It is found that the welding interfaces are wavy due to the wavy explosive loading. There are three kinds of bonding interfaces i. e. big wave, small wave and micro wave. There are a few seam defects and all elements contents are less than both of the base and .flyer plate in the transition zone of big wavy interface. Moreover, some "holes" result in the lowest bonding strength of big wavy interface nearby the interface in the base plate. All elements contents of the small wavy interface are between two metals, and there are few seam and hole defects, so it is the higher for the bonding strength of small wavy interface. There is no transition zone and defects in the micro wavy interface, so the interface is the best. To gain the high quality small and micro wavy bonding interface the explosive charge should be controlled.展开更多
To study the potential effect of sea spray on the evolution of typhoons,two kinds of sea spray flux parameterization schemes developed by Andreas (2005) and Andreas and Wang (2006) and Fairall et al. (1994) respective...To study the potential effect of sea spray on the evolution of typhoons,two kinds of sea spray flux parameterization schemes developed by Andreas (2005) and Andreas and Wang (2006) and Fairall et al. (1994) respectively are incorporated into the regional atmospheric Mesoscale Model version 3.6 (MM5V3) of Pennsylvania State University/National Center for Atmospheric Research (PSU/NCAR) and the coupled atmosphere-sea spray modeling system is applied to simulate a Western Pacific super ty-phoon Ewiniar in 2006. The simulation results demonstrate that sea spray can lead to a significant increase in heat fluxes at the air-sea interface and the simulated typhoon’s intensity. Compared with the results without sea spray,the minimum sea level pressure reduces about 8hPa after taking account of sea spray by Fairall et al.’s parameterization (1994) and about 5hPa by Andreas’ (2005) and Andreas and Wang’s (2006) parameterization at the end of the model integration,while the maximum 10m wind speed increases about 17% and 15% on average,respectively,through the entire simulation time period. Taking sea spray into account also causes significant changes in Tropical Cyclone (TC) structure due to an enhancement of water vapor and heat transferred from the sea sur-face to the air; therefore,the center structure of the typhoon becomes more clearly defined and the wind speed around the typhoon eye is stronger in numerical experiments. The simulations show that different sea spray flux parameterizations make different modi-fications to the TC structure.展开更多

By using special pream-bles to assist the decision of a feed...This paper presents a semi-blind tracking algorithm used for Multiple Phase Shift Keying based Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(MPSK-OFDM) system. By using special pream-bles to assist the decision of a feedback loop and to solve the problem of phase ambiguity,the tracking performance of the algorithm has been improved greatly. Only a few preambles are needed in the al-gorithm since the preambles are not used to estimate the frequency offset but used to provide the variation information of the phase due to the presence of frequency offset. Simulations verify that the algorithm has low SNR bound for tracking as well as high tracking accuracy and the tracking range is expanded to 30% of one subcarrier spacing.展开更多

The estimator focuses on the acquisition of the integer part of carrier frequency offset and the acquisition range is as large as the whole signal bandwidth. Making full use of the phase difference between received pilot and local ref- erential pilot, a fast estimation is obtained. Compared with existing method, our method can also work well even in SNR as low as 0dB. Simulations verify the good performance of our method.展开更多
It's a necessary selection to support the maneuver across Yangtze River by floating bridge constructed by portable steel bridge and civilian ships.It is a comprehensive index for the scheme of bridge raft,containi...It's a necessary selection to support the maneuver across Yangtze River by floating bridge constructed by portable steel bridge and civilian ships.It is a comprehensive index for the scheme of bridge raft,containing a variety of technical factors and uncertainties.The optimization is the selection in the constructing time,quantity of equipments and man power.Based on the calculation result of bridge rafts,an evaluating system is established,consisting of index of spacing between interior bays,raft length,truss numbers,operation difficulty and maximal bending stress.A fuzzy matter element model of optimizing selection of bridge rafts was built up by combining quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis.The method of combination weighting was used to calculate the value of weights index to reduce the subjective randomness.The sequence of schemes and the optimization result were gained finally based on euclid approach degree.The application result shows that it is simple and practical.展开更多
