Enantioseparation of 3-chlorophenylglycine enantiomers using Mandyphos-Pd as chiral extractant

Chiral extractant plays a key role in chiral extraction,and considerable efforts have been undertaken for the development of new and efficient chiral extractants in recent years.This work demonstrated for the first time that chiral ferrocenyl diphosphine ligand(Mandyphos-Pd)had considerable ability to enantioseparate 3-Chlorophenylglycine enantiomers with separation factor(α)of 2.64.Mandyphos-Pd concentration and pH had significant influences on enantioselectivity,while operating temperature showed less influence.The extraction experiments can be performed at room temperature(20℃)which had the advantage of energy saving.After optimization,the highest performance factor(pf,0.08376)was obtained at the condition of pH 7.8 and Mandyphos-Pd concentration 1.2 mmol·L^(-1).According to the experimental results,the possible recognition mechanism was discussed. 展开更多

Safely and highly selective acetylene(C_(2)H_(2))capture is a great challenge,because of its highly explosive nature,as well as its nearly similar molecule size and boiling point toward the main impurity of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)).Adsorption separation has shown a promising future.Herein,a new nanoporous coordination polymer(PCP)adsorbent with fixed and free Cu ions(termed NTU-66-Cu)was prepared through post-synthetic approach via cation exchanging from the pristine NTU-66,an anionic framework with new 3,4,6-c topology and two kinds of cages.The NTU-66-Cu shows significantly improved C_(2)H_(2)/CO_(2)selectivity from 6 to 32(v/v:1/1)or 4 to 4_(2)(v/v:1/4)at low pressure under 298 K,along with enhanced C_(2)H_(2)capacity(from 89.22to 111.53 cm^(3)·g^(-1)).More importantly,this observation was further validated by density functional theory(DFT)calculations and breakthrough experiments under continuous and dynamic conditions.Further,the excellent chemical stability enables this adsorbent to achieve recycle C_(2)H_(2)/CO_(2)separation without loss of C_(2)H_(2)capacity. 展开更多

Directly monitoring mitophagy-specific viscosity dynamic in living cells is of great significance but remains challenging.Herein,this study reported a novel mitochondria-targeted fluorescent probe DPACDY based on vibration-induced emission(VIE)for monitoring viscosity changes during mitochondrial autophagy.This probe contained N,N’-diphenyl-dihydrodibenzo[a,c]phenazine(DPAC)as the VIE core and two positively charged pyridinium moieties for mitochondria anchoring.As the ambient viscosity increased,the vibration of DPAC-DY could be hindered,and subsequently resulting in the enhancement of fluorescence emission.In vitro and intracellular experiments indicated that the probe DPAC-DY showed highly sensitive response to viscosity due to VIE mechanism.Importantly,by virtue of this probe,in situ and real-time visualization of the specific viscosity dynamics during the mitochondrial autophagy process was achieved.Thus,this work provides a novel strategy for VIE-based viscosity response sensors applied to specific organelles and offers a platform for in-depth study of mitochondrial viscosity-related diseases. 展开更多

In this review,the recent development about using DESs as green solvents in transition metal catalyzed organic reactions was highlighted.Firstly,the development of DESs was simply introduced.After presenting the advantages of DESs,transition metals catalyzed organic reactions using DESs as green solvents were classified and introduced in detail.Different transition metals such as Au,metal impregnated on magnetite,Pd and Ru catalyzed organic reactions proceeded smoothly in DESs and gave corresponding products in good yields.And in some cases,the catalytic systems could be recycled up to several times without any decrease in activity. 展开更多
