Due to the dissimilarity among different producing layers, the influences of inter-layer interference on the production performance of a multi-layer gas reservoir are possible. However, systematic studies of inter-layer interference for tight gas reservoirs are really limited, especially for those reservoirs in the presence of water. In this work, five types of possible inter-layer interferences, including both absence and presence of water, are identified for commingled production of tight gas reservoirs.Subsequently,a series of reservoir-scale and pore-scale numerical simulations are conducted to quantify the degree of influence of each type of interference.Consistent field evidence from the Yan'an tight gas reservoir(Ordos Basin,China)is found to support the simulation results.Additionally, suggestions are proposed to mitigate the potential inter-layer interferences. The results indicate that,in the absence of water, commingled production is favorable in two situations:when there is a difference in physical properties and when there is a difference in the pressure system of each layer. For reservoirs with a multi-pressure system, the backflow phenomenon, which significantly influences the production performance, only occurs under extreme conditions(such as very low production rates or well shut-in periods). When water is introduced into the multi-layer system,inter-layer interference becomes nearly inevitable.Perforating both the gas-rich layer and water-rich layer for commingled production is not desirable,as it can trigger water invasion from the water-rich layer into the gas-rich layer. The gas-rich layer might also be interfered with by water from the neighboring unperforated water-rich layer, where the water might break the barrier(eg weak joint surface, cement in fractures)between the two layers and migrate into the gas-rich layer.Additionally, the gas-rich layer could possibly be interfered with by water that accumulates at the bottom of the wellbore due to gravitational differentiation during shut-in operations. 展开更多

A simulated oil viscosity prediction model is established according to the relationship between simulated oil viscosity and geometric mean value of T2spectrum,and the time-varying law of simulated oil viscosity in porous media is quantitatively characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)experiments of high multiple waterflooding.A new NMR wettability index formula is derived based on NMR relaxation theory to quantitatively characterize the time-varying law of rock wettability during waterflooding combined with high-multiple waterflooding experiment in sandstone cores. The remaining oil viscosity in the core is positively correlated with the displacing water multiple. The remaining oil viscosity increases rapidly when the displacing water multiple is low,and increases slowly when the displacing water multiple is high. The variation of remaining oil viscosity is related to the reservoir heterogeneity. The stronger the reservoir homogeneity, the higher the content of heavy components in the remaining oil and the higher the viscosity. The reservoir wettability changes after water injection:the oil-wet reservoir changes into water-wet reservoir, while the water-wet reservoir becomes more hydrophilic;the degree of change enhances with the increase of displacing water multiple. There is a high correlation between the time-varying oil viscosity and the time-varying wettability, and the change of oil viscosity cannot be ignored. The NMR wettability index calculated by considering the change of oil viscosity is more consistent with the tested Amott(spontaneous imbibition)wettability index, which agrees more with the time-varying law of reservoir wettability. 展开更多

Thin section and argon-ion polishing scanning electron microscope observations were used to analyze the sedimentary and diagenetic environments and main diagenesis of the Permian Fengcheng Formation shales in different depositional zones of Mahu Sag in the Junggar Basin, and to reconstruct their differential diagenetic evolutional processes. The diagenetic environment of shales in the lake-central zone kept alkaline, which mainly underwent the early stage(Ro<0.5%)dominated by the authigenesis of Na-carbonates and K-feldspar and the late stage(Ro>0.5%)dominated by the replacement of Na-carbonates by reedmergnerite. The shales from the marginal zone underwent a transition from weak alkaline to acidic diagenetic environments, with the early stage dominated by the authigenesis of Mg-bearing clay and silica and the late stage dominated by the dissolution of feldspar and carbonate minerals. The shales from the transitional zone also underwent a transition from an early alkaline diagenetic environment, evidenced by the formation of dolomite and zeolite,to a late acidic diagenetic environment, represented by the reedmergnerite replacement and silicification of feldspar and carbonate minerals. The differences in formation of authigenic minerals during early diagenetic stage determine the fracability of shales. The differences in dissolution of minerals during late diagenetic stage control the content of free shale oil.Dolomitic shale in the transitional zone and siltstone in the marginal zone have relatively high content of free shale oil and strong fracability, and are favorable“sweet spots”for shale oil exploitation and development. 展开更多

For the analysis of the formation damage caused by the compound function of drilling fluid and fracturing fluid, the prediction method for dynamic invasion depth of drilling fluid is developed considering the fracture extension due to shale minerals erosion by oil-based drilling fluid. With the evaluation for the damage of natural and hydraulic fractures caused by mechanical properties weakening of shale fracture surface, fracture closure and rock powder blocking, the formation damage pattern is proposed with consideration of the compound effect of drilling fluid and fracturing fluid. The formation damage mechanism during drilling and completion process in shale reservoir is revealed, and the protection measures are raised. The drilling fluid can deeply invade into the shale formation through natural and induced fractures, erode shale minerals and weaken the mechanical properties of shale during the drilling process. In the process of hydraulic fracturing, the compound effect of drilling fluid and fracturing fluid further weakens the mechanical properties of shale, results in fracture closure and rock powder shedding, and thus induces stress-sensitive damage and solid blocking damage of natural/hydraulic fractures. The damage can yield significant conductivity decrease of fractures, and restrict the high and stable production of shale oil and gas wells. The measures of anti-collapse and anti-blocking to accelerate the drilling of reservoir section, forming chemical membrane to prevent the weakening of the mechanical properties of shale fracture surface, strengthening the plugging of shale fracture and reducing the invasion range of drilling fluid, optimizing fracturing fluid system to protect fracture conductivity are put forward for reservoir protection. 展开更多

Based on the displacement discontinuity method and the discrete fracture unified pipe network model,a sequential iterative numerical method was used to build a fracturing-production integrated numerical model of shale gas well considering the two-phase flow of gas and water. The model accounts for the influence of natural fractures and matrix properties on the fracturing process and directly applies post-fracturing formation pressure and water saturation distribution to subsequent well shut-in and production simulation, allowing for a more accurate fracturing-production integrated simulation. The results show that the reservoir physical properties have great impacts on fracture propagation, and the reasonable prediction of formation pressure and reservoir fluid distribution after the fracturing is critical to accurately predict the gas and fluid production of the shale gas wells.Compared with the conventional method, the proposed model can more accurately simulate the water and gas production by considering the impact of fracturing on both matrix pressure and water saturation. The established model is applied to the integrated fracturing-production simulation of practical horizontal shale gas wells. The simulation results are in good agreement with the practical production data, thus verifying the accuracy of the model. 展开更多

Laboratory filtration experiments are employed to investigate effective well killing while minimizing its impacts on surrounding rocks. The novelty of this experimental study lies in the prolonged exposure of rock samples to the killing fluid for seven days, corresponding to the average duration of well workovers in the oilfields in Perm Krai,Russia. Our findings indicate that critical factors influencing the interactions between rocks and the killing fluid include the chemical composition of the killing fluid, the mineralogical composition of the carbonate rocks, reservoir pressure and temperature, and the contact time.Petrophysical analyses using multi-scale X-ray computed tomography, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction were conducted on samples both before and after the well killing simulation. The experiments were performed using real samples of cores, crude oil,and the killing fluid. The results from this study indicate that low-mineralized water(practically fresh water)is a carbonate rock solvent.Such water causes the dissolution of rock components, the formation of new calcite crystals and amoeba-like secretions, and the migration of small particles(clay, quartz, and carbonates). The formation of deep channels was also recorded. The assessment reveals that the change in the pH of the killing fluid indicates that the observed mineral reactions were caused by carbonate dissolution. These combined phenomena led to a decrease in the total number of voids in the core samples, which was 25%on average, predominantly among voids measuring between 45 and 70μm in size. The change in the pore distribution in the bulk of the samples resulted in decreases in porosity of 1.8%and permeability of 67.0%in the studied core samples. The results from this study indicate the unsuitability of low-mineralized water as a well killing fluid in carbonate reservoirs. The composition of the killing fluid should be optimized, for example,in terms of the ionic composition of water, which we intend to investigate in future research. 展开更多

The Qiangtang Basin of the Tibetan Plateau, located in the eastern Tethys tectonic domain,is the largest new marine petroliferous region for exploration in China. The scientific drilling project consisting primarily of well QK-1 and its supporting shallow boreholes for geological surveys(also referred to as the Project)completed in recent years contributes to a series of new discoveries and insights into the oil and gas preservation conditions and source rock evaluation of the Qiangtang Basin. These findings differ from previous views that the Qiangtang Basin has poor oil and gas preservation conditions and lacks high-quality source rocks. As revealed by well QK-1 and its supporting shallow boreholes in the Project, the Qiangtang Basin hosts two sets of high-quality regional seals, namely an anhydrite layer in the Quemo Co Formation and the gypsum-bearing mudstones in the Xiali Formation. Moreover, the Qiangtang Basin has favorable oil and gas preservation conditions,as verified by the comprehensive study of the sealing capacity of seals, basin structure, tectonic uplift, magmatic activity, and groundwater motion.Furthermore, the shallow boreholes have also revealed that the Qiangtang Basin has high-quality hydrocarbon source rocks in the Upper Triassic Bagong Formation, which are thick and widely distributed according to the geological and geophysical data.In addition, the petroleum geological conditions, such as the type, abundance, and thermal evolution of organic matter, indicate that the Qiangtang Basin has great hydrocarbon-generating potential. 展开更多

The microscopic heterogeneity of pore-throat structures in tight sandstone is a crucial parameter for understanding the transport mechanism of fluid flow.In this work,we firstly developed the new procedure to characterize the pore size distribution(PSD)and throat size distribution(TSD)by combining the nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR),cast thin section(CTS),and constant-rate mercury injection(CRMI)tests, and used the permeability estimated model to verify the full-scale PSD and TSD.Then,we respectively analyzed the fractal feature of the pore and throat, and characterized the heterogeneity of pores and throats. Finally,we elaborated the effect of the pore and throat heterogeneity on the gas-phase seepage capacity base on the analysis of the simple capillary tube model and gas-flooding experiment. The results showed that(1)The PSD and TSD of the tight sandstone sample ranged from 0.01 to 10 mm and from 0.1 to 57 mm,respectively, mainly contributed by the micropores and mesopores.Meanwhile, the permeability estimated by the PSD and TSD was consistent with the experimental permeability, and relative error was lower than 8%.(2)The PSD and TSD exhibited multifractal characteristics, and singularity strength range,Δα,could be used as the indicator for characterizing the heterogeneity of pore and throat.Furthermore, the throat of the sample showed stronger heterogeneity than that the pore.(3)The throats played an important role for the fluid transport in the tight sandstone, and the effect of the throat heterogeneity on the gas-phase seepage capacity was different under the lower and higher injection pressure. The macropores and micropores maybe respectively become the preferential migration pathways at the lower and higher injection pressure. In the end,the identification plate was established in our paper, and could be described the relationship among the throat heterogeneity, injection pressure, permeability and flow path of the gas phase in the tight sandstone. 展开更多

Residual oil zones(ROZs)have large potential for CO_(2)enhanced oil recovery(EOR)and geologic storage.During CO_(2)injection,the migration of CO_(2)in ROZs controls the performance of both EOR and storage. However,it has not been clearly visualized and understood that how geological heterogeneity factors control the transport of CO_(2)in ROZs.In this study, the oil recovery performance and geologic storage potential during continuous CO_(2)injection in a representative ROZ are studied based on geostatistical modelling and high-fidelity three-phase flow simulation. We examined the influence of autocorrelation length of permeability, global heterogeneity(DykstraeParsons coefficient),and permeability anisotropy on cumulative oil recovery and CO_(2)retention fraction.Simulation results indicate that,as the permeability autocorrelation length increases, the cumulative oil recovery and CO_(2)storage efficiency decrease. This results from the accelerated migration of CO_(2)along high permeability zones(i.e.,gas channeling). The increase in global heterogeneity and permeability anisotropies can lead to low oil recovery and poor CO_(2)sequestration performance, depending on the degree of CO_(2)channeling.The net utilization ratio of CO_(2)(CO_(2)retained/oil produced)unfavorably increases with both autocorrelation length and Dykstra eParsons coefficient, but decreases with the increase in kv/kh.Such a decrease is attributed to enlarged swept volume induced by gravity override. The study provides important implications for fieldscale CO_(2)EOR and storage applications in ROZs. 展开更多

The selection of refracturing candidate is one of the most important jobs faced by oilfield engineers. However, due to the complicated multi-parameter relationships and their comprehensive influence, the selection of refracturing candidate is often very difficult. In this paper, a novel approach combining data analysis techniques and fuzzy clustering was proposed to select refracturing candidate. First, the analysis techniques were used to quantitatively calculate the weight coefficient and determine the key factors. Then, the idealized refracturing well was established by considering the main factors. Fuzzy clustering was applied to evaluate refracturing potential. Finally, reservoirs numerical simulation was used to further evaluate reservoirs energy and material basis of the optimum refracturing candidates. The hybrid method has been successfully applied to a tight oil reservoir in China. The average steady production was 15.8 t/d after refracturing treatment, increasing significantly compared with previous status. The research results can guide the development of tight oil and gas reservoirs effectively. 展开更多

Based on drilling, logging, test production and dynamic monitoring data, the control effects of low-amplitude structure on hydrocarbon accumulation and development performance of ultra-low permeability reservoirs were discussed by using the methods of dense well pattern, multi-factor geological modeling, macro and micro analysis and static and dynamic analysis. The results show that the low-amplitude structure always had a significant control and influence on the distribution and accumulation of original hydrocarbon and water and the evolution trend of water flooding performance in ultra-low permeability reservoirs, and it was not only the direction of oil and gas migration, but also a favorable place for relative accumulation of oil and gas. The controlling effect of low-amplitude structure on ultra-low permeability reservoir mainly depended on its tectonic amplitude and scale;the larger the tectonic amplitude and scale, and the higher the tectonic position of the low amplitude structure, the better the reservoir characteristic parameters, oil and gas enrichment degree and development effect, and the larger the spatial scope it controlled and influenced;water cut and oil well output always fluctuated orderly with the height of the low-amplitude structure;the dynamic response of waterflooding was closely related to the relative structural position of the injection and production wells;the injected water always advanced to the low-lying area of the structure first and then moved up to the high-lying area of the structure gradually;with the continuous expansion of the flooded area, part of the oil and gas in the low-lying part of the structure was forced to be distributed to the high part of the structure, resulting in a new oil and gas enrichment, so that the dynamic reserves of oil wells in the high part increased, and the production capacity remained stable. 展开更多

Development of unconventional tight oil and gas reservoirs such as shale pays presents a huge challenge to the petroleum industry due to the naturally low permeability of shale formations and thus low productivity of oil and gas wells.Shale formations are also vulnerable to the contamination of the water in the drilling and completion fluids, which further reduces reservoir permeability.Although gas-drilling(drilling with gas)has been used to address the issue, several problems such as formation water influx, wellbore collapse, excessive gas volume requirement and hole cleaning in horizontal drilling, still hinder its application.A new technique called gas-lift drilling has recently been proposed to solve these problems, but the optimal design of drilling operation requires a thorough investigation of fluid flow field below the asymmetric drill bits for evaluating the fluid power needed to clean the bottom hole.Such an investigation is conducted in this work based on the Finite Element Method(FEM)implemented in an open source computational framework,FEniCS.Pressure and flow velocity fields were computed for three designs of drill bit face characterized by radial bit blades and one eccentric orifice of discharge. One of the designs is found superior over the other two because it generates relatively uniform flow velocities between blades and provides a balanced fluid power needed to clean all the bit teeth on each bit blade. To quantify the capability of borehole cleanup presented by three drill bit designs, the energy per unit volume is calculated in each region of drill bit and compared with the required value suggested by the literature. In addition, the developed FEM model under FEniCS framework provides engineers an accurate tool for optimizing drill bit design for efficiently gas-lift drilling unconventional tight oil and gas reservoirs. 展开更多

An observer-based adaptive backstepping boundary control is proposed for vibration control of flexible offshore riser systems with unknown nonlinear input dead zone and uncertain environmental disturbances. The control algorithm can update the control law online through real-time data to make the controller adapt to the environment and improve the control precision.Specifically, based on the adaptive backstepping framework, virtual control laws and Lyapunov functions are designed for each subsystem.Three direction interference observers are designed to track the timevarying boundary disturbance. On this basis, the inverse of the dead zone and linear state transformation are used to compensate for the original system and eliminate the adverse effects of the dead zone.In addition, the stability of the closed-loop system is proven by Lyapunov stability theory. All the system states are bounded, and the vibration offset of the riser converges to a small area of the initial position. Finally, four examples of flexible marine risers are simulated in MATLAB to verify the effectiveness of the proposed controller. 展开更多

This work systematically reviews the complex mechanisms of CO_(2)-water-rock interactions, microscopic simulations of reactive transport(dissolution, precipitation and precipitate migration)in porous media, and microscopic simulations of CO_(2)-water-rock system. The work points out the key issues in current research and provides suggestions for future research. After injection of CO_(2) into underground reservoirs, not only conventional pressure-driven flow and mass transfer processes occur, but also special physicochemical phenomena like dissolution, precipitation, and precipitate migration. The coupling of these processes causes complex changes in permeability and porosity parameters of the porous media.Pore-scale microscopic flow simulations can provide detailed information within the three-dimensional pore and throat space and explicitly observe changes in the fluid-solid interfaces of porous media during reactions. At present, the research has limitations in the decoupling of complex mechanisms, characterization of differential multi-mineral reactions, precipitation generation mechanisms and characterization(crystal nucleation and mineral detachment),simulation methods for precipitation-fluid interaction, and coupling mechanisms of multiple physicochemical processes. In future studies,it is essential to innovate experimental methods to decouple“dissolution-precipitation-precipitate migration”processes, improve the accuracy of experimental testing of minerals geochemical reaction-related parameters, build reliable characterization of various precipitation types, establish precipitation-fluid interaction simulation methods, coordinate the boundary conditions of different physicochemical processes, and, finally, achieve coupled flow simulation of“dissolution-precipitation-precipitate migration”within CO_(2)-water-rock systems. 展开更多

Recent advances in hydrocarbon exploration have been made in the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex reservoirs of the Dengying Formation in the western Sichuan Basin, SW China, where the depositional process is regarded confusing. The microfacies, construction types, and depositional model of the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been investigated using unmanned aerial vehicle photography, outcrop section investigation, thin section identification, and seismic reflections in the southwestern Sichuan Basin. The microbialite lithologic textures in this region include thrombolite, dendrolite, stromatolite, fenestral stromatolite, spongiostromata stone, oncolite, aggregated grainstone, and botryoidal grapestone. Based on the comprehensive analysis of“depositional fabrics-lithology-microfacies”, an association between a fore mound, mound framework, and back mound subfacies has been proposed based on water depth, current direction, energy level and lithologic assemblages. The microfacies of the mound base, mound core, mound flank, mound cap, and mound flat could be recognized among the mound framework subfacies. Two construction types of marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been determined based on deposition location, mound scale, migration direction, and sedimentary facies association. Type Jinkouhe microbial mound constructions(TJMMCs) develop along the windward margin owing to their proximity to the seaward subfacies fore mound, with a northeastwardly migrated microbial mound on top of the mud mound, exhibiting the characteristics of large-sized mounds and small-sized banks in the surrounding area. Type E'bian microbial mound constructions(TEMMCs) primarily occur on the leeward margin, resulting from the presence of onshore back mound subfacies, with the smaller southwestward migrated microbial mounds existing on a thicker microbial flat. The platform margin microbial mound depositional model can be correlated with certain lateral comparison profile and seismic reflection structures in the 2D seismic section, which can provide references for future worldwide exploration. Microbial mounds with larger buildups and thicker vertical reservoirs are typically targeted on the windward margin, while small-sized microbial mounds and flats with better lateral connections are typically focused on the leeward margin. 展开更多

Bottom water coning is the main reason to reduce the recovery of horizontal bottom water reservoir. By water coning, we mean the oil-water interface changes from a horizontal state to a mound-shaped cone and breaks through to the wellbore. Autonomous inflow control device(AICD) is an important instrument maintain normal production after bottom water coning, however, the resistance increasing ability of the swirl type AICD is insufficient at present, which seriously affects the water control effect. Aiming this problem, this paper designs a multi-stage resistance-increasing and composite type AICD. The separation mechanism of oil-water two phases in this structure, the resistance form of oil-water single phase and the resistance-increasing principle of water phase are analyzed. Establishing the dual-phase multi-stage separation and resistance-increasing model, and verified by measuring the throttling pressure drop and oil-water volume fraction of the AICD, it is found that the composite type AICD has the effect of ICD and AICD at the same time, which can balance the production rate of each well section at the initial stage of production, delay the occurrence of bottom water coning. In the middle and later stages of production, water-blocking can be effectively increased to achieve water control and stable production. After structural sensitivity analysis, the influence law of various structural parameters on the water control performance of composite AICD was obtained. The simulation calculation results show that, compared with the existing swirl type AICD, composite AICD has higher sensitivity to moisture content, the water phase throttling pressure drop is increased by 4.5 times on average. The composite AICD is suitable for the entire stage of horizontal well production. 展开更多

The oil production of the multi-fractured horizontal wells(MFHWs) declines quickly in unconventional oil reservoirs due to the fast depletion of natural energy. Gas injection has been acknowledged as an effective method to improve oil recovery factor from unconventional oil reservoirs. Hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff becomes preferable when the CO_(2) source is limited. However, the impact of complex fracture networks and well interference on the EOR performance of multiple MFHWs is still unclear. The optimal gas huff-n-puff parameters are significant for enhancing oil recovery. This work aims to optimize the hydrocarbon gas injection and production parameters for multiple MFHWs with complex fracture networks in unconventional oil reservoirs. Firstly, the numerical model based on unstructured grids is developed to characterize the complex fracture networks and capture the dynamic fracture features.Secondly, the PVT phase behavior simulation was carried out to provide the fluid model for numerical simulation. Thirdly, the optimal parameters for hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff were obtained. Finally, the dominant factors of hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff under complex fracture networks are obtained by fuzzy mathematical method. Results reveal that the current pressure of hydrocarbon gas injection can achieve miscible displacement. The optimal injection and production parameters are obtained by single-factor analysis to analyze the effect of individual parameter. Gas injection time is the dominant factor of hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff in unconventional oil reservoirs with complex fracture networks. This work can offer engineers guidance for hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff of multiple MFHWs considering the complex fracture networks. 展开更多

Lost circulation is a common downhole problem of drilling in geothermal and high-temperature,high-pressure(HTHP)formations.Lost circulation material(LCM)is a regular preventive and remedial measure for lost circulation. However, conventional LCMs seem ineffective in high-temperature formations. This may be due to the changes in the mechanical properties of LCMs and their sealing performance under high-temperature conditions. To understand how high temperature affects the fracture sealing performance of LCMs,we developed a coupled computational fluid dynamics-discrete element method(CFD-DEM)model to simulate the behavior of granular LCMs in fractures. We summarized the literature on the effects of high temperature on the mechanical properties of LCMs and the rheological properties of drilling fluid. We conducted sensitivity analyses to investigate how changing LCM slurry properties affected the fracture sealing efficiency at increasing temperatures. The results show that high temperature reduces the size, strength, and friction coefficient of LCMs as well as the drilling fluid viscosity.Smaller, softer, and less frictional LCM particles have lower bridging probability and slower bridging initiation.Smaller particles tend to form dual-particle bridges rather than single-particle bridges. These result in a deeper, tighter, but unstable sealing zone.Reduced drilling fluid viscosity leads to faster and shallower sealing zones. 展开更多

Based on the independently developed true triaxial multi-physical field large-scale physical simulation system of in-situ injection and production,we conducted physical simulation of long-term multi-well injection and production in the hot dry rocks of the Gonghe Basin,Qinghai Province,NW China.Through multi-well connectivity experiments, the spatial distribution characteristics of the natural fracture system in the rock samples and the connectivity between fracture and wellbore were clarified. The injection and production wells were selected to conduct the experiments, namely one injection well and two production wells, one injection well and one production well. The variation of several physical parameters in the production well was analyzed, such as flow rate, temperature, heat recovery rate and fluid recovery. The results show that under the combination of thermal shock and injection pressure, the fracture conductivity was enhanced, and the production temperature showed a downward trend. The larger the flow rate, the faster the decrease. When the local closed area of the fracture was gradually activated, new heat transfer areas were generated, resulting in a lower rate of increase or decrease in the mining temperature. The heat recovery rate was mainly controlled by the extraction flow rate and the temperature difference between injection and production fluid. As the conductivity of the leak-off channel increased, the fluid recovery of the production well rapidly decreased. The influence mechanisms of dominant channels and fluid leak-off on thermal recovery performance are different. The former limits the heat exchange area, while the latter affects the flow rate of the produced fluid. Both of them are important factors affecting the long-term and efficient development of hot dry rock. 展开更多
