In the spacecraft’s orbital plane, the space non-cooperate target with autonomous approaching to the spacecraft may have a dangerous rendezvous. To deal with this problem, an optimal maneuvering strategy based on the relative navigation observability degree is proposed with angles-only measurements. A maneuver evasion relative navigation model in the spacecraft’s orbital plane is constructed and the observability measurement criteria with process noise and measurement noise are defined based on the posterior Cramer-Rao lower bound. Further, the optimal maneuver evasion strategy in spacecraft’s orbital plane based on the observability is proposed. The strategy provides a new idea for spacecraft to evade safety threats autonomously. Compared with the spacecraft evasion problem based on the absolute navigation, more accurate evasion results can be obtained. The simulation indicates that this optimal strategy can weaken the system’s observability and reduce the state estimation accuracy of the non-cooperative target, making it impossible for the non-cooperative target to accurately approach the spacecraft.展开更多

Using three gallium-arsenide solar cell samples, the gap lengths of the solar cell are set to 1, 2, and 3 mm. First, the primary arc voltage characteristics of a solar array are analyzed. It is found that two steps are involved in the primary arc voltages, which are 116 and 22 V according to our experiment and are independent of the electrostatic discharge current and the gap lengths. By comparing with the arc pattern, we determined that current chopping may be the reason for the stepped arc voltage. Then, the characteristics of the secondary arc of the solar array are demonstrated. The study shows that the secondary arc voltage values increase with the gap length. In the case of the same cell with a fixed gap length, the voltage of the secondary arc increases with the string current. Finally, the relationship between the secondary arc voltage and the gap length is obtained which helps the string voltage and the gap length selection for system design.展开更多

Considering that cable-driven parallel mechanisms have the advantages of high payload to weight ratio, potentially large workspace, and high-speed motion, these mechanisms have the potential to be used for lunar takeo simulations. Thus, this paper presents a parallel mechanism driven by nine cables. The purpose of this study is to optimize the dimensions of the cable-driven parallel mechanism to meet dynamic workspace requirements under cable tension constraints. The dynamic workspace requirements are derived from the kinematical function requests of the lunar takeo simulation equipment. Experimental design and response surface methods are adopted for building the surrogate mathematical model linking the optimal variables and the optimization indices. A set of dimensional parameters are determined by analyzing the surrogate mathematical model. The volume of the dynamic workspace increased by 46% after optimization. Besides, a force control method is proposed for calculating output vector and sinusoidal forces. A force control loop is introduced into the traditional position control loop to adjust the cable force precisely, while controlling the cable length. The e ectiveness of the proposed control method is verified through experiments. A 5% vector output accuracy and 12 Hz undulation force output can be realized. This paper proposes a cable-driven parallel mechanism which can be used for lunar takeo simulation.展开更多

Marine applications, i.e., winds and waves retrieved from GF-3 SAR images, have been operational since January 2017. In this study, we have collected more than 1000 quad-polarization(vertical-vertical(VV); horizontal-horizontal(HH); vertical-horizontal(VH); horizontal-vertical(HV)) GF-3 SAR images, which were acquired around the China Seas from September 2016 to September 2017. Wind streaks were visible in these images in co-polarization(VV and HH) channel. Geophysical model functions(GMFs), including the CMOD5N together with polarization ratio(PR) model and C-SARMOD, were used to retrieve winds from the collected co-polarization GF-3 SAR images. Wind directions were directly obtained from GF-3 SAR images. Then, the SAR-derived wind speeds were compared with the measurements at a 0.25? grid from the Advanced Scatterometer on board the Metop-A/B and microwave radiometer WindSAT. Based on the analysis, empirical corrections are proposed to improve the performance of the two GMFs. Results of this study show that the standard deviation of wind speed is 1.63 m s^(-1) with a 0.19 m s^(-1) bias and 1.71 m s^(-1) with a 0.26 m s^(-1) bias for VV-and HH-polarization GF-3 SAR, respectively. Our work not only systematically evaluates wind retrieval by using the two advanced GMFs and PR models but also proposes empirical corrections to improve the accuracy of wind retrievals from GF-3 SAR images around the China Seas and thus enhance the accuracy of near real-time operational SAR-derived wind products.展开更多

The lattice constants and mass density of the MgSiO3 crystal as functions of pressure are computed, and the corresponding bulk modulus and bulk velocity are evaluated. Our theoretical results agree well with the high-pressure experimental data. A thermodynamic method is introduced to correct the temperature effect on the O-K first-principles results of bulk wave velocity, bulk modulus and mass density in lower mantle PIT range. Taking into account the temperature corrections, the corrected mass density, bulk modulus and bulk wave velocity of MgSiO3-perovskite are estimated from the first-principles results to be 2%, 4%, and 1% lower than the preliminary reference Earth model (PREM) profile, respectively, supporting the possibility of a pure perovskite lower mantle model.展开更多

文摘Actuator plays a significant role in soft robotics. This paper proposed an ultralong stretchable soft actuator(US2A)with a variable and sizeable maximum elongation. The US2A is composed of a silicone rubber tube and a bellows woven sleeve. The maximal extension can be conveniently regulated by just adjusting the wrinkles’initial angle of the bellows woven sleeve. The kinematics of US2A could be obtained by geometrically analyzing the structure of the bellows woven sleeve when the silicone rubber tube is inflated.Based on the principle of virtual work, the actuating models have been established:the pressure-elongation model and the pressure-force model. These models reflect the influence of the silicone tube’s shell thickness and material properties on the pneumatic muscle’s performance, which facilitates the optimal design of US2A for various working conditions. The experimental results showed that the maximum elongation of the US2A prototype is 257%,and the effective elongation could be variably regulated in the range of 0 and 257%.The proposed models were also verified by pressure-elongation and pressure-force experiments, with an average error of 5%and 2.5%,respectively.Finally,based on the US2A,we designed a pneumatic rehabilitation glove, soft arm robot, and rigid-soft coupling continuous robot, which further verified the feasibility of US2A as a soft driving component.

文摘A bulk nanocrystalline AZ31B Mg alloy with extraordinarily high strength was prepared via cryogenic rotary swaging in this study. The obtained alloy shows finer grains, higher strength, and a negligible tension-compression yield asymmetry, compared with that prepared via room-temperature rotary swaging.Transmission electron microscopy investigations showed that at the initial stage, multiple twins, mostly tension twins, were activated and intersected with each other, thereby refining the coarse grains into a fine lamellar structure. Then, two types of nanoscale subgrains were generated with increasing swaging strain. The first type of nanoscale subgrain contained twin boundaries and low-angle grain boundaries. This type of subgrain appeared at the twin-twin intersections and was mainly driven by high local stress. The second type of nanoscale subgrain was formed within the twin lamellae. The boundaries of this type of subgrain did not contain twin boundaries and were transformed from massive dislocation arrays. Finally, randomly oriented nanograins were obtained via dynamic recrystallization, under the combined function of deformation heat and increased stored energy.Compared with room-temperature rotary swaging, cryogenic rotary swaging exhibits a slower grain refinement process but a remarkably enhanced grain refinement effect after the same five-pass swaging.

文摘The temperature response calculation of thermal protection materials, especially ablative thermal protection materials, usually adopts the ablation model, which is complicated in process and requires a large amount of calculation.Especially in the process of optimization calculation and parameter identification, the ablation model needs to be called many times,so it is necessary to construct an ablation surrogate model to improve the computational efficiency under the premise of ensuring the accuracy. In this paper, the Gaussian process model method is used to construct a thermal protection material ablation surrogate model, and the prediction accuracy of the surrogate model is improved through optimization.

文摘This paper proposes an explicit method for topology optimization of stiffened plate structures. The present work is devoted to simultaneously optimizing stiffeners’shape, size and layout by seeking the optimal geometry parameters of a series of moving morphable components(MMC).The stiffeners with straight skeletons and the stiffeners with curved skeletons are considered to enhance the modeling and optimization capability of the current approach. All the stiffeners are represented under the Lagrangian-description framework in a fully explicit way,and the adaptive ground structure method,as well as dynamically updated plate/shell elements,is used to obtain optimized designs with more accurate analysis results.Compared with existing works, the proposed approach provides an explicit description of the structure. Thus,a stiffened plate structure with clear stiffener distribution and smooth geometric boundary can be obtained.Several numerical examples provided, including straight and curved stiffeners, hierarchical stiffeners, and a stiffened plate with a cutout, validate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed approach.

文摘Macao Science Satellite-1(known as MSS-1)is a low-inclination mission that will be launched at the beginning of 2023.An optical bench is used for accessing high-precision strength and direction measurements of the magnetic field. In this paper,we present a thermal stability design for the optical bench based on quasi-kinematic support by kinematic hinges on the MSS-1.The change in angles with the finite element method(FEM)model modified by thermal deformation test data is analyzed. The robustness of the structure is also investigated via the Monte Carlo method. Two main results are obtained.First, the peak-to-peak value(Vp-p)of the inter-boresight angle is at most 1.24″,and the Vp-p of the inter-boresight angle modification and analysis is no more than 3.13″,both of which are better than those on the Swarm satellites in orbit.Second, the 90°fibers of the carbon-reinforced arm need to be strictly controlled during the technological process.

文摘The Ningdu basin, located in southern Jiangxi province of southwest China,is one of the Mesozoic basin groups which has exploration prospects for geothermal energy.A study on the detailed velocity structure of the Ningdu basin can provide important information for geothermal resource exploration. In this study,we deployed a dense seismic array in the Ningdu basin to investigate the 3D velocity structure and discuss implications for geothermal exploration and geological evolution.Based on the dense seismic array including 35 short-period(5 s-100 Hz)seismometers with an average interstation distance of~5 km,Rayleigh surface wave dispersion curves were extracted from the continuous ambient noise data for surface wave tomographic inversion.Group velocity tomography was conducted and the 3D S-wave velocity structure was inverted by the neighborhood algorithm. The results revealed obvious low-velocity anomalies in the center of the basin, consistent with the low-velocity Cretaceous sedimentary rocks. The basement and basin-controlling fault can also be depicted by the S-wave velocity anomalies. The obvious seismic interface is about 2 km depth in the basin center and decreases to 700 m depth near the basin boundary, suggesting spatial thickness variations of the Cretaceous sediment. The fault features of the S-wave velocity profile coincide with the geological cognition of the western boundary basincontrolling fault, which may provide possible upwelling channels for geothermal fluid. This study suggests that seismic tomography with a dense array is an effective method and can play an important role in the detailed investigations of sedimentary basins.

文摘Traditional simulation methods are unable to meet the requirements of lunar takeo simulations, such as high force output precision, low cost, and repeated use. This paper proposes a cable-driven parallel mechanism which can be used for lunar takeo simulation.

文摘Optical microscope(OM),scanning electron microscope(SEM),transmission electron microscope(TEM)and tensile machine were used to characterize the microstructures and mechanical properties of as-forged and aged Mg-9.5Gd-3.8Y-0.6Zr alloys. The results show that a novel kind of dislocation arrays, comprising parallel arranged dislocations, were obtained in the forged alloy. The arrays tend to extend parallel and are heterogeneously distributed with adjacent distances varying from 0.3μm to 1.4μm.After aging the alloy at 265°C,a large number of preferential-oriented phases were precipitated on the dislocation arrays, forming a structure of"precipitation chains"(PCs),which results in simultaneous increments of strength and ductility.

文摘Gaofen-3(GF-3) is the first Chinese space-borne satellite to carry the C-band multi-polarization synthetic aperture radar(SAR). Our work not only systematically evaluates wind retrieval by using the two advanced GMFs and PR models but also proposes empirical corrections to improve the accuracy of wind retrievals from GF-3 SAR images around the China Seas and thus enhance the accuracy of near real-time operational SAR-derived wind products.

文摘High-pressure behaviour of orthorhombic MgSiO3 perovskite crystal is simulated by using the density functional theory and plane-wave pseudopotentials approach up to 120 GPa pressure at zero temperature. Taking into account the temperature corrections, the corrected mass density, bulk modulus and bulk wave velocity of MgSiO3-perovskite are estimated from the first-principles results to be 2%, 4%, and 1% lower than the preliminary reference Earth model (PREM) profile, respectively, supporting the possibility of a pure perovskite lower mantle model.
