BACKGROUND There are limited data on the use of glucose transport protein 1(GLUT-1)expre-ssion as a biomarker for predicting lymph node metastasis in patients with colorectal cancer.GLUT-1 and GLUT-3,hexokinase(HK)-II...BACKGROUND There are limited data on the use of glucose transport protein 1(GLUT-1)expre-ssion as a biomarker for predicting lymph node metastasis in patients with colorectal cancer.GLUT-1 and GLUT-3,hexokinase(HK)-II,and hypoxia-induced factor(HIF)-1 expressions may be useful biomarkers for detecting primary tumors and lymph node metastasis when combined with fluorodeoxyglucose(FDG)uptake on positron emission tomography/computed tomography(PET/CT).AIM To evaluate GLUT-1,GLUT-3,HK-II,and HIF-1 expressions as biomarkers for detecting primary tumors and lymph node metastasis with 18F-FDG-PET/CT.METHODS This retrospective study included 169 patients with colorectal cancer who underwent colectomy and preoperative 18F-FDG-PET/CT at Chungbuk National University Hospital between January 2009 and May 2012.Two tissue cores from the central and peripheral areas of the tumors were obtained and were examined by a dedicated pathologist,and the expressions of GLUT-1,GLUT-3,HK-II,and HIF-1 were determined using immunohisto-chemical staining.We analyzed the correlations among their expressions,various clinicopathological factors,and the maximum standardized uptake value(SUVmax)of PET/CT.RESULTS GLUT-1 was found at the center or periphery of the tumors in 109(64.5%)of the 169 patients.GLUT-1 positivity was significantly correlated with the SUVmax of the primary tumor and lymph nodes,regardless of the biopsy site(tumor center,P<0.001 and P=0.012;tumor periphery,P=0.030 and P=0.010,respectively).GLUT-1 positivity and negativity were associated with higher and lower sensitivities of PET/CT,respectively,for the detection of lymph node metastasis,regardless of the biopsy site.GLUT3,HK-II,and HIF-1 expressions were not significantly correlated with the SUVmax of the primary tumor and lymph nodes.CONCLUSION GLUT-1 expression was significantly correlated with the SUVmax of 18F-FDG-PET/CT for primary tumors and lymph nodes.Clinicians should consider GLUT-1 expression in preoperative endoscopic biopsy in interpreting PET/CT findings.展开更多
This proposal expresses a standpoint concerning a discussion for the phenomenon of a poor sense of copyright in Chinese youth netizens and the suggestion.The phenomenon of a poor sense of copyright in Chinese youth ne...This proposal expresses a standpoint concerning a discussion for the phenomenon of a poor sense of copyright in Chinese youth netizens and the suggestion.The phenomenon of a poor sense of copyright in Chinese youth netizens has disadvantages.By analyzing it,a clear status of Chinese youth netizens'problems on the poor sense of copyright will be shown.At the same time,when we consider a discussion for the phenomenon of a poor sense of copyright in Chinese youth netizens and the suggestion,we must address several main reasons that contribute to problem.These include cultural tradition restriction,incomprehensive market system,inappropriate price incentive,imperfective legal institutions and indifference education system.It is valuable for the originators feel free to create better works.Meanwhile,those factors are essential for Chinese youth netizens to consider the way to be cultivated the right spending habits.Only by analyzing all these factors together and then using these results to apply to intensity notional cultural competitiveness and form an innovative market.This paper is organized as follows:The first part will outline the poor sense of copyright in Chinese youth netizens'case studies and analyze.The second part is an introduction of the problems of the phenomenon of a poor sense of copyright in Chinese youth netizens.The reasons causing the problems are analyzed in part three.Some proposals to overcome copyright problem will be advocated in last part.This study found that enhancing copyright awareness is a very complex task for Chinese youth netizens.Cultural tradition restriction,incomprehensive market system,inappropriate price incentive,imperfective legal institutions and indifference education system are all factors which bring difficulties to promote copyright awareness in Chinese youth netizens.Combined those factors with four problems of the phenomenon in China,I offer appropriate suggestions to overcome problems and help youth netizens acquire the knowledge of copyright.展开更多
Objective Hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection,which has been recognized as an international public health challenge,has caused significant morbidity for the entire world.This research focused on patients with HBV in China...Objective Hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection,which has been recognized as an international public health challenge,has caused significant morbidity for the entire world.This research focused on patients with HBV in China to examine health utilization and expenses.Methods Patients hospitalized with HBV from 2017 to 2019 in tertiary hospitals in Hubei,a province located in central China,were selected as the study population.Healthcare information was collected from the provincial inpatient electronic system database.Univariate and regression analyses were performed to describe the basic situation of healthcare services and determine the influencing indicators of inpatient service expenditure.Results A total of 367381 cases of HBV infection were identified in the study area.Most of these cases were patients who were married(90.2%)and males(63%).With the great efforts by the universal coverage of the basic medical insurance(BMI)in China,the increasing rate of inpatient hospitalization for HBV was 3.5 times higher than that of the total inpatient health service cases in the study area.The average age of this group was 52.84±14.10 years and 11.1%of patients paid for their own medical expenditures without insurance.The average length of stay(LOS)was 11.10 days,and the average cost per patient was 15712.05 RMB.Both values were higher than the average level in study area.Gender,marital status,career,payment type,and kind of hospitals significantly influenced healthcare utilization.Males and the elderly might incur higher healthcare costs than their counterparts.Conclusion The BMI operated by government has played a role in the utilization release of health services for HBV carriers.However,researchers must pay more attention to the continuing increase in the medical expenses of this group.展开更多
Due to chemical inertness of nickel and boron,the preparation of nickel borides and corresponding layered ternary transition metal borides Ni_(3)ZnB_(2)(MAB phase)has always required high-temperature and/or high-press...Due to chemical inertness of nickel and boron,the preparation of nickel borides and corresponding layered ternary transition metal borides Ni_(3)ZnB_(2)(MAB phase)has always required high-temperature and/or high-pressure conditions.Yet,an innovative and efficient approach to preparing Ni_(3)ZnB_(2)at only 600℃and without applied pressure is presented in this study.It is discovered that by simply adjusting the temperature,a phase transition from Ni_(3)ZnB_(2)to Ni4B3 with a layered structure could be induced.This transition between the binary-component and the ternary-component brings about significant variation in electromagnetic wave(EMW)shielding/absorption performance of prepared borides.For instance,Ni2B has good EMW shielding performance(42.54 dB in X band)and Ni_(3)ZnB_(2)is of weak EMW shielding(13.43 dB in X band);Ni_(3)ZnB_(2)has poor EMW absorption performance(−5 dB)while Ni4B3 has excellent EMW absorption performance(−45.19 dB)at a thickness of 2.7 mm with effective absorption bandwidth(10.4 GHz).展开更多

Background:To investigate the factors associating with the cumulative clinical pregnancy outcome of in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET)in women aged 35 years and older with normal ovarian reserve.Methods:A ...Background:To investigate the factors associating with the cumulative clinical pregnancy outcome of in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET)in women aged 35 years and older with normal ovarian reserve.Methods:A total of 358 patients undergoing IVF-ET at the Department of Reproductive Medicine,the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University between January 2014 and June 2016 were analyzed by the Kaplan-Meier method and Cox proportional hazards model.Results:The probability of pregnancy in women 35-37 years of age and 38-40 years of age was 75.9%(95%confidence interval[CI]:75.1%-76.7%)and 66.9%(95%CI:65.6%-68.2%),respectively,and it was 37.8%(95%CI:34.7%-41.1%)in women aged 40 years and older.Univariate analysis(hazard ratio[HR]:2.50,95%CI:1.647-3.774)and multivariate analysis(HR:2.17,95%CI:1.427-3.268)showed a correlation between the number of retrieved oocytes and successful pregnancy.Conclusions:The number of retrieved oocytes plays a key role in the pregnancy outcome of women aged 35 years and older with normal ovarian reserve.We recommend the number of retrieved oocytes be increased for women aged 35 years and older with normal ovarian reserve.展开更多

Early distinction of bipolar disorder(BD)from major depressive disorder(MDD)is difficult since no tools are available to estimate the risk of BD.In this study,we aimed to develop and validate a model of oxidative stre...Early distinction of bipolar disorder(BD)from major depressive disorder(MDD)is difficult since no tools are available to estimate the risk of BD.In this study,we aimed to develop and validate a model of oxidative stress injury for predicting BD.Data were collected from 1252 BD and 1359 MDD patients,including 64 MDD patients identified as converting to BD from 2009 through 2018.30 variables from a randomly-selected subsample of 1827(70%)patients were used to develop the model,including age,sex,oxidative stress markers(uric acid,bilirubin,albumin,and prealbumin),sex hormones,cytokines,thyroid and liver function,and glycolipid metabolism.Univariate analyses and the Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator were applied for data dimension reduction and variable selection.Multivariable logistic regression was used to construct a model for predicting bipolar disorder by oxidative stress biomarkers(BIOS)on a nomogram.Internal validation was assessed in the remaining 784 patients(30%),and independent external validation was done with data from 3797 matched patients from five other hospitals in China.10 predictors,mainly oxidative stress markers,were shown on the nomogram.The BIOS model showed good discrimination in the training sample,with an AUC of 75.1%(95%CI:72.9%–77.3%),sensitivity of 0.66,and specificity of 0.73.The discrimination was good both in internal validation(AUC 72.1%,68.6%–75.6%)and external validation(AUC 65.7%,63.9%–67.5%).In this study,we developed a nomogram centered on oxidative stress injury,which could help in the individualized prediction of BD.For better real-world practice,a set of measurements,especially on oxidative stress markers,should be emphasized using big data in psychiatry.展开更多

文摘Due to chemical inertness of nickel and boron,the preparation of nickel borides and corresponding layered ternary transition metal borides Ni_(3)ZnB_(2)(MAB phase)has always required high-temperature and/or high-pressure conditions.Yet,an innovative and efficient approach to preparing Ni_(3)ZnB_(2)at only 600℃and without applied pressure is presented in this study.It is discovered that by simply adjusting the temperature,a phase transition from Ni_(3)ZnB_(2)to Ni4B3 with a layered structure could be induced.This transition between the binary-component and the ternary-component brings about significant variation in electromagnetic wave(EMW)shielding/absorption performance of prepared borides.For instance,Ni2B has good EMW shielding performance(42.54 dB in X band)and Ni_(3)ZnB_(2)is of weak EMW shielding(13.43 dB in X band);Ni_(3)ZnB_(2)has poor EMW absorption performance(−5 dB)while Ni4B3 has excellent EMW absorption performance(−45.19 dB)at a thickness of 2.7 mm with effective absorption bandwidth(10.4 GHz).
文摘A Shallow Water Wave-like nonlinear differential equation is considered by using the generalized bilinear equation with the generalized bilinear derivatives D3,x and D3,t, which possesses the same bilinear form as the standard shallow water wave bilinear equation. By symbolic computation, four presented classes of rational solutions contain all rational solutions to the resulting Shallow Water Wave-like equation, which generated from a search for polynomial solutions to the corresponding generalized bilinear equation.
文摘Using the bifurcation theory of dynamical systems to a class of nonlinear fourth order analogue of the B(m,n) equation, the existence of solitary wave solutions, periodic cusp wave solutions, compactons solutions, and uncountably infinite many smooth wave solutions are obtained. Under different parametric conditions, various sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of the above solutions are given. Some exact explicit parametric representations of the above waves are determined.

文摘To the Editor:The shortage of deceased donor(DD)kidneys for transplantation remains a persistent concern.Despite the potential reversibility of acute kidney injury(AKI)lesions,kidneys from pediatric donors with AKI are often underutilized,especially in the context of pediatric transplantation.By implementing single kidney transplantation(SKT)from pediatric donors to pediatric recipients(PTP),we can optimize the utilization of available kidneys and increase the number of pediatric recipients.

文摘Summary What is already known about this topic?Metabolic syndrome(MetS)is one of the most easily available health indicative markers for cardiovascular diseases,and it has become a major public health problem worldwide due to increasing urbanization and aging populations.The prevalence of MetS increased dramatically in China,however,there are no records of MetS defined by the 2017 Chinese Diabetes Society for Beijing by far.What is added by this report?In this study,the data of 24,412 participants aged 18–74 years from a large population-based study in Beijing was collected.The overall prevalence of MetS among Beijing residents was 24.5%.The prevalence was 35.2%in males and 15.4%in females.What are the implications for public health practice?Effective public health strategies should target males,people with older age,lower education,higher body mass index,smokers,those who drink alcohol,those who are unemployed or retired,and those who live in rural areas on MetS prevention and control.

文摘In this paper,we investigate the topological stability and pseudo-orbit tracing property for homeomorphisms on uniform spaces.We introduce the concept of topological stability for homeomorphisms on compact uniform spaces and prove that if a homeomorphism on a compact uniform space is expansive and has pseudo-orbit tracing property,then it is topologically stable.Moreover,we discuss the topological stability for homeomorphisms on uniform spaces from the view of localization.We introduce definitions of topologically stable point and shadowable point for homeomorphisms on uniform spaces and show that every shadowable point of an expansive homeomorphism on a compact uniform space is topologically stable.
文摘Background:To investigate the factors associating with the cumulative clinical pregnancy outcome of in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET)in women aged 35 years and older with normal ovarian reserve.Methods:A total of 358 patients undergoing IVF-ET at the Department of Reproductive Medicine,the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University between January 2014 and June 2016 were analyzed by the Kaplan-Meier method and Cox proportional hazards model.Results:The probability of pregnancy in women 35-37 years of age and 38-40 years of age was 75.9%(95%confidence interval[CI]:75.1%-76.7%)and 66.9%(95%CI:65.6%-68.2%),respectively,and it was 37.8%(95%CI:34.7%-41.1%)in women aged 40 years and older.Univariate analysis(hazard ratio[HR]:2.50,95%CI:1.647-3.774)and multivariate analysis(HR:2.17,95%CI:1.427-3.268)showed a correlation between the number of retrieved oocytes and successful pregnancy.Conclusions:The number of retrieved oocytes plays a key role in the pregnancy outcome of women aged 35 years and older with normal ovarian reserve.We recommend the number of retrieved oocytes be increased for women aged 35 years and older with normal ovarian reserve.

When f(·) is known, we investigate the asymptotic normality for wavelet estimators of β and g(·) under {ei, 1 ≤ i ≤ n} is a sequence of identically distributed α-mixing errors;when f(·) is unknown, the asymptotic normality for wavelet estimators of β, g(·) and f(·) are established under independent errors. A simulation study is provided to illustrate the feasibility of the theoretical result that the authors derived.

文摘Early distinction of bipolar disorder(BD)from major depressive disorder(MDD)is difficult since no tools are available to estimate the risk of BD.In this study,we aimed to develop and validate a model of oxidative stress injury for predicting BD.Data were collected from 1252 BD and 1359 MDD patients,including 64 MDD patients identified as converting to BD from 2009 through 2018.30 variables from a randomly-selected subsample of 1827(70%)patients were used to develop the model,including age,sex,oxidative stress markers(uric acid,bilirubin,albumin,and prealbumin),sex hormones,cytokines,thyroid and liver function,and glycolipid metabolism.Univariate analyses and the Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator were applied for data dimension reduction and variable selection.Multivariable logistic regression was used to construct a model for predicting bipolar disorder by oxidative stress biomarkers(BIOS)on a nomogram.Internal validation was assessed in the remaining 784 patients(30%),and independent external validation was done with data from 3797 matched patients from five other hospitals in China.10 predictors,mainly oxidative stress markers,were shown on the nomogram.The BIOS model showed good discrimination in the training sample,with an AUC of 75.1%(95%CI:72.9%–77.3%),sensitivity of 0.66,and specificity of 0.73.The discrimination was good both in internal validation(AUC 72.1%,68.6%–75.6%)and external validation(AUC 65.7%,63.9%–67.5%).In this study,we developed a nomogram centered on oxidative stress injury,which could help in the individualized prediction of BD.For better real-world practice,a set of measurements,especially on oxidative stress markers,should be emphasized using big data in psychiatry.
