as the macrofauna succession plots while bare tidal flats of the same size were established as control plots in surrounding interference-free areas. Conventional change indicators of community structure, such as biomass and biodiversity, and indicators, such as exergy and specific exergy, which reflect the information change of overall communities, were used to analyze the succession of macro-fauna communities inS. apetala artificial mangroves. The similarities and differences in variation tendency of the different ecological indicators and their reflected ecological principles were compared. The results showed that from D-1 to D-1275 after plantingS. apetala, the biomass of the macrofauna communities first increased, which was then followed by an increase in the network relationship between the macrofauna communities （analysis of the Pielou evenness index and Shannon-Wiener diversity index）. The system in-formation （specific exergy） increased the slowest. Between D-1460 and D-2370 after plantingS. apetala, there was a decrease in biomass, network structure, and system information in the succession plots. After the decrease in the system information （the specific exergy）, there was a decline in the network relationships （Pielou evenness index and Shannon-Wiener diversity index）. Biomass was the last indicator to decrease. The similarities and differences among the different ecological indicators varied during the succession pro-cess, which reflected the relativity and differences among the indicators. This study suggested that, although the species diversity index can be an effective indicator of two types of changes （network structure and system information）, it was quite clear that species diversity measurement was not suitable for expressing the changes in biomass during the succession process. While exergy and specific exergy can provide useful information about the structural development of communities, they cannot identify the information state of the system. Therefore, when evaluating macrofaunal succession inS. apetala artificial mangrove wetlands, it would be better to apply a number of different ecological indicators, rather than just one single indicator.

The Neural Mechanisms of Utility and Ethic in the Management Moral Decision Making

The study aimed at investigating the neural mechanism of business moral decision-making. 15 participants were presented with a set of 96 dilemmas in business situation. Participants were required to decide between option 1 (more utilitarian decision for self benefit) and 2 (ethical decision for fairness or institution). ERPs were recorded to a slide displaying the letter 1 and 2 when subjects were deciding between options. The selection rate was calculated after the experiment as the behavior data. The business moral dilemmas prompted more ethical option. A larger P260 component was elicited in the left frontal lobe area when participants were deciding to act ethically. On the other hand, decisions on utilitarian aroused weaker emotional experience, as supported by the shorter LPC and smaller P260 amplitude.

Properties of ground state and anomalous quantum fluctuations in one-dimensional polaron-soliton systems-the effects of electron-two-phonon interaction and non-adiabatic quantum correlations

Based on the Holstein model Hamiltonian of one-dimensional molecular crystals, by making use of the expansion approach of the correlated squeezed-coherent states of phonon instead of the two-phonon coherent state expansion scheme, the properties of the ground state and the anomalous quantum fluctuations are investigated in a strongly coupled electron-phonon system with special consideration of the electron-two-phonon interaction. The effective renormalization （ai） of the displacement of the squeezed phonons with the effect of the squeezed-coherent states of phonon and both the electron-displaced pbonon and the polaron-squeezed phonon correlations have been combined to obtain the anomalous quantum fluctuations for the corrections of the coherent state. Due to these non-adiabatic correlations, the effective displacement parameter ai is larger than the ordinary parameter ai （0） In comparison with the electron-one-phonon interaction （g） corrected as oig, we have found the electron-two-phonon interaction （gl） corrected as ai2gi is enhanced significantly. For this reason, the ground state energy （E（2）） contributed by the electron-two-phonon interaction is more negative than the single-phonon case （E01）） and the soliton solution is more stable. At the same time, the effects of the electron-two-phonon interaction greatly increase the polaron energy and the quantum fluctuations. Furthermore, in a deeper level, we have considered the effect of the polaron-squeezed phonon correlation （f-correlation）. Since this correlation parameter f 〉 1, this effect will strengthen the electron-one and two-phonon interactions by fai9 and f2ai2g1, respectively. The final results show that the ground state energy and the polaron energy will appear more negative further and the quantum fluctuations will gain further improvement.

Oscillation of a Second-order Impulsive Neutral Differential Equation

Oscillation theorems for a second-order impulsive neutral differential equation are established, which extend the main results developed by Li et al[Li et al, Oscillation of second order self-conjugate differential equation with impulses. J Comput Appl Math 197(2006): 78-88] to the considered equation. Two examples are also inserted to illustrate our main results.

The Optimal Matching Parameter of Half Discrete Hilbert Type Multiple Integral Inequalities with Non-Homogeneous Kernels and Applications

By using the weight function method,the matching parameters of the half discrete Hilbert type multiple integral inequality with a non-homogeneous kernel K(n,||x||ρ,m)=G(nλ1||x||ρmλ,2)are discussed,some equivalent conditions of the optimal matching parameter are established,and the expression of the optimal constant factor is obtained.Finally,their applications in operator theory are considered.

Discrete wavelet structure and discrete energy of classical plane light waves

We find by the wavelet transform that the classical plane light wave of linear polarization can be decomposed into a series of discrete Morlet wavelets.In the theoretical frame,the energy of the classical light wave becomes discrete;interestingly,the discretization is consistent with the energy division of P portions in Planck radiation theory,where P is an integer.It is shown that the changeable energy of a basic plane light wave packet or wave train is H_(0k)=nP0 kω(n=1,2,3,...;k=|k|),with discrete wavelet structure parameter n,wave vector k and idler frequency ω,and a constant p0 k.The wave-particle duality from the Mach-Zehnder interference of single photons is simulated by using random basic plane light wave packets.

Framed links in thickened torus are studied. We define the mod 2 Kauffman bracket skein module of thickened torus and give an expression of a framed link in this module. From this expression we propose a new ambient isotopic invariant of framed links.

THE GROWTH OF DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS AND DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

In this paper,we mainly apply a new,asymptotic method to investigate the growth of meromorphic solutions of linear higher order difference equations and differential equations.We delete the condition(1.6)of Theorems E and F,yet obtain the same results for Theorems E and F.We also weaken the condition(1.4)of Theorems C and D.

The Analyticity for the Product of Analytic Functions on Octonions and Its Applications

Given two left Oc-analytic functions f, g in some open set Ω of R8, we obtain some sufficient conditions for fg is also left Oc-analytic in Ω. Moreover, we prove?fλ that is a left Oc-analytic function for any constants λ∈Oc if and only if is a complex Stein-Weiss conjugate harmonic system. Some applications and connections with Cauchy-Kowalewski product are also considered.

A Multimodal Discourse Analysis of the Movie Poster: A.I. Artificial Intelligence from the Perspective of Visual Grammar

This paper carries out a multimodal discourse analysis of a movie poster:A.I.Artificial Intelligence based on the Kress and van Leeuwen’s visual grammar.The result of analysis shows that a movie poster as a special discourse demonstrates greatly the cultural value and artistic charm itself.The analysis might give insight to the design of movie posters.

A novel methodology for constructing a multi-wing chaotic and hyperchaotic system with a unified step function switching control

This paper aims at developing a novel method of constructing a class of multi-wing chaotic and hyperchaotic system by introducing a unified step function. In order to overcome the essential difficulties in iteratively adjusting multiple parameters of conventional multi-parameter control, this paper introduces a unified step function controlled by a single parameter for constructing various multi-wing chaotic and hyperchaotic systems. In particular, to the best of the authors＇ knowledge, this is also the first time to find a non-equilibrium multi-wing hyperchaotic system by means of the unified step function control. According to the heteroclinic loop Shilnikov theorem, some properties for multi-wing attractors and its chaos mechanism are further discussed and analyzed. A circuit for multi-wing systems is designed and implemented for demonstration, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Flexible Zn-ion batteries based on manganese oxides: Progress and prospect

The ever-growing market of wearable electronic devices has greatly stimulated the rapid development of flexible Zn-ion batteries(ZIBs).Manganese oxides are one of the most commonly used hosts for zinc ion accommodation and thus receive particular research interest for high-performance flexible ZIB constructions.In this review,a comprehensive summary of the recent development of flexible ZIBs with manganese oxides as cathode materials is presented.Apart from the brief introduction of flexible electronic devices and ZIBs,the charge storage mechanisms and crystal structures of various manganese oxides are summarized.Modifications of the cathode materials in terms of morphology,conductivity,structures,and flexibilities are illustrated in detail,together with the demonstration of structure-performance relationships and applications in flexible ZIBs.Finally,limitations to be overcome are indicated and the future work directions are proposed.

MicroRNA-34c regulates porcine granulosa cell function by targeting forkhead box O3a

Granulosa cells（GCs） are somatic cells of ovary, the behaviors of GCs are important for ovarian function. MicroRNAs（miRNAs） are a class of endogenous 18–24 nucleotide（nt） non-coding RNAs, some of which have been shown to be important regulators of GCs function. miR-34c involved in the regulation of various biological processes and was identified to be a pro-apoptotic and anti-proliferative factor in many cell types. However, the roles of miR-34c in GCs function remain unknown. In this study, we used Annexin V-FITC and Ed U assays to demonstrate that miR-34c exerted pro-apoptotic and anti-proliferative effects in porcine GCs. Dual-luciferase reporter assays, quantitative real-time PCR（q RT-PCR） and Western blotting identified Forkhead box O3a（Fox O3a） as a direct target gene of miR-34c. The overexpression of FoxO3a rescued the phenotypic change caused by miR-34c in porcine GCs. In conclusion, miR-34c regulate the function of porcine GCs by targeting FoxO3a.
