A general model of the quantum Stackelberg duopoly is constructed by introducing the"minimal"quantum structure into the Stackelberg duopoly with continuous distributed incomplete information,where both playe...A general model of the quantum Stackelberg duopoly is constructed by introducing the"minimal"quantum structure into the Stackelberg duopoly with continuous distributed incomplete information,where both players only know the continuous distribution of the competitor's unit cost.In this model,the cases with complete information,discrete distributed incomplete information,and continuous distributed asymmetric information are all involved.Because of different roles played by the total information uncertainty and the information asymmetry,the game exhibits some new interesting features,such as the total information uncertainty can counteract or improve the first-mover advantage according to the value of the quantum entanglement.What's more,this general model will be helpful for the government to reduce the abuses of oligopolistic competition and to improve the economic efficiency.展开更多

We show numerically that generation of entangled states and po...Voltage-controlled quantum dynamics of two quantum-dot molecules(QDMs) embedded in two separated photonic crystal cavities are theoretically investigated. We show numerically that generation of entangled states and population transfer between the two QDMs can be realized with the same coupling parameters. The effects of parameters deviation and dissipations on generation entangled states and populations transfer are also discussed. The results may be used for realization of new-type of solid state quantum devices and integrated electro-optical devices.展开更多

As the filter is in tilted incidence, the reflected-facula broadens and the refiectivity decreases. In this paper, we proposed a frequency recursive algorithm based on fast Fourier transform and Fresnel formula. The reflected-intensity distribution of the narrow- band filter from normal incidence to 40~ tilted incidence was simulated by this frequency recursive algorithm. Meanwhile, the beam field experiments were accordingly performed in this study. Compared with the traditional beam spatial superposition method, the frequency recur- sive algorithm is more efficient and precise in calculating the reflectivity of the reflected beam, suggesting the frequency recursive algorithm may be more helpful for fabricating the three-port tunable thin film filter.展开更多

The cutoff-bands of the s-polarization and p-polarization light in conventional edge filter will separate obviously under 45° oblique incidence, which limits its application. Based on the two chosen materials TiO2 and SiO2, a novel stack structure is proposed to design the non-polarization short-wave-pass thin film edge filter. By using the(4H 4L 4H) as the matching layers, the polarization separation at 3 dB transmittance for the thin film edge filter cutoff-band is less than 1 nm at the incident angle of 45°.
