The conventional distillation is hard to accomplish the separation of acetonitrile/ethyl acetate/n-hexane mixture. Herein, a heterogeneous azeotropic distillation(HAD) without adding entrainer is proposed to separate ternary mixture. The proposed scheme is optimized via the simulated annealing algorithm and minimum total annual cost(TAC) is used as objective functions. To minimize energy consumption,heat pump is added on the basis of optimal heterogeneous azeotropic distillation and heat integration technology is used to further improve the energy recovery. The TAC, gas emission, energy consumption and exergy destruction are used to discuss the economy and environmental protection of processes.Among all the processes, the heat pump with higher preheating temperature(HPT) assisted HAD process by combining with heat integration(HAD-HPT-HI) has best performances on economic, environment,energy and exergy. Compared with conventional HAD process, the HAD-HPT-HI achieves the reductions of 52.17%, 68.86%, 65.87% and 65.46% on TAC, total energy consumption, gas emissions and exergy destruction, respectively. 展开更多

Exercise, Depression, and Anxiety in Young People: A Cross-Sectional Survey

Background:Depression and anxiety are highly prevalent among adolescents and have multiple negative effects on their physical and mental health.While exercise can reduce the symptoms of depression and anxiety,the rela-tionship between mental disorders among American university students has been rarely reported.Accordingly,this study aimed to explore the association between exercise,depression and anxiety among American university students in the 2018–2019 academic year.Methods:In this cross-sectional study,the association between exercise,depression and anxiety was investigated in a large representative sample of American university students.In the 2018–2019 academic year,university students aged 18+years old from 79 institutions participated in this school-based study.The questionnaire included measurements of demographic characteristics,exercise,and validated screen instructions for depression(PHQ-9)and anxiety(GAD-7).The multivariable logistic regression model was applied to explore the association between exercise,depression and anxiety.Results:A total of 62026 indivi-duals(31.9%males)participated in this survey,and the prevalence of exercising at least 5 h each day was 24.6%.The prevalence of depression and anxiety was 25.7%and 22.3%,respectively.In the multivariable logistic regres-sion model,compared to exercise at least 5 h daily,participants whose exercise less than 1 h daily(OR=1.31[1.29,1.33],p<0.05),2 to 3 h daily(OR=1.13[1.11,1.15],p<0.05),3 to 4 h daily(OR=1.04[1.02,1.06],p<0.05),were correlated with greater odds of depression,while exercise less than 1 h daily(OR=1.23[1.21,1.25],p<0.05),2 to 3 h daily(OR=1.10[1.08,1.12],p<0.05)were significantly correlated with great-er odds of anxiety.Conclusion:Higher levels of exercise are associated with lower risk of depression and anxiety among American university students.Community and school interventions should focus on increasing exercise participation in university populations to promote both physical and mental health. 展开更多

The preparation and application of functional hydrogels based on natural polysaccharides have always been a hot research topic.In this study,using acrylamide(AM)monomer,N,N'-methylene bisacrylamide(MBA)as crosslinking agent,potassium persulfate(K2S2O8)as initiator,in the presence of natural polysaccharide sodium alginate(SA),the PAM/SA hydrogel was prepared by free radical polymerization.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),swelling performance tests,scanning electron microscope(SEM),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),UV-visible spectrophotometer,mechanical property measurements were carried out to analyze the composition,morphology,and performance of the hydrogels.The swelling behavior,dye adsorption performance,and the mechanical properties of PAM/SA hydrogels before and after Fe^(3+)adsorption were studied.The experimental results showed that the introduction of SA with 4.7%,7.8%,and 10.3%effectively improved the mechanical and dye adsorption properties of PAM composite hydrogels.The adsorption capacity of PAM/4.7%SA and PAM/10.3%SA hydrogels at equilibrium can reach 40.01 and 44.02 mg/g for methylene blue,which is higher than the value 13.58 mg/g of pure PAM hydrogel.The compressive strength of pure PAM hydrogel is 0.124 MPa.When the SA content is 4.7%,7.8%,and 10.3%,the compressive strength of the PAM/SA hydrogel was corresponding to 0.130 MPa,0.134 MPa,and 0.152 MPa,respectively.Fe^(3+)was introduced into the PAM/SA hydrogels,and PAM/SA/Fe^(3+)double-network hydrogels with excellent mechanical properties could be prepared by adjusting the SA content(4.7%,7.8%,and 10.3%),soaking time(1 h,2 h,3 h,4 h,5 h,6 h),and Fe^(3+)concentration(4.76%,7.41%,9.09%,and 13.04%).Under the same Fe^(3+)concentration of 9.09%and adsorption time of 4 h,the compressive strengths of the PAM/4.7%SA,PAM/7.8%SA,and PAM/10.3%SA hydrogels could reach 0.354 MPa,0.767 MPa,and 0.778 MPa,respectively. 展开更多

[Objectives]To treat pig farm wastewater and solve the problem of pollution caused by it to surface water or groundwater.[Methods]Fe and Zn/biochar(AC)was prepared by dipping method using pig manure-derived biochar as carrier.The preparation conditions were investigated,and the screened metal-loaded biochar was characterized.Pig farm waste water was treated with metal-loaded biochar-H2O2 catalytic oxidation method.[Results]At the COD concentration of 2904 mg/L,0.02 g Zn/AC and 0.005 mL H2O2 showed the highest COD removal rate(qe)from pig breeding wastewater under conditions of reaction time of 8 h,pH value of 7 and temperature of 55℃,reaching 70.98%.[Conclusions]Fe or Zn-loaded biochar made from pig manure-derived activated carbon has a certain catalytic capacity for the actual oxidation treatment of pig farm wastewater.The activity of Zn/AC was higher,and its COD removal rate from pig farm wastewater was also higher. 展开更多

This paper aims to realize the extensive application of Internet of things technology in urban waterlogging prevention management system, and has analyzed the security requirement and security architecture of Internet of things technology, and discussed the demand of urban waterlogging prevention management system in combination with the key technology of Internet of things technology, to do the overall design and functional design well during designing of urban waterlogging prevention management system. Finally, the application process of the Internet of things technology in Chongqing waterlogging prevention management system is summarized. The application result shows that the flood control and drainage function of Chongqing is gradually improved with smooth drainage facilities;the inspection and maintenance management is gradually standardized;operation monitoring and early warning management is fully strengthened. There is visual management for emergency command and dispatch, and at the same time, the drainage pipe network assessment management can be conducted correctly. 展开更多

Ce-doped Bi2O3 nanopowders were prepared by reverse titration chemical coprecipitation from Bi^3+and Ce^(4+)containing aqueous solution.Techniques of X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopic(TEM)and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)were employed to characterize the as-synthesized materials.The XRD patterns indicated that the peaks can be easily indexed toβ-Bi2O3 and no diffraction peaks of Ce or other impurity phases were detected in the prepared samples.The calculated average crystalline size decreased from 31.72 to 11.96 nm when the Ce content increased from 1 wt%to 10 wt%.The morphology changed from flake-like into the spherical-like with increase in Ce content.The electric conductivity of Ce-doped Bi2O3 electrolyte was also investigated by two probe DC method.Conductivity analysis exhibited that the rate of conductivity increased with increasing Ce^2+ratio,when the Ce concentration was up to 5 wt%,the as-synthesized Ce-doped Bi2O3 electrolyte showed the maximum value of conductivity(0.295 S?cm^(–1)). 展开更多

This article puts forward the routing algorithm of wireless sensor network based on ant colony optimization. The algorithm uses the characteristics of ant colony algorithm that is easy to realize local work, integrates link quality into the pheromone formation and supports multiple routes. When choosing routing, the probability is calculated that the node is selected as the next hop according to the pheromone concentration on the route. The ant colony optimization is self-organized, dynamic and multi-path, so it is very suitable for the routing of wireless sensor network. This algorithm has low routing cost, good self-adaption and supports multiple paths. It can balance energy consumption of the network and prolong the survival time of the network. The thesis makes comparative analysis of the simulation experiment and experimental result, proves that the ant colony algorithm can find the optimal routing in wireless sensor network and reaches the design objective of routing algorithm of wireless sensor network. 展开更多

Phosphazene base,t-BuP2,was employed to catalyze the proton transfer polymerization(PTP)of 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate(HEA),and PTP was further combined with ring-opening polymerization(ROP)to exploit a new type of hybrid copolymerization.The studies on homopolymerization showed that t-BuP2 was a particularly efficient catalyst for the polymerization of HEA at room temperature,giving an excellent monomer conversion.Throughout the polymerization,transesterification reactions were unavoidable,which increased the randomness in the structures of the resulting polymers.The studies on copolymerization showed that t-BuP2 could simultaneously catalyze the hybrid copolymerization via the combination of PTP and ROP at 25°C.During copolymerization,HEA not only provided hydroxyl groups to initiate the ROP ofε-caprolactone(CL)but also participated in the polymerization as a monomer for PTP.The copolymer composition was approximately equal to the feed ratio,demonstrating the possibility to adjust the polymeric structure by simply changing the monomer feed ratio.This copolymerization reaction provides a simple method for synthesizing degradable functional copolymers from commercially available materials.Hence,it is important not only in polymer chemistry but also in environmental and biomedical engineering. 展开更多

The anionic polymerization of methyl methacrylate(MMA) was carried out using phosphazene base t-BuP_4 and ethyl acetate(EA) as the catalyst and the initiator, respectively. Gas chromatography(GC), size exclusion chromatography(SEC) measurements, and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) analyses were used to reveal the polymerization mechanism and to confirm the polymer structure. The results confirmed the proposed polymerization mechanism and the polymer structure, while the initiator efficiency was low. Meanwhile,the initiation by methoxy anion coming from hydrolysis of the ester bond in MMA was also observed. As a result, there is a marked deviation between the theoretical molecular weight and the measured molecular weight, and it is essential to carry out the polymerization at excessive dosage of t-BuP_4 for preparing polymers with narrow molecular weight distribution. 展开更多
