An analysis of polymer materials behavior under cutting forces load was presented.The analysis was accomplished taking into account the existence and interaction of micro cracks in material.On the basis of modeling representations of a polymeric material behavior at cutting the method of preliminary mechanical destruction a superficial layer of polymeric material was developed.The essence of the method consists in producing micro-cracks in form of blind holes on the upper layer of blanks before turning.The aim of this method is a plastic deformation zones creation under stresses interaction occurring at the adjacent crack apexes.Results of experimental researches of fabric-based laminate turning processing according to the offered method were submitted.The analysis of the received results confirms expediency of application of the given combined method and the decrease of a roughness on the processed surface of fabric-based laminate is testifying about it.

Magneto-elastic waves in the orthoferrite plates induced by solitary domain wall

Dynamics of domain walls(DWs) was studied in transparent thin orthoferrite samples with weak ferromagnetic ordering at subsonic and supersonic speeds.Direct measurements were made of flexural vibration amplitude in the samples studied,which were induced by a solitary DW with periodic actions of a driving magnetic field.The values of the amplitude reached 7 nm at a resonance.The formation of magnetoelastic solitons was observed and their dynamics was studied at a resonance between an elastic and a spin subsystems.Solitons lag behind the DW at the moment when the DW surpasses the sound barrier and are ahead of it at the subsonic motion.

Stabilization of cubic ordering of zirconium dioxide nanoclusters on silicon with laser ablation

Regimes of continuous and pulsed laser action on high-melting oxide compounds of ZrO2 were found with the aim of obtaining steady coatings on monocrystal silicon on laser ablation.X-ray phase analyses,scanning and atomic-force microscopy reveal that the coatings obtained are of nanocluster structure with the cubic ordering.In this case the nanoclusters reach several hundreds of nanometers in size.An assumption was made that on laser ablation of ZrO2 thermostabilization may take place where a minimum of the surface energy is attained just at cubic ordering.

Dynamics of acousto-rheological properties of polymerized materials on their solidification

An automated system was designed to study in a continuous regime the rheological properties of the care polymeric compositions using the damped vibration method.In a parallel mode measurements of rheological and acoustic characteristics of the care compositions were made on the basis of epoxy resin.Dependencies of shear modulus,viscosity,the sound speed,and the damping coefficient as functions of polymerization were presented.Dynamics of spectral characteristics of acoustic signals in the polymerization were investigated.Comparison of the experimental results obtained reveals that the dynamics of the variation of acoustic and rheological properties is significantly different.The major change of acoustic characteristics occurs in the initial stage of the solid state formation when a transition from a liquid-to-gel like state takes place.Rheological characteristics vary dramatically at the crossover from a high-viscosity to solid state.In the frequency dependencies of an acoustic signal a number of essential features were observed.

Application of methods of X-ray diffraction analysis and acoustic emission on research of plastic deformation in steels

Results of researches on plastic deformation of steels were obtained by acoustic emission and X-ray methods.The new numerical-analytical method of the thin structure parameter determination on one diffraction line was offered.It is supposed that with a growth of the deformation the cubic lattice will be transformed in the orthorhombic lattice.It is shown that changes of a condition of crystal structure of austenitic steel occur in four stages and of carbonaceous steel occur in six stages.Existence of two types of acoustic emission sources in carbonaceous steel and one type of acoustic emission source in austenitic steel was proposed.

Quality Analyses of Fine Structures Transfer in the Photorealistic Images

This work presents method of the quality analyses of the photorealistic images. Developed method utilizes proposed criteria of image definition quality for fine details. Presented method has the following significant property: the quality estimation is provided without test images or patterns. Algorithm for search and recognition of fine structures in the photorealistic images using the predefined criterion is considered.

EXPONENTIAL CONVERGENCE OF SAMPLE AVERAGE APPROXIMATION METHODS FOR A CLASS OF STOCHASTIC MATHEMATICAL PROGRAMS WITH COMPLEMENTARITY CONSTRAINTS

In this paper, we propose a Sample Average Approximation （SAA） method for a class of Stochastic Mathematical Programs with Complementarity Constraints （SMPCC） recently considered by Birbil, G/irkan and Listes [3]. We study the statistical properties of obtained SAA estimators. In particular we show that under moderate conditions a sequence of weak stationary points of SAA programs converge to a weak stationary point of the true problem with probability approaching one at exponential rate as the sample size tends to infinity. To implement the SAA method more efficiently, we incorporate the method with some techniques such as Scholtes＇ regularization method and the well known smoothing NCP method. Some preliminary numerical results are reported.
