The suspension is a mixture of 1-5 micrometerdiameter carbonyl iron particles with commercial hydraulic oil, which resembles typical compositionof magneto-rheological fluids. The investigation involves changing the particle concentration of thesuspension. The optimal concentration of the suspension from a tribological view point can be ob-served from the experimental results, which provides a reference to the design of the particle load-ing of magneto-rheological fluids.展开更多
