Spatial-temporal Evolution and Influencing Factors of Digital Financial Inclusion: County-level Evidence from China

The vigorous development of information and communications technology has accelerated reshaping of the financial industry. The COVID-19 pandemic has further catalyzed the demand for digital financial services. Digital financial inclusion relies on information technology to overcome spatial limitations. In this case, the research question is whether it adheres to the spatial laws governing conventional financial activities. This study uses exploratory spatial data analysis and a geographical detector to elucidate the spatiotemporal characteristics and factors influencing digital financial inclusion at the county level in China(Data don’t include that of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of China) from 2014 to 2020. The research findings indicate: first, China’s county-level digital financial inclusion is generally increasing and exhibits significant spatial autocorrelation. Second, population density, level of traditional financial development, government regulation, and education level are key determinants of China’s county-level digital financial inclusion. Third,policies should be differentiated by region to narrow the spatial gap in digital financial inclusion. The results provide a reference for other developing countries on using digital technology to develop financial inclusion.

Currently,Alibaba International Station,as an emerging e-commerce platform in recent years,plays a crucial role in cross-border e-commerce trade.This article describes an overview of Alibaba International Station,as well as the methods of attracting traffic and some current problems encountered.Simultaneously,relevant suggestions are provided based on the problems.

Spatial Pattern of Long-term Residence in the Urban Floating Population of China and its Influencing Factors

Exploring long-term residence among the urban floating population is crucial to understanding urban growth in China,particularly since the 2008 financial crisis.By using China Migrants Dynamic Survey data for 2012–2014,China Labor-force Dynamics Survey data for 2014–2016,and macroscale urban matched data,we analyzed the spatial pattern of long-term residential behavior in China’s urban floating population in 2012–2016 and developed an urban spatial utility equilibrium model containing‘macro’urban factors and‘micro’individual and household factors to explain the pattern.The results first revealed that long-term residence is defined as≥6 yr for the urban floating population in China.Second,members of this population are more likely to be long-term residents of the megacities in the three urban agglomerations in eastern China as well as of small and medium-sized cities in western and northeastern China,whereas short-term residence is more likely in cities in central China and near the three urban agglomerations.Third,urban population density and housing prices,both have a significant U-shaped effect,are main factors affecting the spatial pattern of long-term residence.

Thirteen Ways of Looking at A Blackbird: Deconstruction of Binary Opposition Between Imagination and Reality

Wallace Stevens is one of five greatest poets in America in 20th century. The relation between imagination and reality is a major theme of his poems. He holds the view that the mission of poets is to build a bridge linking the world of imagination and of reality with the result of deconstructing the logic of binary opposition since the time of Plato. Thirteen Ways of Looking at A Blackbird is a representative poem that expresses Wallace’s thoughts of deconstruction. This article is to probe into how the poet establishes the reality dominated by imagination and then how he deconstructs the binary opposition between imagination and reality since the time of Plato.

A Critique of Investment Protection of China’s Multinational Enterprises in Host ASEAN Nations – A Survey of the Legal Requisites for Foreign Investors of Guangdong Corporations in Southeast Asian Nations

As a result of the development of the“One Belt One Road”and“Stepping-out”strategy for multinational enterprises,China’s outward directed investments have grown rapidly.During the transformation period from a capital-importing country to a capital-exporting country,issues of insufficient investment protection laws on China’s outward investment have surfaced.To examine major investment risks,investment dispute settlement mechanisms,and legal barriers of China’s multinational enterprises in ASEAN States,this study selects typical state-owned enterprises and private companies among 300 Guangdong businesses,which invested in ASEAN via data analyses,surveys,and field studies.The findings of this research provide a reference for the investment protection and for the launching of investment litigation of these Chinese multinational enterprises whenever it is required.

A Study on English Pronunciation Problems at Segmental Level of College Students from China's Mainland

English pronunciation at segmental level plays a very significant role in learning and teaching of English pronunciation.This paper aims to investigate into the most salient pronunciation problems at segmental level by college students from China's Mainland(Mandarin L1 speakers)through a close study,and it is found that the problems identified in the segmental aspects of English pronunciation are corresponded with the phonological features of the pronunciation of Chinese English.Moreover,in order to help college students improve their pronunciation and achieve the pronunciation of Standard English,this study provide some pedagogical implications and suggestions about teaching strategies aimed at the most salient problems discovered in the research findings.

On the Legal Status of Sign Language and Braille in China:Development Process and Institutional Evolution

on the 30^(th)anniversary of the implementation of the Law of the people’s Republic of China on the protection of persons with Disabilities,re-examining the standardization of sign language and Braille will help implement the 14^(th)Five-Year plan and further improve the protection system for the rights and interests of persons with disabilities.From the perspective of regulation,conception and cultivation,it is necessary to clarify the legal status of sign language and Braille in China,accelerate the development of education,and heighten the awareness of rights protection.Identifying sign language and Braille either as a part of the standard national spoken and written language or as a supplementary language can both reaffirm their actual status in the practice of language and script standardization,but the actual needs of the promotion and use of sign language and Braille have not yet been met.only when the two are clearly defined as being forms of the standard national spoken and written language can their legal status be fundamentally consolidated,and a systematic structure for the protection of the rights and interests of persons with disabilities be realized.In order to determine the legal status of the two as being forms of the standard national language,a three-level system of“legal foundation-legislative implementation-system support”should be put in place,so as to form a synergy for the promotion of national standard sign language and Braille.

Fermatean Hesitant Fuzzy Prioritized Heronian Mean Operator and Its Application in Multi-Attribute Decision Making

In real life,incomplete information,inaccurate data,and the preferences of decision-makers during qualitative judgment would impact the process of decision-making.As a technical instrument that can successfully handle uncertain information,Fermatean fuzzy sets have recently been used to solve the multi-attribute decision-making(MADM)problems.This paper proposes a Fermatean hesitant fuzzy information aggregation method to address the problem of fusion where the membership,non-membership,and priority are considered simultaneously.Combining the Fermatean hesitant fuzzy sets with Heronian Mean operators,this paper proposes the Fermatean hesitant fuzzy Heronian mean(FHFHM)operator and the Fermatean hesitant fuzzyweighted Heronian mean(FHFWHM)operator.Then,considering the priority relationship between attributes is often easier to obtain than the weight of attributes,this paper defines a new Fermatean hesitant fuzzy prioritized Heronian mean operator(FHFPHM),and discusses its elegant properties such as idempotency,boundedness and monotonicity in detail.Later,for problems with unknown weights and the Fermatean hesitant fuzzy information,aMADM approach based on prioritized attributes is proposed,which can effectively depict the correlation between attributes and avoid the influence of subjective factors on the results.Finally,a numerical example of multi-sensor electronic surveillance is applied to verify the feasibility and validity of the method proposed in this paper.

Investigation and Analysis of the Oral Expression Competency Among Students in Second-tier Universities:Based on China's Standards of English Language Ability

By adopting quantitative analysis,based on the statements for oral scale of CSE(China Standards of English)level five,this paper investigated the current status,common difficulties and control factors on oral English competency of nonEnglish majors in second-tier universities,which was conducted using questionnaires that includes six dimensions of language expression:accuracy,complexity,coherence,fluency,appropriateness,and flexibility.The results showed that:(i)the overall oral English competency of college non-English majors hasn't met the statements of CSE level five;(ii)female students significantly outperformed male students,and business majors students significantly outperformed those in liberal arts majors who were significantly better than those in science majors;(iii)there was no significant difference between grades;(iv)the flexibility,coherence and accuracy of language expression almost reached the standard grade,but the common core difficulties faced by the students were mainly in pronunciation,scope oflanguage expression,fluency and appropriateness.Unclear goals,less practice and poor vocabulary were major impact factors.The research is helpful for strengthening students?knowledge on their own oral English competency as well as adjusting their oral practice objectives,thereby shedding light on students5 actual oral English proficiency and helping to clarify and refine the teaching objectives of speaking and promote the effective practice of oral English as well as the rational application of CSE.

Inter-agency government information sharing under data-driven blockchain framework

The inter-agency government information sharing(IAGIS)plays an important role in improving service and efficiency of government agencies.Currently,there is still no effective and secure way for data-driven IAGIS to fulfill dynamic demands of information sharing between government agencies.Motivated by blockchain and data mining,a data-driven framework is proposed for IAGIS in this paper.Firstly,the blockchain is used as the core to design the whole framework for monitoring and preventing leakage and abuse of government information,in order to guarantee information security.Secondly,a four-layer architecture is designed for implementing the proposed framework.Thirdly,the classical data mining algorithms PageRank and Apriori are applied to dynamically design smart contracts for information sharing,for the purposed of flexibly adjusting the information sharing strategies according to the practical demands of government agencies for public management and public service.Finally,a case study is presented to illustrate the operation of the proposed framework.

Impact of Shipping Distance on Online Retailers' Sales:A Case Study of Maiyang on Tmall

Many studies have qualitatively explained that information and communication technology(ICT) has loosened the restrictions of distance and space on retailers' sales. Few empirical studies, however, have explored the impact of shipping distance on online retailers' sales. This study examined the Maiyang(M-Y) store on Tmall in China as a case study to investigate the relationship between shipping distance and sales. The results showed that sales volume in 2014 at the county level did not strictly obey the distance decay law. The shipped distance of high-priced commodities may not be much longer than that of low-priced commodities. Within the scope of investigation, the relationships between income, cost, and net profit curves do not follow central place theory. Goods have neither thresholds nor ranges. The key factor in the spatial discrepancy of sales is the size of market. The impact of shipping distance on sales is not as strong as that of traditional retailers in Information Era.

ENTIRE FUNCTIONS REPRESENTED BY LAPLACE-STIELTJES TRANSFORMS CONCERNING THE APPROXIMATION AND GENERALIZED ORDER

The first aim of this paper is to investigate the growth of the entire function defined by the Laplace-Stieltjes transform converges on the whole complex plane.By introducing the concept of generalized order,we obtain two equivalence theorems of Laplace-Stiettjes transforms related to the generalized order,A_(n)^(*)andλ_(n).The second purpose of this paper is to study the problem on the approximation of this Laplace-Stieltjes transform.We also obtain some theorems about the generalized order,the error,and the coefficients of Laplace-Stieltjes transforms,which are generalization and improvement of the previous results.

ON ALGEBRAIC SOLUTIONS OF THE SECOND-ORDER COMPLEX DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH ENTIRE ALGEBRAIC ELEMENT COEFFICIENTS

The main purpose of this paper is to study the problems on the existence of algebraic solutions for some second-order complex differential equations with entire algebraic function element coeifficients. Several theorems on the existence of solutions are obtained, which perfect the solution theory of linear complex differential equations.

Research on the Action of Judicial Experience

Judicial experience refers to the knowledge and expertise of the judicial staff which is accumulated during the complex judicial activities,so it makes up the deficiency of the statute law,standardizes the discretion of the judge,ensures the applicability of the law and improves the judicial efficiency. Due to the shortcomings of the case referral system and the judicial interpretation system,it is suggested in the paper that the action mode of the judicial experience be improved through announcing guiding cases,strengthening the guidance of guiding cases and establishing the guarantee mechanism of guiding cases.

PIECEWISE CONTINUOUS SOLUTIONS OF INITIAL VALUE PROBLEMS OF SINGULAR FRACTIONAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH IMPULSE EFFECTS

Results on the existence of piecewise continuous solutions for two classes of initial value problems of impulsive singular fractional differential equations are obtained.

ON THE GENERALIZED ORDER OF DIRICHLET SERIES

By the method of Knopp-Kojima, the generalized order of Dirichlet series is studied and some interesting relations on the maximum modulus, the maximum term and the coefficients of entire function defined by Dirichlet series of slow growth are obtained, which briefly extends some results of paper [1].

THE UNIQUENESS FOR ALGEBROID FUNCTIONS OF FINITE ORDER

In this article,we discuss,by Nevanlinna theory,the influence of multiple values and deficiencies on the uniqueness problem of algebroid functions.We get several uniqueness theorems of algebroid functions which include an at most 3v-valued theorem.These results extend the existing achievements of some scholars.

Spatio-temporal Evolution of China’s Economic Power Based on Asymmetric Theory

In the 21 st century, economic interdependence between countries has gradually become an important source of state power. Globalization and the rise of China’s economy have had a significant impact on other economies around the world. China’s economic influence is becoming more and more important. On the basis of the sensitivity dependence and vulnerability dependence of asymmetric interdependence theory, the economic spillover between countries is selected to construct a quantitative model to measure economic power. This paper analyzes the evolution of China’s economic power both in time and space from 2000 to 2014. Four conclusions were drawn from the study: 1) The spatial spillover effect of China’s economy on other countries has been continuously growing since the beginning of the 21 st century, which has brought about the rapid increase in China’s economic power;2) China’s economic power has been significantly strengthened both in intensity and scope, having expanded from the surrounding countries to the whole world. In 2014, China had a high amount of economic power over 18 countries from the 41 main countries in the world, compared to 2 in 2000;3) China’s power in terms of sensitivity dependence takes on an evolutionary trend from point distribution to flaky growth, and it shows a process ‘from point to line’ from the aspect of spatial diffusion. Furthermore, China’s power in terms of vulnerability dependence shows a trend that extends from the surrounding countries to European and South American countries;4) comprehensively, China’s power in terms of vulnerability dependence is higher than that of sensitivity dependence, and the spatial distribution pattern demonstrates a process from centralization to decentralization from 2000 to 2014.

THE INTEGRATION OF ALGEBROIDAL FUNCTIONS

In this paper, we introduce the integration of algebroidal functions on Riemann surfaces for the first time. Some properties of integration are obtained. By giving the defi- nition of residues and integral function element, we obtain the condition that the integral is independent of path. At last, we prove that the integral of an irreducible algebroidal function is also an irreducible algebroidal function if all the residues at critical points are zeros.
