The microstructure of the thin-walled tubes with high-strength aluminum alloy determines their final forming quality and performance. This type of tube can be manufactured by multi-pass hot power backward spinning process as it can eliminate casting defects, refine microstructure and improve the plasticity of the tube. To analyze the microstructure distribution characteristics of the tube during the spinning process, a 3D coupled thermo-mechanical FE model coupled with the microstructure evolution model of the process was established under the ABAQUS environment. The microstructure evolution characteristics and laws of the tube for the whole spinning process were analyzed. The results show that the dynamic recrystallization is mainly produced in the spinning deformation zone and root area of the tube. In the first pass, the dynamic recrystallization phenomenon is not obvious in the tube. With the pass increasing, the trend of dynamic recrystallization volume percentage gradually increases and extends from the outer surface of the tube to the inner surface. The fine-grained area shows the states of concentration, dispersion, and re-concentration as the pass number increases. . 展开更多

The density of vacuum counter-pressure cast aluminum alloy samples under grade-pressuring condition was studied. The effect of grade pressure difference and time on the density of aluminum alloys was discussed, and the solidification feeding model under grade-pressuring condition was established. The results indicate the grade-pressured solidification feeding ability of vacuum counter-pressure casting mainly depends on grade pressure difference and time. With the increase of grade pressure difference, the density of all the aluminum alloy samples increases, and the trend of change in density from the pouring gate to the top location is first decreasing gradually and then increasing. In addition, in obtaining the maximum density, the optimal grade-pressuring time is different for samples with different wall thicknesses, and the solidification time when the solid volume fraction of aluminum alloy reaches about 0.65 appears to be the optimal beginning time for gradepressuring. 展开更多

The cast Ti-6Al-4V alloy bars with different section sizes were fabricated by investment casting at counter-gravity condition with the mold temperatures of 300 ℃ and 650 ℃, respectively. The microstructure of the alloy was observed by means of OM and SEM, and the effect of mold temperature and casting dimension on tensile properties was studied. Results show that equiaxed grains are obtained regardless of the casting dimension. 13 grain size tends to increase with an increase in mold temperature. Hot isostatic pressing of the alloy was carried out for tensile properties' comparison. Room temperature tensile test results show that Ti-6Al-4V alloy produced via counter-gravity casting has good balance of strength and ductility after hot isostatic pressing (HIP). The alloy shows higher ductility due to the elimination of porosity. In both cast and HIP status, the tensile strength is inclined to decrease with an increase in mold temperature, while the ductility is prone to slightly increase. Both the strength and ductility tend to decrease with an increase in the casting dimension. 展开更多

A new fluid bag buffer mechanism, which can provide large axial stiffness under the small displacement,is designed. The dynamic change laws of the mechanism stiffness and the internal pressure of the fluid bag are studied when it is subjected to impact load.According to the protection performance for the flexible joint and the pressure change in the fluid bag during the impact process, the sensitivity of the geometric parameters of the fluid bag to the axial stiffness is analyzed by using the orthogonal experimental method, and the optimal parameter combination of the geometric parameters of the fluid bag under impact is obtained, leading to the displacement of the inner shell reduce by 41.4%.The results show that the internal pressure of the fluid bag is a rising process of oscillation and fluctuation. The sensitivity of the geometric parameters of the fluid bag to the displacement of the inner shell from high to low is as follows:Height H,radius r,wall thickness t,chamfer A.The correlation between the geometric parameters of the fluid bag and its internal pressure is:H is negatively correlated with the internal pressure, while the r,t,and A are positively correlated with the internal pressure. 展开更多

The stochastic resonance in paced time-delayed scale-free FitzHugh--Nagumo (FHN) neuronal networks is investigated. We show that an intermediate intensity of additive noise is able to optimally assist the pacemaker in imposing its rhythm on the whole ensemble. Furthermore, we reveal that appropriately tuned delays can induce stochastic multiresonances, appearing at every integer multiple of the pacemaker's oscillation period. We conclude that fine-tuned delay lengths and locally acting pacemakers are vital for ensuring optimal conditions for stochastic resonance on complex neuronal networks. 展开更多
