Discrete Chaos in Fractional Henon Map

In this study, a discrete fractional Henon map is proposed in the Caputo discrete delta’s sense. The results show that the discrete fractional calculus is an efficient tool and the maps derived in this way have simpler forms but hold rich dynamical behaviors.

Existence and Uniqueness of Positive Solution for Third-Order Three-Point Boundary Value Problems

This paper is devoted to the study of the existence and uniqueness of the positive solution for a type of the nonlinear third-order three-point boundary value problem. Our results are based on an iterative method and the Leray-Schauder fixed point theorem.

Researches on Six Lattice-Valued Logic

Based on the direct product of Boolean algebra and Lukasiewicz algebra, six lattice-valued logic is put forward in this paper. The algebraic structure and properties of the lattice are analyzed profoundly and the tautologies of six-valued logic system L6P(X) are discussed deeply. The researches of this paper can be used in lattice-valued logic systems and can be helpful to automated reasoning systems.

Antimicrobial and Antioxidant Activities of Extracts from Bulbs of Lycoris aurea

[Objectives]To explore the antimicrobial and antioxidant activities of flavonoid and polysaccharide extracts from bulbs of Lycoris aurea.[Methods]The disc diffusion method was used to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of flavonoid and polysaccharide extracts from the bulbs of L.aurea.The antioxidant activity was determined by scavenging of hydroxyl and 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazine(DPPH)free radicals,and reducing ability.[Results]Flavonoids were effective on 7 microorganisms,but polysaccharides had no effect.Flavonoids had better hydroxyl free radical scavenging activity and reducing capacity than polysaccharides,but weaker than ascorbic acid.However,flavonoids had similar DPPH free radical activity to ascorbic acid.The strong antibacterial and antioxidant activities of flavonoids were mainly attributed to the high content of total phenols in the extract,which was(76.71±4.42)mg/g.[Conclusions]The study shows that flavonoids from bulbs of L.aurea could be regarded as a new potential source of natural bacterial inhibitors and antioxidants.

Research on the Influencing Factors of Changes in Industrial Carbon Emissions in China: Based on Simplified D&L Model

The simplified D＆L method with special properties required by ideal decomposition method was used to decompose the impact of carbon emission intensity,input-output technology,the final demand structure and the final demand level on changes in industrial carbon emissions in China during 1997-2012. The results showed that the final demand level which was the most important factor leading to the growth of carbon emissions performed a steadily and significantly positive and sustained effect. The carbon emissions intensity which was the only factor that led to the reduction in carbon emissions showed a negative effect. The input-output technology showed a positive effect. The final demand structure underwent a transition from a negative effect to a weak positive effect and finally to a positive effect. In order to achieve the goal of total carbon emission control,China should take some measures such as reducing direct carbon emission coefficient to strengthen the negative impact of carbon emission intensity. Meanwhile,China should implement some structural adjustment measures such as optimizing the final demand structure and reducing the proportion of industries with a great increase of influence coefficient to change the input-output technology and the final demand structure from the positive effect to the negative effect.

Binary Tree’s Recursion Traversal Algorithm and Its Improvement

Binary tree is a very important data structure in computer science. Some major properties are discussed. Both recursive and non-recursive traversal methods of binary tree are discussed in detail. Some improvements in programming are proposed.

Lag Synchronization Between Two Coupled Networks via Open-Plus-Closed-Loop and Adaptive Controls

In this paper,we study lag synchronization between two coupled networks and apply two types of control schemes,including the open-plus-closed-loop(OPCL) and adaptive controls.We then design the corresponding control algorithms according to the OPCL and adaptive feedback schemes.With the designed controllers,we obtain two theorems on the lag synchronization based on Lyapunov stability theory and Barbalat's lemma.Finally we provide numerical examples to show the effectiveness of the obtained controllers and see that the adaptive control is stronger than the OPCL control when realizing the lag synchronization between two coupled networks with different coupling structures.
