These basic concepts and relations, revealed by experience and facts, are the result of conscious and creative activities of thought and develop along a line of continually increasing logical unity. In addition, they become further removed from direct experience and their number diminishes. However, the fewer these concepts and relations, the greater number of experiences and facts they generalize. The logical path along which the conclusions of this practice can be tested also becomes more difficult and protracted. The internal motive force for the evolution of science is the search for unity in the basis of scientific theory. Einstein’s creative exploration of deduction is of significance in guiding the development of the natural sciences. 展开更多
