It is only 2 km to the north of the Taishen 台神 fortification site. The 1260 burials so far exposed fall into two categories: the vertical shaft pit and the horizontal cave pit. The former category, taking up about one fourth of the entire excavated burials, spans the late Springs and Autumns period through the early Han Dynasty, while the latter, filling the rest three fourth, spans the middle Warring States period through the Han Dynasty.
