To identify the efficacy and safety of acupuncture in the management of cancer, this review critically analyses the relevant publications including both experimental and clinical studies. The majority of studies suggest that acupuncture effectively relieves some cancer related symptoms such as cancer pain, and some adverse effects caused by the cancer conventional treatments such as nausea, vomiting, neutropenia and xerostomia.展开更多
