It is rewarding to prospect the gold abundance in marine sediments through the study of the geology of gold deposits in China. This note reports for the first time the gold abundance in the China Sea sediments. 233 samples including various sediments are selected from the Bohai Sea, the Huanghai Sea, the East China Sea and the South China Sea. They represent a wide distribution range. Among them, 209 are collected from the shelf sea areas where the water depth is less than 200 m. Besides, 24 samples are obtained from Okinawa Trough on the East China Sea continental slope.展开更多
