An adaptive detector is derived for range-spread target based on a novel covariance matrix estimator. It is proved that the new detector is constant false alarm rate (CFAR) to both of the clutter covariance matrix structure and power level theoretically for match cases. The simulation results show that the new detector is almost CFAR for mismatch cases, and it outperforms the existing adaptive detector based on the sample covariance matrix. It also shows that the detection performance improves, as the number of pulses, the number of secondary data or the clutter spike increases. In addition, the derived detector is robust to different subsets, estimated clutter group sizes and correlations of clutter. Importantly, the number of iterations for practical application is just one.展开更多
Multiple UAVs are usually deployed to provide robustness through redundancy and to accomplish surveillance,search,attack and rescue missions.Formation reconfiguration was inevitable during the flight when the mission ...Multiple UAVs are usually deployed to provide robustness through redundancy and to accomplish surveillance,search,attack and rescue missions.Formation reconfiguration was inevitable during the flight when the mission was adjusted or the environment varied.Taking the typical formation reconfiguration from a triangular penetrating formation to a circular tracking formation for example,a path planning method based on Dubins trajectory and particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is presented in this paper.The mathematic model of multiple UAVs formation reconfiguration was built firstly.According to the kinematic model of aerial vehicles,a process of dimensionality reduction was carried out to simplify the model based on Dubins trajectory.The PSO algorithm was adopted to resolve the optimization problem of formation reconfiguration path planning.Finally,the simulation and vehicles flight experiment are executed.Results show that the path planning method based on the Dubins trajectory and the PSO algorithm can generate feasible paths for vehicles on time,to guarantee the rapidity and effectiveness of formation reconfigurations.Furthermore,from the simulation results,the method is universal and could be extended easily to the path planning problem for different kinds of formation reconfigurations.展开更多

Firstly, for sparse scatterer density, the detection of target scatterer in each range cell is derived, and then an M/K detector is proposed to detect the whole range-spread target. Se- condly, an integrating detector is devised to detect a range-spread target with dense scatterer density. Finally, to make the best of the advantages of M/K detector and integrating detector, a robust detector based on scatterer density (DBSD) is designed, which can reduce the probable collapsing loss or quantization error ef- fectively. Moreover, the density decision factor of DBSD is also determined. The formula of the false alarm probability is derived for DBSD. It is proved that the DBSD ensures a constant false alarm rate property. Furthermore, the computational results indi- cate that the DBSD is robust to different clutter one-lag correlations and target scatterer densities. It is also shown that the DBSD out- performs the existing scatterer-density-dependent detector.展开更多

In order to recover the image and gain recognizable target, an approach to recover the space-variant blurred image is presented based on image segmentation. Be- cause of motion blur's convolution process, the pixels of observed image's target and background will be displaced and piled up to produce two superposition regions. As a result, the neighbor- ing pixels in the superposition regions will have similar grey level change. According to the pixel's motion-blur character, the target's blurred edge of superposition region could be detected. Canny operator can be recurred to detect the target edge which parallels the motion blur direction. Then in the segmentation process, the whole target image which has the character of integral convolution between motion blur and real target image can be obtained. At last, the target image is restored by deconvolution algorithms with adding zeros. The restoration result indicates that the approach can effectively solve the kind of problem of space-variant motion blurred image restoration.展开更多

The motion equations and the collision triangle for the GA and the target are established in the two-dimensional plane. In accordance with the collision triangle, the integral value of the bias term is solved and BPN is designed on the basis of the relative velocity. To ensure the new method can be solved, closedloop equation of the IBPN is deduced. Considering the limitation of the AOA and the seeker angle, a four-phase IBPN is improved by setting different phases of the bias term. At the same time, the guidance law will make the impact angle achieve the desired angle and the normal acceleration also converges to zero. The simulation results show that the improved guidance law can be applied to various flight tasks and has great potential for engineering applications.展开更多

This problem is crucial for radar-to-ESM track fusion and is complicated by the presence of individual systematic errors and measurement errors. In order to improve the track association of radar and ESM sensors, a pseudo-linear filtering algorithm is proposed to estimate the target states and improve the stability of the filter. It is found that, however, the correct probability of radar- to-ESM track association decreases as the radar measurement error decreases, when the pseudo-linear filter is used for ESM sensor filtering. In view of the strange phenomenon, this paper analyzes the reason for it by using the statistic theory and further performs Monte Carlo simulation to verify the analysis.展开更多

The phase shift keying(PSK) signal was divided into several over...In order to solve the problem of carrier frequency blind estimation of PSK signals in electronic reconnaissance, a new estimation method was proposed. The phase shift keying(PSK) signal was divided into several overlapping intervals which had equal length, and the spectrum concentration measures of every interval were extracted by the FFT. And then, using the grid-density clustering, the spectrum concentration measures were classified into two categories, the narrowband spectrum interval and the wideband spectrum interval. The narrowband spectrum interval was regarded as the characteristic class. The spectrums of the characteristic class were accumulated to estimate the carrier frequency of PSK signal. The proposed method had avoided the non linear operation in the traditional PSK signal carrier frequency estimation algorithm. Thus, the signal to noise ratio (SNR) threshold was remarkably decreased. Moreover, the proposed method did not need the prior knowledge of the signal, which was suitable to the electronic reconnaissance occasion. Experimental results had verified the validity of the proposed estimation method in low SNR.展开更多

The ...The study on alternative combination rules in Dempster- Shafer theory (DST) when evidences are in conflict has emerged again recently as an interesting topic, especially in data/information fusion applications. The earlier researches have mainly focused on investigating the alternative which would be appropriate for the conflicting situation, under the assumption that a conflict is identified. However, the current research shows that not only the combination rule but also the classical conflict coefficient in DST are not correct to determine the conflict degree between two pieces of evidences. Most existing methods of measuring conflict do not consider the open world situation, whose frame of discernment is incomplete. To solve this problem, a new conflict representa- tion model to determine the conflict degree between evidences is proposed in the generalized power space, which contains two parameters: the conflict distance and the conflict coefficient of inconsistent evidences. This paper argues that only when the con- flict measure value in the new representation model is high, it is safe to say the evidences are in conflict. So, the probabilistic transformation of imprecise belief function/mass in the generalized power space including Dezert-Smarandache (DSm) model from scalar transformation to sub-unitary interval transformation and, more generally, to any set of sub-unitary interval transformation is provided. Different from the existing probabilistic transformation algorithms that redistribute an ignorance mass to the singletons involved in that ignorance pro- portionally with respect to the precise belief function or probability function of singleton, the new algorithm provides an optimization idea to transform any type of imprecise belief assignment which may be represented by the union of several sub-unitary (half-) open intervals, (half-) closed intervals and/or sets of points belonging to [0,1]. For the research of helicopter/ship dynamic interface,the method of combining steady flow and stochastic flow is adopted to establish a flow field model applied to the flight dynamics analysis of shipborne helicopter....For the research of helicopter/ship dynamic interface,the method of combining steady flow and stochastic flow is adopted to establish a flow field model applied to the flight dynamics analysis of shipborne helicopter.The steady flow is calculated by computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method,while the stochastic flow is composed of the compensation velocity derived from ship motion and turbulence above the deck.The accuracy of the proposed flow field model is verified by comparing the helicopter response in the proposed flow field with the results calculated by US Army′s Military Specifications(MIL)model which is commonly used in engineering.Meanwhile,it also shows the proposed flow field model is more appliable to flight dynamics analysis of shipborne helicopter.On that the basis,ship deck flow field is simulated at different sea conditions by adjusting the wind speed on the deck,mother ship movement and shipboard turbulence,etc.And helicopter angular rate response is calculated.The results show that the difference of dynamic stability between helicopter′s roll and pitch leads to the facts that the influence of above factors on the helicopter′s roll angular rate response is greater than that of pitch angular rate,that the frequency and amplitude of mother ship roll motion are much greater than those of pitch motion,and that the disturbance caused by roll motion on the air has greater influence on the helicopter response.The shipboard turbulence is the main disturbance factor that influences helicopter flight stability and its intensity determines the amplitudes of angular rate response.展开更多

文摘A certain backstepping control is proposed for synchronization of a class of hyper-chaotic systems.Only two control inputs are used to realize synchronization between hyper-chaotic systems,and the control avoids the possible singularity in the virtual control design.In addition,the adaptive backstepping control is proposed for the synchronization when the system parameters are unknown.The proposed methods can be applied to a variety of chaos systems which can be described by the so-called cross-strict feedback form.Numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed control schemes.
文摘In this paper, we investigate the global character of all positive solutions of a population model of systems. Some interesting convergence properties of the solution are given, and lastly, we obtain that the solution is permanent under some conditions.

文摘The case when the source of information provides precise belief function/mass, within the generalized power space, has been studied by many people. However, in many decision situations, the precise belief structure is not always available. In this case, an interval-valued belief degree rather than a precise one may be provided. So, the probabilistic transformation of imprecise belief function/mass in the generalized power space including Dezert-Smarandache (DSm) model from scalar transformation to sub-unitary interval transformation and, more generally, to any set of sub-unitary interval transformation is provided. Different from the existing probabilistic transformation algorithms that redistribute an ignorance mass to the singletons involved in that ignorance pro- portionally with respect to the precise belief function or probability function of singleton, the new algorithm provides an optimization idea to transform any type of imprecise belief assignment which may be represented by the union of several sub-unitary (half-) open intervals, (half-) closed intervals and/or sets of points belonging to [0,1]. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the detailed implementation process of the new probabilistic transformation approach as well as its validity and wide applicability.
文摘In this paper, the design and implementation of a high performance Ultra-WideBand (UWB) Linear Frequency Modulation (LFM) waveform generator at Very High Frequency/Ultra High Frequency (VHF/UHF) band are introduced. Firstly, the design ideas for a high performance UWB LFM waveform generator are described. Then, a generation scheme for UWB LFM waveforms is presented according to the baseband digital generation method combining with the bandwidth ex-tension method via frequency doubling. An experimental system has been implemented and tested. The results show that the UWB LFM waveform generator achieves very high performance.

文摘Based on the information theory,the performance of maneuvering target tracking can be improved by increasing the input information( observation vector).In this paper,the estimations of radial acceleration and radial velocity obtained in the signal processing are introduced into the measurement vector by coordinate transformation.In order to solve the problem of high nonlinearity of the radial acceleration,radial velocity and the state vector,a new algorithm of multi-parameter sequential extended Kalman filter( MSEKF) is proposed.The tracking performance of this algorithm is tested and compared with the other tracking algorithms.It is shown that the proposed algorithm outperforms these algorithms in strong and weak maneuvering environments.

文摘In order to estimate the systematic error in the processof maneuvering target adaptive tracking, a new method is proposed.The proposed method is a linear tracking scheme basedon a modified input estimation approach. A special augmentationin the state space model is considered, in which both the systematicerror and the unknown input vector are attached to thestate vector. Then, an augmented state model and a measurementmodel are established in the case of systematic error, andthe corresponding filter formulas are also given. In the proposedscheme, the original state, the acceleration and the systematicerror vector can be estimated simultaneously. This method can notonly solve the maneuvering target adaptive tracking problem in thecase of systematic error, but also give the system error value inreal time. Simulation results show that the proposed tracking algorithmoperates in both the non-maneuvering and the maneuveringmodes, and the original state, the acceleration and the systematicerror vector can be estimated simultaneously.

文摘For the research of helicopter/ship dynamic interface,the method of combining steady flow and stochastic flow is adopted to establish a flow field model applied to the flight dynamics analysis of shipborne helicopter.The steady flow is calculated by computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method,while the stochastic flow is composed of the compensation velocity derived from ship motion and turbulence above the deck.The accuracy of the proposed flow field model is verified by comparing the helicopter response in the proposed flow field with the results calculated by US Army′s Military Specifications(MIL)model which is commonly used in engineering.Meanwhile,it also shows the proposed flow field model is more appliable to flight dynamics analysis of shipborne helicopter.On that the basis,ship deck flow field is simulated at different sea conditions by adjusting the wind speed on the deck,mother ship movement and shipboard turbulence,etc.And helicopter angular rate response is calculated.The results show that the difference of dynamic stability between helicopter′s roll and pitch leads to the facts that the influence of above factors on the helicopter′s roll angular rate response is greater than that of pitch angular rate,that the frequency and amplitude of mother ship roll motion are much greater than those of pitch motion,and that the disturbance caused by roll motion on the air has greater influence on the helicopter response.The shipboard turbulence is the main disturbance factor that influences helicopter flight stability and its intensity determines the amplitudes of angular rate response.

文摘Motivated by an open problem in the literature “Dynamics of Second Order Rational Difference Equations with Open Problems and Conjecture”, we introduce a difference equation system: xn+1={yn-2+yn-3}/xn, yn+1={xn-2+xn-3}/yn , n=o, 1 ...* Where xi, yi ∈(0, ∞), i=-3, -2, -1, 0. We try to find out some conditions such that the solution of system converges to periodic solution. This model can be applied to the two species competition and population biology.
