This paper first calculates numerically the Symmetric Information Rate (SIR) of Cotinuous Phase Modulation (CPM) schemes over Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel, modeling CPM and channel as a Memory-less Modulator (MM) plus a Markov Finite State Channel (FSMC), then proposes an optimal detector, which is of BCJR based Decision Feedback Detector (DFD) but non-iterative. It can achieve the SIR as the sequence length approaches infinity while the complexity is extremely low. Finally, both theoretic proof and numerical simulation are performed to show the op- timality. Simulation results show that it nearly achieves the theoretic bound and outperforms the Viterbi Detector (VD) with 2dB in low Eb/N0. 展开更多

Wireless Ad Hoc Sensor Networks (WSNs) have received considerable academia research attention at present. The energy-constraint sensor nodes in WSNs operate on limited batteries, so it is a very important issue to use energy efficiently and reduce power consumption. To maximize the network lifetime, it is essential to prolong each individual node’s lifetime through minimizing the transmission energy consumption, so that many minimum energy routing schemes for traditional mobile ad hoc network have been developed for this reason. This paper presents a novel minimum energy routing algorithm named Load-Balanced Minimum Energy Routing (LBMER) for WSNs considering both sensor nodes’ energy consumption status and the sensor nodes’ hierarchical congestion levels, which uses mixture of energy balance and traffic balance to solve the problem of “hot spots” of WSNs and avoid the situation of “hot spots” sensor nodes using their energy at much higher rate and die much faster than the other nodes. The path router established by LBMER will not be very congested and the traffic will be distributed evenly in the WSNs. Simulation results verified that the LBMER performance is better than that of Min-Hop routing and the existing minimum energy routing scheme MTPR (Total Transmission Power Routing). 展开更多

It can be expressed as the convolution between the Dirac function and the Sinc and Lorenz functions. It is helpful to deepen the recognition of the restricted diffraction. The characteristic of the diffractive field is discussed. The variational curve of the full angle width at half maximum intensity of central bright fringe versus the half width of slit is presented by numerical calculation, and the fitting curve with the exponential function is close to it. 展开更多

Custom clock network con- taining hand-adjusted buffers and variable routing rules is constructed to realize balanced synchronization. Effective power plan considering both IR drop and electromigration achieves high utilization and maintains power integrity in our MediaSoC. Using such methods, deep sub-micron design challenges are managed under a fast prototyping methodology, which greatly shortens the design cycle. 展开更多

Proportional integrator (PI) is always adopted in the resonant frequency servo loop in a resonator micro optic gyro (RMOG). The oscillation phenomenon is observed when adjusting the loop gain surpassing a threshold. This phenomenon limits system performance on step response speed and residual error. Based on the experiment system, a simulation model was set up. Further analysis shows that the threshold gain is related to the system loop filter setting and the loop delay. The traditional PI frequency servo loop technique in the RMOG system cannot keep up with the environment's disturbance quickly enough, which leads to a large residual error. A compensating method is proposed to optimize the tracking performance, solve the oscillation problem, and speed up the system response. Simulation and experiment results show that the compensated system is superior in performance. It has less residual error in the stable state and is 10 times quicker than the uncompensated system on the step response. 展开更多
