First of all, the necessity of establishing financial centres is expounded. The establishment of financial centres has a lot of benefits to the world economic development, China’s economy and the occupied cities. The location conditions of financial centres may be summarized as follows: the location of trade centre, the factors of geographical position, the circumstances of finance, etc.. We consider that the first batch of financial centres in China should be established in the eastern cities of China. So 9 eastern cities in China are chosen as the spare financial centres. According to the location conditions of financial centres, 12 indices are chosen and the method of synthetic weighted average is used to find the best locations of financial centres. The conclusions are that the grade A financial centres should be in Shanghai and the grade B should be in Tianjin and Guangzhou. 展开更多

The Qinghai-Xizang Plateau is a unique physico-geographical region on the earth. As a whole, the spatial differentiation of physico-geographical regions of the plateau is mainly determined by topographic configuration and atmospheric circulation, warm and humid in the southeast, cold and arid in the northwest. The natural landscapes apppear in the following succession: forest → meadow → steppe → desert. The system of physico-geographical regions of the plateau is demarcated on the principle of bio-climate or the principle of three dimension zonality. Based on the thermal conditions, moisture regimes and variation in landform the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau is sequentially demarcated. The duration of mean daily temperature above 10℃ is the principal index, the subsidiary criterion is mean temperature of the warmest month, two temperature belts may be divided: plateau subpolar and plateau temperate. Annual aridity is taken as the principal index, subordinated by annual precipitation. Four moisture 展开更多

Based on monthly mean temperature and precipitation, the changing processes and tendencies of temperature and precipitation in Qinghai-Xizang Plateau from 1950s to the early 1990s are analysed. The change of temperature in the past 40 a is almost unanimous on the spatial scale. The first area becoming warmer is the southeastern Tibet. The plateau is divided into 5 parts according to the change of temperature, and 9 parts according to the change of precipitation. For the past 40a some area has been warmer and drier, others warmer and wetter. 展开更多
